EPILOGUE

Six months, twelve days, sixty minutes and five seconds that was the total time that maan had taken to find his baby's mother.. The day she left dhruv without even saying anything yet she conveyed her heart to him, his eyes were moist, and someone can love his baby more than her life was not any amazement for him but the ultimate gift for his dhruv from the god... Or say her babaji.. maan had heard her ample of time saying babaji and this strange trait his little cherub has already taken from his mother..Sometimes his eyes used to wonder in the yearn to see his mother but that yearning was just turning into another longing day by day.. maan knew that he can manage baby's upbringing with all his efforts but the love that she always bestowed on him , maan cannot even fulfill that void in dhruv's life..

Maan looked at the sleeping baby who just had drifted in his peaceful slumber after months; the flight just announced that they had reached, maan took the sleepy baby in his arms and baby snuggled feeling his father's protective embrace.. Things were really changed but maan knew that it's his baby who can bring everything on track.. And even if he had to give up his custody to his mother, he will do...

She was sitting alone in the park.. no it was not the same park , but it was very much like that where she saw her baby for the first time and after she came from Delhi here she never contacted anyone who were related to her past..No one even nidhi , her friend didn't knew her whereabouts. Geet had changed a lot and she was living alone with a job that was enough to fulfill her basic needs.. She never knew that she will be this much attached to a small baby, but the affection and love she felt cannot be erased from her heart.. She was living in a small flat that was rented and her job was enough to make her survive..her eyes always tries to find that lost happiness , that twinkle that she would have after seeing the little one smile , his love was enough for her , she had thought that she would live alone with his memories but with each passing day , she was getting weak , her resolve was breaking bit by bit.. Her heart was already feeling the immense pain by living away from her..

She still didn't understand what relation she shared with baby but whatever it was she couldn't help but to feel the serenity of that pious relation..

Geet was sitting alone and it was evening when she felt two soft hands holding her..Once she felt that she was hallucinating,, her eyes looked at the small baby who was looking at he with a toothy smile.. There were only two teeth in front and the way baby was wrapped in a blue sweater and small pants she loved how he was looking at her.. There was a glow that failed to notice, she looked at him again and then talked with her babaji..

Geet : babaji , whose baby is this.. Why is he here...Where are his parents, how can his parents be so careless..

Baby looked at geet and giggled he followed his mother and looked above and his hands were fisting her soft dupatta , just like her baby used to do.. geet smiled at him and then she tried to free her dupatta but like baby understood her intention of leaving him again he glared at her with his dark colored eyes and geet chuckled.. She held him in her arms and kissed his cheeks.. Baby enveloped his arms around her neck and kissed her cheeks.. His warm tongue touched her and tears flowed out of her eyes.. she was feeling a weird sensation as she used to feel when her baby used to touch her , his unique love... she slowly let him down and walked away leaving the baby..

Maan who was seeing the commotion came and took baby in his arms...baby was son the verge of crying..dhruv was not that much changed that geet couldn't recognize him but her heart was struggling to shut each and every emotion that she just kept for HER baby.. She could have recognized him if she had looked at him intently but she was so lost in her thoughts, the dual thoughts which were comparing her baby with the little baby boy ...

Maan wiped those small tears and consoled his little boy who was much angry and crying at his mother's ignorance..

Maan ; shh..shona.. We will get your ma back.. Baby nodded and hug his dad.. He love his father and mother dearly, but is fate Is written with struggles..

maan had been talking with baby showing her geet's photo that was in the employee's record and one picture that he had in his cell phone of young mother and her little cherub.. maan didn't let baby forget his mother and before he showed her geet in park maan had taught her how to speak but baby didn't speak clearly till now.. He will say and then will giggle.. His naughtiness was at its peak with his dad and maan was having a bliss in his life but the one he misses was geet ..

Though they were not bonded with any relation still they were bonded with the little soul..

Ma...ma... said the little one and geet heard her, her heart felt calm...but she was not ready to agree to her heart..

Geet st : no..it can't be my baby ..How can he be here.. She looked around and found the same baby..This time he was running and geet feared that he would fall, she immediately held him and he pouted..

Baby: ma..ma... he said in between short intervals and she saw maan behind , he was looking at the two..Baby was busy hugging her and this time his hold was protective..it was the moment geet left her all inhibitions and loved her baby like no tomorrow.. She kissed his face hugged him..He was looking handsome.. She smiled and kissed his small palms.. Both were having their own moment when dhruv broke the trance that was created by him only..

He stretched his hand and called maan..

Dhruv : da... Ma.. He pointed at geet and maan nodded coming closer to them... He didn't knew why he was restless all these days but seeing the serene sight before him, he was felling light and blessed.. His baby loved by the one who truly deserved him.. maan knew what all geet did for her son.. Her all sacrifices her love, her decisions and her anger all were justified ...

Geet : sir,, you here.. geet finally asked wiping her tears .. maan looked at them and baby was so much engrossed in his mother..geet was looking at maan and baby made her look at him and cuddled more into her..

Maan ; I had to come geet.. Baby can't live without his mother... Why didn't you talked with me geet.. I may be dhruv's biological father but you are his mother and will always be.. He can never live without you..

Geet looked at baby and she knew that her insecurities were more than anything.. She kissed him engulfing him and he smiled and snuggled into her..Her every fiber was just saying how much she missed this little soul..She had forgotten to live without him.. He was the reason of her living and she left her breath..

Maan was about to leave when he found her holding his hand.. maan knew this from the start that this will be difficult but he had to give her time and only with baby she can be happy..He had panicked when he didn't found about her whereabouts but ultimately he did and found his little one's soul..

Geet : will you marry me for our baby.. I can't live without baby...her voice cracked and he was frozen, the words he never expected.. Their love for their child was immeasurable and their relation was with him and was for him..

Maan nodded and enveloped his small family with his baby already frowning and holding his mother protectively and possessively..

REGARDING THREAD 4 : I have opened that thread not for this epilogue but for an alternative end that will be in the form of a new story with same base concept with some chapters of this..Mainly while I was thinking of this I had thought to write two different plots..And that will be a love story mainly.. That is not in this but readers mistook that alternate ending this one..

So now as I think all of you will be satisfied with this..i will drop the idea of writing that and that thread will be closed..
