The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

Rano told her to bring Geet in lawn so that they cn talk to her regarding d marriage ,, daimaa nodded sadly nd went back with heavy heart ,, she didn't know how Geet wd react ?

At eve Daimaa brought Geet in lawn saying to have a walk nd some fresh air ,, they wr walking nd geet was telling her about her friends future plans nd some replies from diff well ranked colleges for her MBA too ,, daimaa was listening quietly with a faint smile but her heart was crying ,, then they came Mahinder nd Rano ,, seeing them Geet turned to go back home but daimaa held her hand nd pleaded .

Daimaa: geet beta plzz for me stay here nd listen what they want to say ,, they r ur parents beta.

Geet: Daijaan , do u regret that u left ur house for ur self -respect?

After that geet argued many times but daimaa always pacified her ,, Rano nd Mahi came to talk nd requested her to co-operate ,, Darji only warned her that they won't tolerate if someone raised any finger at his family bcoz of her ,, Geet was not participating in any preparation ,, she was not interested ,, helplessly Daimaa doing from her side ,,d days of wedding come nd all d Handas along with Pummy nd her family had to go Delhi ,, a resort was booked for them nd for d wedding in NCR ,, ,, engagement was a small family ceremony in resort hall .

They got married With all rituals ,, Mahinder nd Rano did her Kanyadaan happily,, now she was belong to Khurana ,, now her new life was going to start ,, Handas did their best ,, with heavy heart they did vidaai ,, daimaa nd Geet's eyes wr shedding tears nd finally Khuranas returned at KM with their elder DIL ,, Dadima nd Maan's mom welcomed bride nd groom with all rituals ,, Maan nd Geet wr doing everything quietly ,, Geet was observing Maan with lowered eyes ,, she didn't find him happy bur she shrugged her thoughts bcz she too was in same situation nd may be he too didn't like all these poojas nd superstitions ,, both wr totally unknown to each other so there wr only speculations not trust ,, there was a long way to know each other ,, 1^st they need a talk which was also very far .

After few grha pravesh rituals girls of relatives brought Geet in a room ,, it was a king size bedroom nd beautifully decorated ,, they settled Geet on bed ,, whispering nd giggling with each other nd then left ,, it was mid night nd all wr tired so went to sleep in their respective rooms ,, Geet was sitting nd dozing in that dimly lit room ,, she was restless nd anxious .. how two totally unknown person start their talk , share a room nd then bed ?
