Maan's molologue ...

She was in front of me but in a diff mould , totally opposite from that Geet which I thought for her nd I didn't know if Dadima knows this fact or not ,, in last few months Dadima didn't say anything about her even she always praised her nd trust her ,, it means Dadima didn't know about this deal of Geet nd most importantly from where she got this money to invest with Arjun ? What is running behind my back ? She never come in front of me, never ask anything to me , avoids me even that day when I Thanked her she replied me rudly .. Why? Today she didn't show that she knew me nd behaved like a stranger . What she wants ? Why she is not using Khurana surname ? Who is this Arjun nd why he was so close to Geet ? Maan a clear talk is must to clearfy all this but how I'll say this to Dadima that her sweet nd innocent Geet is going to sign a business deal with KC nd nobody in d house know this . I can't hide it nd i'll talk to Geet in front of all ,, usse sab kuch clear karna hi hoga .

Maan decided in his mind to open this fact nd went to KC office ,, where he slapped his head inwardly, his temper rose seeing d office ,, few employees wr chatting in a grp nd few wr busy on phone like they wr here to kill d time ,, he roared .

Maan: what d hell is going here ? R u on picnic in KC ?

All wr stunned at their place ,, they never thought that MSK cd be here so soon nd without information ,, all wr standing there with hanging head ,, Adi too sighed in disbelief .

Maan: u r not getting salaries for chatting here ,, this is my last warning to all of u if I find any carelessness in work he/she will be out form KC at once ,, now go back to ur work.

Maan came in his office which Dev & NT wr using in his absence but that was empty ,, he left a deep sigh closing his eyes in disappointment ,, went in nd ordered Adi to call d PS ,, he called Dev . ( he replied after few rings)

Dev: hello bro , how r u ?

Maan: Dev where r u ?

Dev: aammm,, we r in CCD , having coffee .

Maan: very good , I want u in office in five min .

Dev: bro r u in office ?

Maan: yes , unfortunatly ,, five min Dev .

Dev: yes bro .

Maan checked work of last 2-3 days , mails , bills nd reports ,, he checked d mail from d last Resort owner in which he informed about d selling of Resort nd mentioned d new owner's name Mr Arjun singh Rathod nd Mrs Geet singh ,, it was clear that Dev didn't read d mail properly ,, how careless he is nd even he didn't go to meet them when they called him ... hopeless .

Dev was there after 10 min ,, he wished Maan with a sheepish smile , NT followed him nd wished Maan too but Maan was in full rage nd didn't reply .

Maan: Adi go nd arrange a set of blue prints of Resort's plan for me ,, hummm ,, send a coffee for me nd took ur lunch after that , OK .

Adi understood nd went out ,, he came every time with Maan so knew everything ,, Maan gestured Dev to sit but he didn't say anything to NT ,, NT sat next to Dev annoyed.

Maan: so when u came in office in d morning ?

Dev: aammm near 11 am , why ? Is something wrong here ?

Maan huffed nd gave an angry glare to Dev .

Maan: u came near 11 nd went out before 2.00,, very punctual nd efficient ,, damnnn,, did u check d mails from last few days ?

Dev: yeah bro , I asked to PS nd she informed me who sent mails nd regarding what ?

Maan: means u didn't check nd read d mails personaly .

Dev: she told me nd I told her to reply them giving her d matter nd she took d print out to kept them in d respective folders for records .

Maan: this is ur way to work Dev, u didn't read d mails ,,, leave for now nd i'll talk to u at night in Dadima's presence to whom u demanded for independent office nd business ,, u never learn Dev , now give me reports of XYZ nd ABC projects .

Dev looked at NT nervously nd then to Maan ,, he was in a fix , how to explain that he was not giving proper attention on all works nd bearing NT's tenturms most of d time , in office too she distracted him with her nonsense talks .

Dev: NT , go nd bring d files plzz .

NT gave a glare to Dev : why should I ? call d PS she 'll bring .

Maan: NT don't u know about d reports , I think u came office daily with Dev ,, what u did here ? Come on give me reports nd to whom u signed d bills nd their ammounts.

NT: how I remember all d things , all records r in files nd u can check them .

Maan: did u check all d mails.

NT: no , it was PS's work to informed us ,, we read nd gave them replies .

Maan: OK , if PS is doing everything then i'll ask her ,, u both go home .

Dev: bro , but it's only 3 pm . ,, why so early ?

Maan: u both have lots of work to do till eve so start now , go nd meet me there ,, go.

Dev nd NT left from there confused nd Maan finished his work ,, contact in Delhi office took reports ,, gave instructions for further work ,, then he called on other branches ,, his rest of d day was full busy ,, he sent Adi to hotel nd himself went to their rest house * he met with Dadima , had his coffee nd went to his room to change ,, he knew Geet was not there ,, he placed his bag on sofa opened that, took out his casuals nd went to change .

At eve Geet entered d house nd went to meet Dadima 1^st , gave her d shawl which she bought for her ,, Dadima liked that very much nd thanked her then she told her that Maan has come nd he is in d room ,, go nd meet him , he was asking for u .

Geet's heart skipped many beats ,, she gulped hard , gave a fake smile to Dadima nd got up to go ,, she was going towards d room praying ... Babaji ab mai kya karu ,, kaise face karu Maan ko ,, wo ku mujhe puch rahe hein? wahan to muh tak nahi khola , yahan aaty hi Geet ke naam ka warrant nikal diya ,,,, yahan to ek hi room hei ,, mai kaise manage karugi ,, kahan jau ? She entered d room rolling her duppatta's corner nervously ,,, aauuchh,,, oops ,, she was going to fall but a strong hand gripped her hand nd pulled her towards him ,, she bumped again to a strong frame with a jerk ,, she clutched d fabric in her fist for support ,, everything happened in a blink ,, she was panting heavily clinging to that frame nd he was holding her from her shoulder nd waist .

Tum theek ho na Geet ?

She jerk opened her eyes , lifted her face nd looked at him listening his voice .
