PART 23
" Geet is everything alright??" vihang repeated after a minute to which she just nodded...
They were in car driving back home... Vihang was tensed the sorrow and grief on Geet's face was clearly visible but there was some sort of solidity too..
As soon as they reached.. geet climbed down..and went straight in her room banging the door behind her..
" sab kuch toh theek tha phir geet ko achanak kya hogaya.. something is wrong.." Vihang stared at the closed door wondering whats happening with her..
Inside geet slumped on the ground... with tears spilling her eyes..
" babaji.. who mujh se pyar kabhi nahi karenge.. he loves samira... who...mujh...se..." she clenched her eyes throwing her glasses...off..
Today the little hope within her had died.. once again.. She never expected maan to love her back..but now knowing that he loves samira and is in a relationship with her.. was unbearable for her..
" babaaji... mere sath aisa kyu kiya aapne... kyu..babaji..." She screamed.. dugging her face in between her knees..crying out loud..
Her cries were so loud that vihang could hear the, behind close doors.. This alarmed vihang .. he immediately reached near the door and called her..
" geeet geettt " When he got no response.. he got more worried..
He called up Rk and told him geet's sudden breakdown.. Rk paniced.. and told vihang to ask geet call him..on skype..
" Geet geeet mamu ka phone hai he wants to talk to you.. geet are u listening...?? He banged the door..
He was just anticipating she would now open the door.. and she did.! 5 minutes later.. she unbolted the door...and stood before him with red eyes..
" geet who... Mamu.. ko... tumse..baat.." her next action stunned him... She moved outside grabbed the laptop and then shut the door..
She wiped her eyes one last time..composing herself and took in a deep breath... before switching on skype
" mishty..." Rk whimpered... looking at her face..
" sir..." she curled her lips to..fake a smile..
" mishty kya hua...tumhe...you look distressed?" Rk groaned... discovering her worn out state..
" n..nothing sir.. i..i m fine..." She pushed her glasses.. swallowing thickly
" geet don't lie to me... Mujhe saaf dikh raha hai... that u were crying ur glasses cant hide ur red and puffy eyes.. and I m ur dad I can very well make out ur condition..."
Geet lowered her face... and clinched her eyes.. She didn't wanted to burden Rk with her problems... their relationship can never be mended...now that she ahs accepted the truth.. she wont let RK suffer coz of her.. He wasn't aware that maan was in love with samira...
" mishty tumhe meri kasam.. agar tumne mujeh nahi bataya toh I wont take my medicines... Aur next flight pakad k ill be in Zurich..."
When she still did not raise her face.. Rk saddned and replied " shayad tumne kabhi mujhe apna pita manna hi nahi tha..isliye tum meri baat..."
" nai... Si..siirrr.." geet looked up with tears...
" Ek aap hi ho..meri is zindagi mai joh... mujhe sabse zayda anmol hai...' She whimpered ..
" phir mujhe nahi bataogi kya hua..?"
" kya baatua...yeh..ki.. ek baar phir..mera dil tut gaya..." her voice turned heavy... and she gapsed... clutching her chest
" babaji..ne.. meri kismet mai..khushi likhi hi nahi hai...ssirr..."
Rk was baffled watching her cry so hysterically...
" mishtyyy " Rk groaned..
" Maan sir mujh se pyar nahi..karenge.. si...siirrr...kabhi bhi..." She shook her head... continuously crying ..
" lekin..geet who..aisa..kyu.."
" who..samira se..pyar karte hai...sirr...Humari shaddi unke liye isliye maiine nai lagti hai... Who samira se..." She closed her eyes...In pain..
Rk widened his eyes... he never expected geet to find out the truth... He knew it will shattered her..
He couldn't see her so devastated ...So he blurted...
" mishty don't cry baby but he doesn't love her..usse bas..."
Geet raised...staring RK stunned...
RK closed his eyes... I shouldn't have said this..
" aaap..aapko..pata tha..ki... maaan...sir... samiraa...se..." she was flabbergasted .. she couldn't fathom Rk would hide this truth form her..
Rk shool his head...but before he could respond.. Geet cut him off
" aapko pata tha..aapne..mujh se yeh..baat chupayi...aap ne mujhe jhoot kaha how can u not share this truth with me... and..inspite of knowing this u got us married...sir...??" Her voice was shaky... The person she trusted more than her life... hid the biggest truth of her life...
This was Rk..whom she considered her god...and he lied to her??
" geet maine..chupaya nai..mai bas..isliye..." Geet raised her hand... her chin trembling and face reflecting hurt ... She was today in all sense alone.. its was not only her trust but her faith in Rk which she always abides
Rk's heart went down seeing her indifference... He had unknowingly hurted her...
His eyes turned moist... " mishtyyy" he uttered slowly his ..voice was full of remorse..
" I did not knw u could do this to me.. sir aaap...ne..." she sobbed and shut the lappy...
Here Rk felt defeated , subdued... The pain he had caused to his mishty was consuming him

Later at night maan arrived .. he had a long day..with danny.. He stretched his arms... and walked...upstairs...
He turned towards his room and then halted...
chamsish..." He muttered recalling her teary face...
He swiftly turned.. and walked towards her room... deciding to check on her...
" use samira k bare mai aise pata chala.." he thought whereas his mind was lingering around her reaction.. hoping she is alright...
His was imposing his theory that.. he just wanted to confirm whether she wont reveal this to RK...
Although his heart was thinking otherwise... He knocked the door... and waited for her to open up..
He frowned when she did not open the door..And once again knocked..
Inside geet was laying like there with sad eyes gazing outside the window... She dint even realize some one was knocking the door..
Maan groaned in frustration as she dint respond...and was about to..roar ...when Vihang interrupted him..
" maan what u doing here...at this time??"
Maan huffed closing his eye and turned to vihang..
Vihang perked up his brow staring him curiously
" who.. I was..just..here...to ..to...ha.. to tell her be ready on time we have important meetings lined up for tom..." He sighed in relief..
" ohh..." Vihang..muttered..amusingly
" she is asleep maan... I guess u too should get going..." He implied..though he knew maan wanted to meet her for other reasons.. But now.. geet was in wrecked state...
" ah.. yes..." maan cursed vihang to arrive at this moment..
" good night..." he muttered walking past vihang...and sauntering towards his room..
" yeh vihaang na.. ab chasmish se baat karne k liye bhi mujhe iski permission leni padegi.." He growled and scurried inside...
Vihang..sighed heavily glancing at geet's door..
" is waqt geet ko khud ki zayda zarrurt hai..maan ... I knw u have began to care for her.. But for now she just needs herself to overcome this... "

" kaha thi tum..tumhe pata hai..mai tumhare liye kabse pareshan ho raha tha..." He gritted holding her shoulders..
Geet pressed her lips tightly and jerked his hands..forcefully making him shock..
