PART - 34CONFUSION, anxiety and frustration all attacked her and broke her sleep. She awake. Her forehead covered with some sweat beads. She half laid and felt the moments of her baby. Baby moving in a pace at the moment. Smile came on her dried lips. "relax baby,mumma will not let happen anything wrong with you." Caressing her bump she talked to baby. She wants to assure herself before she should made any promise to her baby. But still nothing was on assurance. The moments her mind filled with many thoughts. She wants to give a secure future to her baby,sply without Maan's name and money.
His care this time really effects her but she don't let it overpowered her decision,when Maan wasn't ready for any commitment to their relation. He stopped his activities on a safty grounds not with his will.
Struggling with her own emotions she didn't even realized how much time had passed. Suddenly her phone laying on side table start buzzing and broke her thoughts. She glance at the screen and quickly picked up the call. Meera was on the line. She wished her and start talking.
"how are you and baby?" She asked about both's well being.
"we both are fine." she replied in a content voice. "you tell? How all are? And sply Alya? Will she adjust there?" Geet curious to know about little mischief.
"dont ask Geet. I am hell tired from travelling and there is too much hot atmosphere. But Alya madam she actually amused all of us. We all are worried about her more. How will she adjust in a complete new atmosphere. But she is surprised all of us. She not only happy here but made all kids her friend. I dont even know their names but she loved to play with each and everyone. And they also took her with them. Or ye chali b jati hai. Most of the time to main or Dev isko search hi kar rahe hote hai." Meera without a pause telling her stories and Geet so lost in them. She even forgot about her all worries,though for a few moments but she did. Geet laughed softly hearing about Alya's tales. "sorry i was so lost in telling about her. Geet you are ok na. I mean my other baby is with you. He is also not less. Geet wo tang to nahi kar raha na?" Meera asked and Geet quickly catch her worry about being a mother. She can understand what actually Meera wants to know. She missed her son badly who was away from her for the first time.
"don't worry he is fine." Geet glance next to her and caress Parth,who was sleeping calmly,holding her. "abhi so raha hai nahi to baat b karwa deti." Geet assured a mother that her child is safe and fine.
Though she bit disappointed because she not got a chance to hear his voice,still Geet's assurance calmed her. "no its completely fine. Let him sleep. But don't let him sleep for so long."
"Meera its 3 am here. Dont worry he will not miss his exam." Geet was like reading her mind.
Meera realized that now they were in India and there is a time difference. "oh yes. Actually i forgot that there is a time difference between the countries. I am so sorry Geet i broke your sleep also. Sorry dear. Just take a sound sleep. I am dropping the call." She apolozised.
"no you don't. I am already awaked when you called me." She removed her guilty.
"Geet why you are awaking? Is there everything ok? I mean pls tell me clearly. You and baby fine na? Maan bhai ne..." Meera got worried again. Being aware about Maan's nature this rosed tension was normal.
Geet complete her unsaid words. "Meera relax. No need to worry about any thing. I am completely fine and baby too." she assured her again to convience her.
"Geet we are away from Canada,not from you. So keep in mind. Whenever you need us,just call me,without any hesitation. Promise me you will." She said what may be Geet's heart want to listen. That there is one who always be for her and baby.
"promise."
"ok now you try to sleep and dont take any kind of stress." Meera wished her night and cut the call. Geet drop the phone and tuned to glance Maan and Parth.
Room was silent and Maan was sleeping aloof on the corner of the bed.
Geet stood up to covered him. "khadus Khurana. Aise so rahe hai jaise Parth me se current aa raha hai." Geet muffled in her mouth on Maan's aloof behaviour. He slept making distance from Parth who was sleeping between them.
Geet covered both and moved to her side. Parth was wriggling in sleep,missing her warmth,so she quickly slipped inside the comforter and grasped him. Soon she to felt her eyes goes dizzy. After a soothing conversation with Meera she felt good drifted to sleep soon,getting rid from her torturous thoughts.
