I Hate You Mean I love You (Season 2)

Part 5

Geet was sitting inside her room after her dinner, looking at the clock which showed 10.30, and Geet looked out to find the darkness covered up, she wasn't able to sit or sleep or do anything, after Maan's visit to her school, Geet was so worried and upset and when she went towards the dam site after the school he was not there too, which made her more upset, "Didi" Rachi voice pulled her back to reality and Geet looked at her,

"What happened, Di, looking so tired" Rachi asked, "oh, actually," Geet started and stopped and went and locked the door behind them and pulled Rachi inside her room and stood there holding hands, "Rachi, oh Maan na, he came to our school today" Geet said shocking Rachi, "what, why" Rachi asked shocked, "oh to convince me for the fight we had yesterday night" Geet said shocking Rachi more, "What, how, I mean, where did you meet him yesterday, did he come here again," Rachi asked freaking out,

"No, oh, I went to his house to convince him," Geet said making Rachi frozen up, "Baba ji, what have you done Geet di, do you have any idea what will happen if Breej Veer ji finds it out, he will kill you, did you forget what happened last time," Rachi said freaking out, "Yes, but nothing happened right, and you were only telling me that he is poor, good, this and that, so I felt bad and so went to meet him and we ended up fighting again,"

"So he came to convince me, but I was very anger with Breej Veer ji and I poured out my anger on Maan and he is again upset with me, and he didn't come to the dam site today, I think this time it was a bit too much" Geet said looking down, "Di, I really don't understand you guys, I mean, you fight and you are concerned of him so much that you went to see him at night even without thinking for Breej Veer ji,"

"And he, came to our school, without even thinking what will happen if he is caught" Rachi said tensed, "and even after risking your life's to meet each other, you only fight up when you guys met" Rachi said shaking her head, "What to do Rachi, it's either of us are not ready to give up our ego's" Geet said accepting the truth, "you know na, then go and tell him, you give up your ego a bit, at least next time" Rachi said, and Geet nodded an ok, "Ok Rachi, you go to your room and sleep on" Geet said and Rachi nodded up,

"Good Night Geet di, can sleep a bit longer tomorrow morning, as we are on leave" Rachi said as she went away, Geet brain kicked up and her eyes went wide, as Geet locked the door behind her, "Baba ji, I can't go to school till the Holi ends and then how will I go to the dam site nor how will I convince him, he is so anger and if I didn't go and convince him, then" Geet thought as she turned tensed and sat on the bed,

Geet didn't sleep that night, she was thinking how to meet Maan, and totally confused, "will go and meet him now" Geet thought but stopped, "no Baba ji, what if something happened as last time, we just escaped from Veer ji's friends, and now Maan is too anger, that he even will call my Veer ji and tell him, Geet there is no other go, will wait till tomorrow" Geet thought and her eyes welled up slowly,

"Baba ji, please, do something and get me my chance to meet Maan" Geet prayed and went to her bed and slept off, thinking about Maan,

Morning sun raised up and filled the Handa Mansion with its light, Geet got up and got ready and came out and prayed and went and sat in the hall, "Geet, you got up so early" Geet's mom asked as she saw her on the hall, "Today you are not going to the school na, you could have slept up a bit more na," Geet's mom asked, Geet was so upset now as she don't know how she will meet Maan, and that was the only thing in her mind,

"If you want you can go and rest for some more time, by the way, Dhar ji, Breej, your aunty, uncle and your papa everyone gone out for some important work and will come only in the evening" Geet's mom said and Geet's face lighted up with a smile, "what, that means no one in home" Geet asked and Geet's mom nodded a yes, "as they won't come for lunch, there is no much work in kitchen too," Geet's mom said, "Thank you Baba ji, thank you so much, now, please give me an reason to go out please" Geet prayed,

Geet and Rachi was roaming up in the terrace after their breakfast, "Rachi, how will I go and meet Maan now" Geet asked, "I don't know, di," Rachi said, "I am feeling so restless, until I speak with Maan, I can't feel good," Geet said, "Hmmm, now only Baba ji can help you" Rachi said, "Geet, Rachi" Geet's mom's voice came up and they both rushed down, "Maa," Geet came up and stood before her,

"Geet, will you do me an help dear" she asked and Geet nodded a yes, "Oh, Geet, some important guests are coming to our house today, and they will stay with us till Holi, so I have asked some women to clean our guest house for them to stay, as you and Rachi are home, why don't you go and supervise them," Geet's mom said and Geet smiled big and went and hugged her mom, "Thank you mom" Geet said hugging her tight,

