Next day was quiet fruitful for all ,, Brij came with Shagun nd handed Dadima ,, he didn't talk much to Geet nd Geet too confine herself busy in work away from his sight ,, He spent few hr talked to Dadima nd left after lunch quietly ,, his visit was like a formality ,, there was no affection nd concern about Geet ,, after that Maan took Geet nd Dadima to mrkt ,, Dadima became tired after few hr nd she sat in a place (Ba *****) ordering a coffee for her,, Maan nd Geet wr in d big shop for choosing dresses for d main function ,, both saw many dresses , choose for both nd joined Dadima .

Days slipped,, Dev&NT wr arrived with their special guest Samaira , NT's ultra mod elder sis nd Dev's SIL ,, she was here to visit her sis nd few tourist places as NT said that they wr in Nainital a bful hill stn ,, she was 2 steps ahead of NT

,, At 1^st place Dadima didn't like her but she was Dev's SIL nd a guest of Khurana's so had to bear for few days ,, when she saw Maan at dinner time her eyes popped out seeing that hotty nd cursed herself that why she didn't come to meet him when he was in Canada ,, at dinner table her eyes wr x-rating Maan's body nd gulping her saliva along with her food ,, after serving dinner Maan called Geet to take her dinner with all ,, she sat near Maan nd Sam looked at her with jealous nd then to NT who just made a face ,, all wr having their meal with lil chitchat nd NT got d chance to spoil Geet's mood ,, Dev told her about d blast incident nd Geet's witnessing that .

NT: aree Geet Dadima ne bataya tha ki tum us din blast area mei thi ,, kya hua tha , tumne to sab apni aankhon se dekha hoga na , TV per to sab censored ker diya tha .

Geet's hand stopped at her place ,, Maan nd Dadima gave an angry glare to her looked at NT nd thought that she never left any chance to hurt anyone .

Maan: NT tumne news dekhi thi na bas tumhare GK ke liye wahi kaffi hei ,, baki janne ki jaroorat nahi hei .

Sam: what's wrong in that ,,she was d witnessed nd we want to know d facts ,, media too asked many things from eye witnesses .

NT: kaffi casualties hui hongi na , sab bada terrifying nd ...

Dadima : stop it ,, baad mei baat kerna abi dinner karo .

But Geet lost all her appetite ,, her eyes turned wet remembering d sights , she felt a churn in her tummy nd felt to puke everything , covering her mouth she rushed out from there ,, went to washroom nd puked out ,, tears rolled out from her eyes .

There Maan nd Dadima became angry nd both scold NT , why she raised d unpleasant topics at d time of dinner but she shrugged her shoulders carelessly like these things wr nothing to her ,, she was happy inwardly for disturbing Geet ,, it soothed her evil ego ,, Maan left from there at once angrily in search of Geet ,, he find her in washroom ,, held her from her shoulders nd help her in clean nd wipe her face , hugged her tightly to soothe her pain then brought her out on d terrace in open air to feel fresh ,, cupped Geet's face , wiped her wet cheeks with his thumbs nd nodded in a no .

Maan: bas Geet , rona nahi ,, mai tumhare liye paani lata hu.

Geet: Nahi , kahin matt jao ,, she hugged him nd cried out .

Maan: plzz, sona , rona nahi , (he cursed NT under his breath for disturbing her)

They remained like that for long ,, he was consoling her nd after few min she calm down but she was sobbing ,, they parted when they herd Dadima's voice in their room nd then she came on terrace searching them ,, Dadima too felt very bad seeing Geet ,, she was helpless , for d family she had to keep Dev&NT along them but that lady was really useless nd now her sis too with her ,, nonsense .

She too sat near Geet nd console her ,, Maan nd Dadima gave a helpless look to each other .

Dadima: Geet beta , ye sab baatyn to ab face kerni hi padengi ,, un families ka socho jo direct affected hein ,, hummm ,, wo sab bhi ess takleef ko jee rahe hei ,, u r lucky nd safe in ur family ,, many things r out of our control nd we cn only bear that bravely ,, now be brave nd face d reality , we r with u beta ,, Maan esse kuch kila do ,, hum bhejty hein

Geet: nahi , mujhe bhook nahi plzz Dadima .

Maan: i'll see Dadima , aap meds lo apni aur rest karo .

Dadima: hum le lenge .

Geet: mai deti hun , chalo .

Dadima: nahi beta hum le lenge ,, Maan take care of her nd make sure ye kuch kha le.

Maan: ji .

Seeing Geet lil relax Dadima came back to her room ,, she knew that with NT nd her SIS she need to be tough ,, there Maan was trying to boost Geet's mood .

Maan: Geet chalo tumhare liye kuch special banaty hei ,, bolo kya pasand hei ?

Geet: aap ku pareshan hoty hein ?

Maan: mujhe bhi khana hei , bhook lagi hei , aaj lunch bhi skip ho gaya .

Geet: kya , aapne lunch nahi kiya , ku?

Maan: wo mai N**** site per gaya tha aur late ho gaya , fir socha nyt mei tumhare hath ka milega , usse better kya ?

Geet: aap change karo , mai aapke liye lati hu .

Maan: tum sath do to lana , akele mai bhi nahi kahunga , soch lo .

Geet : aap conditions ku rakhty ho ?

Maan: tum meri baat jo nahi manti .

Geet: maine aapki kaun si baat nahi maani ? sab kuch waisa hi to hota hei jaisa aap chahaty hein .

Maan: to khana khao na mere sath , plzz ,, mai bhi sath aata hun help ke liye .

Geet: mai lati hu na .

Maan: nahi , dono chalty hein ., tum batana , mai karunga.

He brought her in d kitchen , gestured Nakul to go out nd made her sit on d platform ,, he checked nd served for both in a plate giving her smiles in between , both ate in kitchen nd he prepared coffee for him nd tea for her , poured in mugs nd handed her .

Maan: now let's go , we'll have it in d room .

Geet was awed with his care ,, he was doing everything to make her comfortable ,, she cn't overlook his efforts ,, he changed nd joined her ,, both sipped their hot beverage then he brought his office bag in her study nd finished some of their work together ,, he didn't leave her alone .

Next day was d day of all preparations ,, 1^st they set their dresses nd jewellery ,, NI wnted to go to club but Dadima refused strictly ,, At Eve Dadima called a girl for applying Mahandi , NT& Sam crazily applied on hands nd feet , but Geet had only on hands , though she was smiling but from her heart she was feeling lil glum remembering her marriage nd his refusal , a hollowness nd a feeling of incompletion was eating her ,, not only NT , Annie too was keeping fast nd Geet saw that how crazy they wr for d fast , but she was doing it like a duty ,, Maan came late after taking his dinner out ,, Geet scrubbed her dried heena nd got busy in her study to keep d mind set in a right place ,, Maan came , met with Dadima , who reminded him to keep him free next day after lunch , no meetings nd work allowed ,, he agreed nd came in his room peeped in d study room nd find Geet busy ,, he changed nd joined Geet in her room.