Next sunny morning was full of excitement,sply for Parth as he had a last day of his exam and after wards he is free to play and do mischiefs. Geet dressed him for his school and once again Maan was forced to drop him to school.
He was thinking what his life become,so monotonous. No fun, no excitement. He felt like a donkey who carried a weight of unwanted responsibilities. He do everything unwillingly. "MSK what a life you are living? Is this what you desired for? One mistake,just one mistake and your whole life goes ups and down. First Geet and now this Parth controlling my life."
In his mansion there is not only Geet who facing mood swings. Maan was to going through alot. His mind f**king thought torturing him. He still wasn't sure why he bearing all this. Geet is not ready for marriage without his love commitment and he wont love anyone. Just can't bound himself in bounderies. No doubts she is his responsibility and he cares to. But that care doesn't means love.
*****Parth was so excited and playing since he came back from school,without even taking a pause. Geet was rushing to feed him as today he was in full mood of excitement. He was jumping on sofa, flying his remote plane and hit it here and there,broking things,which actually scared Geet. She doesn't want to gave any reason to scold Parth. Thankfully he didn't broke expensive items. Just two lamp shades and one vass. In evening finally he felt hungry and demand for some snacks. Geet went in kitchen to cook. Meantime Parth was playing with his marbles,which rolled everywhere in the hall. His eyes widened seeing Geet coming. "chachi stop,my marbles were rolling everywhere. Let me collect them." He knew she might falls down if any marbel came under her feet.
Geet alerts with his warning and glued on her place. Quickly he start collecting his marbles and placing them in his pocket. Meantime Maan to arrived from his office. He was busy on his call. Parth and Geet called him several times to alert but he avoided both's voice. He just wanted to ignore both. Not In a mood to hear their any demands. He walked in without glancing at the floor. And exactly that happened what Geet and Part afraid of. He placed his foot on two marbles and scattered on floor with a sharp and loud sound. His whole body jerked. Just don't able to think what exactly happened to him in a swift moment. He was blank for a while.
Though Geet and Parth tried harder but their laugh come out. Both laughing at him full on. Even all servants but in muffled way. When he got his senses back,he glared all around. Parth quickly run and hide behind Geet. Vinny ran to help him. Maan stepped towards them and glared him furiously. He really want to hit Parth but he was in Geet's protection. She hided him.
"Geet ise sir pe mat chadao. What if you fall?" Maan growled.
"sir..." She addressed then alert. "dekhiye galti apki hai. Parth ne mujhe pehle hi alert kar diya tha. Or hum dono apko b kab se bula rahe the par aap hum dono ki baat sun hi nahi rahe the. You are so much busy on your call. So please mere bachhe ko na daantiye." Geet stared in his angry eyes. Its true his anger was enough to trembled her and she is trembling right now,but when it comes to Parth's safty,she definitely turned into a tigress.
"Geet..." Maan roared.
"aap ise kuchh nahi kahege. Bachha hai khelega hi. Ab apki tarah files me to busy nahi ho skata na." She defends him.
"to bahar khele garden me." Maan argued.
"aap ise bahar ghumane le chahiye. Wo to aap karenge nahi bas order dete rehte ho." Geet again trapped him in his own words. Innocently she was again won over his ignorance plan.
"i dont have a time to baby sit." he tried.
"ok no problem. I will take him to mall." Geet told his decision which rosed his worry more. Mall,a place full of mob. He concerned about his baby's safty.
"no you won't." he commands.
"aap usko ghar pe nahi khelne dete,bahar nahi leke jana chahte. I want to mujhe b rok rahe hai. Its not fair." Geet rosed her voice and burst in a go.
Maan was fuming badly and cursing the moment he allowed that little devil in his house. "ok fine. I will take him to mall. Now happy" he asked in frustration and she shook her head with a smile.