"Geet, Thank you, for what dear" Geet's mom asked and Geet bit her lips, "Oh, Maa, Oh, actually just now Rachi and I was speaking that we are bored, and you said this, so only" Geet said, "Silly girl, go now, and make sure they clean properly," Geet's mom said and Geet nodded big and soon she and Rachi went up to their guest house, "Geet di, who is coming" Rachi asked, "I don't know, well now I don't want to think about that too, Rachi, you can take care na, I will go and meet Maan and come," Geet said as they reached the guest house,

"As if you are going to stop yourself if I say an no, go on, but atleast now don't end up fighting, ok, please, atleast for me, I am tired of your talks" Rachi said and Geet pinched her cheeks, "No my dear Rachi," She said and rushed away from there, and Rachi went inside the guest house,

Geet stopped short as she saw Maan in his field, and she looked around to find he was alone and no one was nearby, "Thank you Baba ji, now I don't have to walk up all the way up there" Geet thought and calmed herself and went towards him, "Geet, whatever he says don't get anger, ok, you should not fight, you should not fight" Geet told herself and went up, "Maan" Geet called slowly as she reached him and Maan looked at her and turned around and went and jumped into his jeep,

"Maan" Geet called and Maan started his jeep, "Maan please" Geet said and Maan looked at her and turned off his jeep and got down, "What, now what complaint you have on me, and what's left for you to yell at me," Maan jumped at her his anger hovering his face, "Sorry" Geet said and Maan looked at her sharply, "Geet Handa and Sorry, wow," Maan said with a sadistic grin, "Yes, mistake was mine, so I need to ask sorry" Geet said slowly, and Maan turned a bit calm, "I don't want you to be upset" Geet said slowly,

"Great, you made me upset and you want me not to get upset, why this too only girls can do ah," Maan asked, "No, Maan please try to understand, it's not easy for me, to break out of my thoughts so soon, I had been with the guys who always dominate girls and I hated it and I hated the guys too" Geet said, "oh so you came here to say that you hate me because I am guy and your thoughts about an guys are always wrong," Maan said turning away from her,

"Maan, see what I said, you guys never let an girl speak her heart, you always wanted to conclude up," Geet said and Maan looked away his anger again raising up, "yes, I am too an arrogant, mean, rude guy, ok, so what now," Maan yelled out, "Maan I didn't mean like that, stop acting like an stupid" Geet yelled up, "Geet" Maan turned around and snapped an finger at her, but Geet thought he is gonna slap her and protected her face, and Maan saw her reaction and he felt even more pain,

"Geet, you are thinking me this cheap, that I would raise my hand against a girl," Geet slowly looked at Maan, who face was burning with anger yet there was an pain in it, "how much cheaper can you thinking about me" Maan asked and Geet shook her head a no, "Enough" Maan said and turned around and Geet caught his hand and stopped him, "Maan please, listen to me, I never thought you like that, my hearts knew how good you are but my mind is still trapped up with the fears" Geet said and Maan turned and looked at her,

His heart melted seeing her pained eyes, "It's not possible to change my notion in a single day, but I knew it doesn't suit you, I know you are different, a good guy, do you think if I had thought wrong about you, would I ever be able to come at night to your house, or even now, will be holding your hand," Geet asked, Maan turned around looking at her shining eyes, "then why Geet, why do you always speak like I am one of those guys who doesn't respect the girls and their feeling, I know I am not an soft spoke and sweet hearted like my papa, but still I am bad either,"

"I wouldn't have cared if someone had thought or said these things to me, but when you tell these, I can't just bare it," Maan said fully upset, "I know that Maan, I am sorry, for everything, I guess, I had made you upset so much," Geet said, Geet took a deep breath and looked up, "Maan, yes, I came to the dam site, just to met you, and I missed you so much in this six month," Geet said out clearly and seriously and Maan was sweetly surprised and shocked up by her statement, "this is what you wanted to hear from me right, and here it is, happy" she said looking deep into his eyes,

Geet then turned around and walked away leaving Maan in a sea of emotions inside him, he felt happy, and pain too, as he saw her walking away from him, Maan turned around and looked at the vacant place, "Geet is right, I am selfish, I am arrogant, I am no good than Breej, I hurt her up, I didn't try to understand her, I am so mean, I hate you Geet, I hate you for making me love you so much, that I am hating myself now" Maan said and he took his jeep and went away,

It turned evening and Rachi was worried about Geet, who was looking upset, and Rachi didn't know why, and she didn't get an change to asked her too, "Geet, Geet" Geet's mom called her and Geet too went towards her, "Geet, I forgot to get the sweets from Pammi's house, will you go and get it for me and come back before your Dhar ji comes back," she said and Geet too nodded up and went away, Geet was walking slowly, but stopped shocked to see Maan standing there,

