Honestly there was so much happening in this chapter.

First, AHA! That was why Cutey bit Maan! Maan better start treating that puppy nicely now.

I love how Maan takes care of Geet. And I think you are right when u wrote in the earlier post that even though Geet does not remember Maan, his memory may be in her subconscious. Here I think she 'heard' him and she responded. Geet knows she is safe with Maan.

And Maan is learning more about Geet's past. I do not blame Maan for getting harsh with Geet. She needs to confront her past and deal with her fears.

I hope Maan's next step is to make Geet stronger. Because esp after reading the ending where her stepfather and the others have decided they are coming after Geet, she will need to face her fears.
