The Myth

The test of a true myth is that each time u return to it , new insights and interpretations arise.

A saying Or belief Or fact Or superstition Or Myth ... these words play an important part in ppl's life ,, many blindly believe or live their lives on some belief nd myths ,, from d time of d bith of a child to till his/her end some belief never left them ,, those ppl trust a priest who himself a human being nd it's also said that human is a bundle of mistakes ,, then how cn a priest be trusted blindly ? Does a priest's words r more important than an innocent child ? If yes then where is humanity , love , care nd family bonding ? Where r relations nd their warmth ? Where is Truth nd Reality ?

The current disturbance nd lose sickened more d orthodox mind of darji nd pummy ,, d craving for their heir nd for boy grew more in their hearts ,, they brought up with this single line that boy dominate d family nd become d heir ,, a boy carry forward d name of Khaandaan , though it's also a truth that after 4th gen ppl forget that whose khandaan they r carrying forward ,, there is no sign of Ashoka d great's khaandaan nd great Akbar's khandaan ,, it wr they who wrote their names in golden letters with their works ,, ppl don't learn nd think that it's our Karmas nd deeds which make us great not d khaandaan ,, ppl recognize our khaandaan bcoz of our good works otherwise they forgot who belongs to whom?

Mahinder nd Rano had to live in hsptl for 10 days nd when dr gave their satisfactory report they discharged d baby but with d strict guideline for baby's care for next two more months ,, these ten days wr very tough for d family nd disturbed all's life nd gave money lose too in pvt hsptl fee ,, though all wr relax now but d main prob was ready to start in home .

On 10 day ppl had pooja for new born baby nd so Rano wished ,, all wr discussing about it nd Pummy disclosed d facts about d baby ,, Darji too showed his worries which made Rano nd Mahi tensed ,, Pummy said to Rano that she had to inform her bro about it bcoz d girl was born in few doshas nd it's not good for maternal uncle too so he had to do brought some things for pooja nd Daan to avoid d bad omen ,, Rano to brought up in a village so knew these types of myths of society ,, she informed her family for d pooja bcoz d maternal family brought dresses nd shagun for baby nd mother nd as d Pt said that they had to do something extra ,, now those family to became conscious nd thought d girl brought hard luck for all ,, Mahi nd Rano who got happiness after yrs now drowning in worries , Pt , darji nd pummy wr trying their best to go with d solution suggested by Pt for their coming future.

Rano: but, darji how cn we leave our baby like this , this is our blood nd d 1'st child of family.

Pummy: what if ur this blood brought something bad for mahi nd for this family , r u ready to face any lose ,, still u both faced a lot coz of this baby.

Mahi: what was d baby's fault in this , her life was also in danger .

Darji: we know ur concern mahi but u have to think about d future too ,, Rano , try to understand this girl cn effect Mahi nd whole family future ,, what'll u do if something went bad ,, we r only saying to keep d baby away from family , we have to find someone who cn keep her with them , though it seems difficult bcoz who'll agree to keep a girl who is hard luck for her own parents ? Mahi nd Rano wr in a tough situ,, it was very hard to discard their small baby ,, Farida d trusted Maid of d family from yrs was witnessing all ,, she didn't like idea to discard d baby ,, she was annoyed at d Pt nd surprised how d family was listening nd trusting blindly,, but she was a servant nd cdn't speak in owner's family matters , she only said to Rano , not to discard d baby .

The news spread in few families nd relatives ,, all wr adding their views nd telling stories about what happened to whom in this case which only fearing Handa family nd increasing their worries ,but there was no solution ,, rano asked to her mother nd bro-bhabhi to keep d baby , but they made excuses nd Rano understood that they didn't want then she nd darji asked to Pummy , who was there nd witnessing their prob nd giving advises .

Rano: pummi di , u live in diff home nd family , plzz u keep my daughter we'll bear all d expenditure of her upbringing , she is hard luck for her parents but not for others.

Darji: yes pummy , u cn help us ,, any unknown ppl won't help us .

Pummy: sorry Rano nd Darji ,, I cn't , what if something wrong happen to my family ,, my MIL nd husband won't agree , they r very strict,,, it's not d matter of few days but for many yrs ,, sorry I cn't take this responsibility against my family.

Rano helplessly looked at Mahi , who was already sad ,, this prob face off many close ppl who showed that they wr their well-wisher but stepping back whn they wr in need ,, now what to do ? how nd where they cd leave their small baby who need care nd love ,, Darji was not agree to keep d baby in family even now Rano too was fearing for Mahi nd coming life , then her sight went to Farida who was taking care of her nd baby ,, a thought came in her mind .

Farida was working in d family from yrs ,, she didn't have any family , her husband remarried nd d second lady threw her out from d house ,, her own family didn't come forward to give her shelter ,, for them her husband house was her last place,, Rano find her at Jammu railway station in a half conscious stage burning in fever ,, she pitied , gave her water nd asked about her family but finding d fact that she was abandoned Rano brought her nd gave shelter in HH ,, from that day Farida was working here , though darji nd her MIL ( who was alive that time) didn't allow farida to cook for d family as she wa from diff religion so she did other works , but she was very trustful .

It was d day of pooja nd today after pooja nd before Grah Shanti Hawan they had to sep d girl from d family ,, Rano was in her room feeding d baby ,, many thoughts wr running in her mind nd making her sad when she looked at d fragile baby ,, farida was arranging d room ,, she was also sad with all that happening in d family over d baby .

Rano: farida bi agar mai aaj aapse ek madad mangu to aap karengi ? ( Farida Bi will u help me if I ask something from u)

Farida: malkin aap mujhse kuch bhi maang sakti hein , mujhe zindgi jeene ke liye ek chat aur roti aapne di hei nahi to mere apno ne hi mujhe beghar ker diya tha ,, mere paas kya hei jo mai aapko du , ye zindgi aapki khidmat mei hei .( Ma'am u cn ask me anything ,, it was u who gave me life nd shelter when my own family discarded me ,, what I have to give , i gave my life in ur service )

Rano: farida kya tum meri bacchi ko apna sakti ho , esse paal sakti ho ? mai tumhe sab kuch dungi eski parvarish ke liye ,, tumhare siwa mei ab kisi per yakeen nahi ker sakti , tum meri aakhiri ummeed ho , kya tum ess nanhi jaan ki Daimaa banogi ?( Farida will u accept my daughter , cn u look after her ? i'll give u everything for her upbringing ,, I cn't trust anyone except u , u r my last hope , will u be a Daimaa for my daughter ?

Farida was shocked at this request ,, it was a big responsibility for a mere maid who belonged to a diff religion , but Rano was trusting her ,, she too didn't have any one in her life ,, d motherly love of a woman forcing her to say yes ,, what if in d fear this family sent d baby in an unknown cruel hands ... No ,, it's better if she did , at least with this baby she cd live a good life ,, this baby cn fill d void of her life nd d baby cd live in front of her parents ,, it was good for all ,, she looked at d sleeping baby nd a sweet smile crept on her lips .

Farida Bi: mai ye jarro karoongi malkin ,, aap sab ke liye ,, ess ghar ke liye, ess bacchi ke liye aur apne liye bhi , mai iski daimaa banoogi ,, mai esse palungi aur aapko kabhi koi shikayat bhi nahi hogi .{ I'll do it Ma'am ,, for all of u , for this house , for this baby nd for me too , i'll be her daimaa ,, i'll bring her up nd won't give u any reason to complain }

Rano held her hands nd thanked her with wet eyes ,, she was relieved now at least now she cd have her daughter in front of her nd for this she had to do some efforts as a mother .