Geet knew they were at the open road and anyone can see them so she thought it's good to move away, but Maan walked towards her and Geet got tensed seeing him, His face was calm and was with no reaction as usual, it was serious and hard, Geet couldn't get what he is feeling now and started walking backwards, Maan walked up towards her and Geet stopped short as she hit a tree behind her and she saw Maan came close to her, "Maan, please, go away" Geet said as she try to move and Maan blocked her way keeping his hand on the tree,

"Maan, I am no mood to argue or talk" Geet said and try to get away with the other side, but Maan blocked that way too, he trapped Geet inside his hands and Geet started to feel tensed and fear, "I am not here to argue and you no need to talk, but just listen to me" Maan said in his roaring voice making Geet to look at him, "Maan, please, someone might see us" Geet said, "I don't care," Maan said and stepped closer, "Maan" Geet looked shocked and was thinking what he is gonna say or do, "Geet, you told what was in your heart, now I need to tell mine" Maan said, "ok, will meet somewhere else, or I will come to your house, now let me go"

Geet tried to move up and Maan pushed her back to the tree, "Maan" Geet opened her mouth only to get Maan's strong hands on her lips, "Geet, listen" Maan said and Geet's eyes went wide with shock and she was having an temperature hike with his warm hands on her lips, "just two minutes and I promise you to let you go and ah, you better listen to me or else, someone might come and see us like this, understand" Maan asked and Maan felt her lips moving under his hand and he took away his hands,

And locked her in his hand cage again, Geet got nervous and was trembling up, "I missed you" Maan said and Geet stopped trembling and looked into his eyes immediately, "Yes, I missed you, I missed you so much, that I completed my nine months training within six months and came back to see you, I missed you Geet, and I never meant to upset you, never, and yes I wanted you to say that first, may be that was not right, I must have said that first, and yes, I will stand between you and Breej if he tries to harm you, I don't care who he is or what he is to you, I will not let anyone harm you,"

Maan then took his hands away, "that's what I wanted to say," Maan said and walked away, Geet was frozen up, she wanted to scream and jump in joy but her body was frozen up with joy, she can't believe what just happened, she knew Maan liked her as she like him but to hear it from him, was like an dream for her, Geet just leaned on the tree and was staring at the road which he went away, she was smiling up slowly and blushed up,

"Geet di" Rachi's voice pulled her to reality, "Rachi" Geet looked around, "what are you doing here, Chachi is getting tensed," Rachi said, "Baba ji, come on lets go and get the sweets soon" Geet said, "no need, Chachi said she will send someone else and she wanted you to come home now," Rachi said and Geet nodded up and went away, "Geet" Geet's mom breathed in relief seeing her, "where did you go," Geet's mom hovered up, "Maa, oh, I met an friend on the way, so ended up talking" Geet said looking down,

"Geet di, is that friend's name, Maan" Rachi whispered slowly into Geet's ear, "Shut up" Geet warned her and she went away smiling, "Geet get ready dear, the guests might be here any minute, you must look perfect" Geet's mom said with a big smile, "Why Maa and who is the guest" Geet asked puzzled, "Do you remember Devendra Singh?" Geet's mom asked and Geet started thinking, "Who" Geet asked again, "Devendra Singh, who went to London for studies,"

"Oh Dev," Geet said with a big smile, "Yes, he and his family are coming" Geet mom said, "Wow, really, all at a sudden, are they coming here for Holi" Geet asked puzzled yet happy to see everyone, "No, not only to celebrate Holi," Geet mom paused and Geet looked at her with an questioning look, "There are coming here to fix your marriage with him," Geet's mom said making Geet's heart to stop for a second, "What" she asked tears already forming in her eyes, "maa" Geet started,

"I know, your studies right, Dhar ji talked about that too, your marriage will happen after your final exams and you only have three months for it na, and after your marriage too you can continue your studies, Devendra's family doesn't have any problem with it" her mom said and Geet was out of words, her studies was the only reason she had in her hand and now that too was last, "Now get ready" she said and went away, leaving Geet alone,

"Baba ji, I will die, but will never marry another guy other than Maan, never" Geet said and started crying up,

"Dev" Geet called up slowly

"Tell me Geet" Dev said,

"The thing is" Geet started,

"Tell me" Dev encouraged

"oh, I can't marry you" Geet said slowly

"Oh, his name is Maan," Geet said,

"Breej" Dev shouted up immediately as she said Maan's name.
