PART 12- CAN U BE A GENTLEMEN

I was with dadi ji in living room while maan went in for shower..

I sat besides her nd we started chatting.. Dadi ji's presence was comforting me... I never felt so homely ..

All of sudden.. she got a call.. She excused herself...and I retreated back to the kitchen to keep the dishes..

When I came back I found her impatient and worried... She was pacing back n froth..

" is everything okay dadi ji.." I asked certainly though I felt I shouldn't have

Dadi ji stared at me..nd smiled weakly..

" nothing bet work pressure,..." She sighed taking her seat on arm chair..

I tailed towards her and patted her hand

She smiled back at my gesture

" sometimes I wish maan was the same nd he could help.. me..." her voice was sad nd I could sense it... But more than that her words jumbled me... Maan had changed?? I was soo curious to knw why nd what was he like earlier??

" ohh Beta could you just see if maan is ready?? I need to talk to him before I leave..."

I nodded nd hummed yes before striding upstairs in maan's room

I knocked twice but he dint reply.. Huffing frustratingly I pulled the door and dragged myself inside..

I froze on my spot as my gaze descended on him... I involuntarily grasp staring his wet back... I bit my lower lip covering my lips when I realized my he heard my grasp...and flipped..

Our eyes met for a moment before I downcasted them.. His eyes were hypnotizing me... I couldn't bear the passion in them..

I cursed my disability once again..this time my legs too gave up...

Next instant I was hauled to his chest..with a strong tug on my waist.. My heart stopped beating when our torso's came in contact.. His bare torso and wet hair with all his sexiness was driving me insane..

His hand pushed my tresses neatly on one side... I shivered.. feeling his cold touch..

I had my eyes close.. I dint dare open them... I dint knw when I was cornered to a wall...

" I knw I m irresistible.. But if u continue to behave like this I wont be able..too..." He trailed.. off making me snap open my eyes...

My eyes popped out feeling his hand shamelessly roaming on my waist..with that naughty glint on his face...

I pushed him... Forcefully and knotted my brows... " y y cant u behave normally u..r ur...grrr" I groaned not able to find a perfect word for him

Maan chuckled ignoring my words... and began wiping his hair...

I was once again mesmerized ..and continued gawking him..

" btw... what gets u here in my room.." he questioned..me making me startled out of my dream land..

" uh.. ha..dadi ji was..asking about u..she has to leave for office..." I retorted...

" hmm...okay.." he replied..causally.. and walked to his wardrobe..

I was continuously scanning his moves... Dadi ji's words were floating in my mind... our first meet... till now.. Maan has always been mysterious and intriguing to me...

" why cant u be a gentlemen??" I blurted out of the blue...

Maan paused his actions and then looked at me..narrowing his brows...

" what makes u say that??"

I almost kicked myself ..gosh y do I behave like a maniac in front of him... But no..way geet don't give up.. I motivated myself

"u..u..uhh don't try to change the subject... I asked u na.. y cant u behave like a gentlemen..???y are u always sooo khadoos types..." God knws where did I get that verve to answer him...

" I m...a gentle men..and i behave like one Geet don't u knw that by now.." he smirked wearing his shirt..

" huhh gentle men.. ya ya." I mumbled slowly

" no u don't... . u r always..always...bugging me..irritating..me..and..."

" and protecting u always..." he added...sarcastically

" huhh" I pouted when he stood in front of me all dressed...

"now lets go we r getting late for school"

" maan... U u should go with dadi ji.. she seems worried..." I told him...what was on my mind..

His expressions changed drastically... I could see that clearly

" maan.." I was so conecreened about him... Now I was sure something has happened...in their past which has changed many things like dadi ji said

" geet don't..."maan raised his hand... His eyes turned dark as they met mine..

" don't tell me what to do..."

" ohh okay... But I thought we r frnds and frnds share everything with each other.. and moreover I just wanted to help dadi ji..." I replied immediately trying to calm him down

" hmmm" he hummed...and rushed downstairs.. I decided to keep mum..and followed him..

And then guess what he actually did what I said.. Maan and dadi ji dropped me to school.. aww I was soo glad to see that smile on dadi ji's face.. But maan's face his face was expressionless... But giving me a list of instructions in person.. that my car will be waiting here with the driver...he let me go..

School was nice.. I actually enjoyed it...studying I guess it helped me a lot to divert my mind... School was almost over when i.. saw mom waiting outside the gate.

I immediately hid behind the tree... I was frightened by just her once glance...

" geeet heyy ur mom is here she wants to take u home.. she's been searching u i guess " one of my frnd said..who was passing by ..

This panicked me more.. I ran from there and left the college using back gate..

This time I needed to see maan.. I wont be at peace until I meet him.. So without thinking twice...asked the driver to take me to KC

I climbed down.. and was about to move inside the building when I heard some one's cry...

I looked on either side... but couldn't find anyone.. I was standing in the parking lot of kC

As I took a step ahead.. the voice turned sharp... and I moved towards the source to find... Sanjana...on the floor crying...bitterly

" Sanjanaaa..." I screamed... and rushed towards her

" geeettt" She called out my name before.. She fainted...
