Sam looked at her puzzled thinking why this Jr wanted to ask about MK Sir .

Sam: MS Khurana ?? , what u heard ?

Geet: aammm,, he was a researcher in this med college nd left his work in mid.

Sam: yes u r right ,, he was a hard luck person ,, lost everything even his normal life too then what was that research work , all went in vain ,, he met with an a******* ,, Sam sighed sadly .

Geet: but there wr few more in that batch they cd carry forward his work , after all they wr in same batch .

Sam: who cn force if some one didn't want to do so ? everyone is free to take decision for their work nd I didn't know much about that why nd what happened ,, it was all dept issues ,, why r u interested in Dr Khurana's work ?

Geet: aamm,, actually I heard from a Sr that he was in same lab where i'm working nd u wr also knew him well.

Sam looked at her suspicious : what do u mean I knew him well ,, many knew him ,, ask to them who wr close to him nd worked with him .

Geet: sorry , if my words hurt u , but who wr they ?

Sam looked straight back to geet nd replied with a smirk : Dr Nayantara nd Dr Dev Mahajan ,, u r doing ur research under his supervision in same lab .

Geet looked back nd find Dr Dev Mahajan lil away from them nd he was looking at them with suspicious... S***,, ho gaya panga ,, esne sun liya to aur tewar dikhayega ,, giving them a hard look Dr Dev went from there .

Geet: Ma'n sorry to bother u ,, one more thing ,, what had happened with Dr Khurana's work ? Did he withdraw from his work nd left d insti ?

Sam: sorry I don't have any knowledge but he never show his face after that a****** nd not any report ,, u cn check from admin dept if u r very curious .

Geet: OK thank a lot ma'am ,, nd sorry to kill or time .

Sam: it's OK , but I suggest u pay attention in ur work not in others .

Geet came back in her room decided to enquire from admin office ,, she was puzzled why sameera giving hard look to Dr Dev ,, she was sure there was bitterness between in those batchies , but she cn dig that ,, they wr very Sr nd now her prof ,, after rubbing her mind on few possibilities she diverted her mind nd got busy in her study .

Next day she went to admin dept nd choose an old clerk to ask,, reason ,, he was old nd working from long time nd deffo had d knowledge of all d rules nd terms ,, he was slow in his work nd interested in passing time ,, Geet wished him nd requested to give her some info ,, he reluctantly agreed after getting a bribe ,, Geet asked about rules nd terms for gap years ,, he thought for a while nd told her few terms , then Geet asked on d base of medical terms ,, he gave few +ive replies which lit Geet face ,, but she was unknown what steps nd formalities maan nd his family took after leaving his insti .

Geet made her mind to go thorough in this matter nd decided to ask from DM after that she cd find some ways to get more enquiry ,, she knew that she was doing this only for her interest ,, Maan's views nd interest wr no where near her thoughts ,, she knew she cdn't talk to him regarding his work ,, it was impossible in current situation ,, he didn't like her presence in KC then talking to him on his research means jumping in an active volcano .

A smile crept on Geet face thinking about Maan nd his rude behaviour nd mumbled ... Bhasmasur ,, she decided to visit DM on coming Sunday ,, she remembered that she didn't talk to DM from last 2-3 days , even DM too didn'd call her .. Why ? Sab theek to hei na ? She got worried nd at once called DM who pic her call after few rings .

DM: hello Geet ,, yaad aa gai aapko humari ?

Geet: Hello DM ,, sorry I was very busy nd forgot , i'm really very sorry ,, aap thekk hei na ?

DM : haan hum theek hei beta ,, aur tum?

Geet: i m too , nd how is ur akdoo G Son?

DM laughed : he is also fine , his Dad is here from last week ,, when r u coming to meet us ,, Yash also wants to meet u beta .

Geet smiled: DM waise to us Bhasmasur ko mera aana pasand nahi , but in coming Sunday i'll surly come to meet u .

DM: usme to abhi 3 din hei ,, pahale nahi aa sakti beta ,, yash to tour per rahaty hei ,, pata nahi kab chale jayen ..?

Geet: sorry DM , I cn't come ,, sunday sure .

DM: OK beta , i'll wait .

Geet: bye DM .

DM : bye nd don't forget to call me.

Days started slipping ,, Geet was busy in her study , experiments nd written work ,, she was unaware that a pair of eyes wr scanning her most of d time from distance ,, there wr expressions of anger on d face nd a tint of lechery in d eyes.

Geet was facing d same prob regarding her thesis but she was stunned when Dr dev taunted her indirectly for talking to Sameera , though she was thinking that he wd deffo remark if he had heard her convo with Sam ,, she didn't react nd listened quietly with blank face like she was not affected with his words.

Dr Dev: months passed nd not much progress in ur work Dr Geet Singh ( he stretched her name) roaming uselessly nd digging some one's roots is not d part of ur research ,, change d topic or idea to remain in research if u r not interested ,, better u give ur output in ur work which cn impress ur mentor .

Geet: OK sir , i'll try few more experiments to get more close results .

Dr Dev: that'll be good for u ,, I have marked ur pages where u need more study nd research.

Geet: thanku sir , may I leave now ?

Dr Dev: yes u cn , what's d use to make u sit here ( he glared at her ) ,, there r others who need checking nd have some interest in their work ,, leave.

Geet was tensed nd decided to visit Sai temple next day (Sunday) for meditation nd then to DM ,, she wanted a day break to relax her .
