ZeeTV's most awaited show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani starred by television diva Dhrasti Dhami Khemka and Siddharth Karnick and much more bigger names from TV galaxy in finally started shooting .

This show scheduled to start May 2nd week but due to IPL it delayed and the production house still hunting for few more characters because whole the cast is full 45 actors.

The story revolves around Rana Indravandan Singh(Siddharth Karnick) and Gayatri(Drashti Dhami Khemka) whose marriage is only for money sake and then how Gayatri will be the most love Queen for people and how she finds the way to win her widower husband heart.

Finally we hear some update on the long awaited Zee TV show

Ever since the first promo of Drashti Dhami and Siddhant Karnick's Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani hit the tube, people have been waiting anxiously to see another glimpse of the show and their favourite actors.

This will be Drashti Dhami's first screen appearance post her wedding. Initially there were rumours that the show is being delayed because the makers were still looking for Drashti's replacement in the show. As soon as the rumour went viral, Drashti tweeted claiming that she is still very much part of the show. Thank God for that or the fans would have grilled with Zee network and the production house.

Anyway, the makers of the show have finally started shooting and are in full swing before the big launch. A popular website just informed that the entire cast is taking off to Rajasthan for an extensive shoot. Joining Drashti for the shoot will be Siddhant Karnick, Surekha Sikri (playing Daadi), Darshan Zariwala and Pawan Mahendru.

Akshay Anand has been roped in to play Siddhant's uncle- his character will be an out an out negative along with his onscreen wife Parull Chaudhry.

Let's hope the makers wrap up the shoot and it's all set to go on air soon. Keeps fans wait for this long is not nice, no?
