Manu played for few time with Maan after dinner nd Geet finished her work ,, she was waiting when Maan left for his place ,, she cn't even say him to go ,, how cd she ,, after all he was like a family nd d son of her God father ,, she spent yrs in their home nd she lived in KM with her son like a family member ,, making Manu sleep in her lap she tried to remind him .

Geet: aauummm,, wo where is ur new house mr Khurana?

Maan: that was just 2 lanes before this lane ,, near d cent markt place .

Geet: O ,, that good , nd how u manage their alone ?

Maan: aauumm, there is a servant for few hr in eve for work nd rest i'll manage .

Manu: mommy , uncle won't live with manu ?

Geet became speechless what to say ? they lived in KM , but she was hesitating to keep him in her home for long ,, Maan understood her dilemma .
Maan: No baby ,, my co gave me a home to live nd work .

Geet: Manu , sleep baby ,, no more talk.( she started patted her head slowly to make him sleep)

Geet: if u need any help u cn tell me Mr Khurana ,, it doesn't look nice that u faced troubles when i'm here ,, I don't want to make uncle nd aunty worried for u when i'm here.

Maan: I know Geet , u cn do anything for them ,, thanks a lot .

Geet: i'm obliged ,, ur parents too did a lot for me nd made my future .

Maan: that's why u returned that money which dad gave u when u came here ,, he was hurt Geet ,, why did u do that ?

Geet looked down ,, she knew she had to face this q from Yash nd Rashi too ,, but she was helpless at her place too ,, she cdn't take that money ,, d timely help was enough for her .

Maan: Geet , time change nd fix many things ,, u know that nd experienced that ,, u r a mother now nd faced lots of changes in life .

Geet: hummm,, nd witnessed many changes in u nd ur family too .

Maan looked down knowing where she was indicating ,, not mom n dad's but she was surly surprized with his changed behaviour for her ,, she was getting right but didn't know d fact behind this change .

Manu slept nd Geet excused her to make him sleep in d bedroom ,, she was waiting when he said to leave for his house ? She was back after settling sleeping manu in his baby cot ,, to know his intention she asked .

Geet: do u want some coffee or anything ?

Maan who was searching d proper chance to talk her,, he waited for manu to sleep ,, he nodded in a yes nd Geet went in d kitchen ,, he didn't want coffee but to boost his courage he want a platform ,, his heartbeats wr uneven nd felt churn in his stomach fearing Geet's reaction ,, Geet was back in few min nd handed him d mug of hot brewing black coffee nd sat opposite to him nd started sipping her ,, Maan took few sips nd cleared his throat .

Maan: i'm sorry but I want to ask u something.

Geet: what ?

Maan: wo ,, Geet it's related to manu ,, who is manu's father ?

Geet became numb ,, she was staring at him ... Why again he started thes Qs ?she didn't reply nd trying to find proper ans for his Q .

Maan: I know it's hurting u but there wr many things which forced me to ask .. who is manu's dad nd where is he?

Geet gulped nd composed herself: mr Khurana I told u earlier that I don't want to talk on this matter , so pleezz.

Maan: Geet it's imp for me ,, ur lies forced me to ask about this .

Geet (lil angry) : my lies ,, nd when I lied mr Khurana ?

Maan: Geet u said that Manu is 2yr old but he is more then 2^nd half ,, I have his DOB .

Geet gulped hard but reply curtly: what big in that mr Khurana ,, I casually replied ,, if some one ask u about ur age, will u give ur full age means ur years , months , days nd hrs ? Why it matters to u ?

Maan: Geet his age showing that u wr ,, ,,, I mean ,, when u came US u wr preg...

Geet cleared her throat : mr Khurana ,, that was my past nd very painful too so plzz don't try to dig d roots ,,these r very personal Qs nd I don't want to share with any one .

Geet: no,, u don't have to know ,, this is my life nd I don't like if abybody intrude in it .
