Aaj ek funny cheez hua ghar mein!

Few days back you know my mom fell down! She fell down while getting up at night for water and she lost balance just as she got up from the bed because of disorientation! And the same morning my dad lost his balance and almost fell down but was saved at last moment.

So nowadays daily night I stay awake till 1 with my ears alert at any noise from those two as due to old age they seem to loose balance a lot!

So the funny thing which happened today morning was: My dad woke me up at 10 and started scolding me for sleeping late. Now I love to sleep and would have slept till 12 if I could have! So dad continued to scold while I stared at him sleepily. Finally mum had enough of his scolding and decided to stop him. She knew I mainly stayed awake till 1 just because of them even if I feel sleepy which happened few days back!

So my dad said, "Tu kya watchman hai jo raat bhar jaagti hai?"

So my mom retorted and I quote "Abhi hum dono aise ghirte padte rahenge toh isko toh watchman banna hi padega na! Hum dono ko uthaane ke liye koi baaju waala aayega kya?"

I burst out laughing and mom joined me. Dad was just chup. Mummy ne dad ki bolti band karti! Because what mum had said was truth! Oh the expression on dad's face was so funny!

But then dad felt guilty for scolding me when he is part reason for me staying awake so then he went and roasted three bhuttas for me! Can you believe it? Three???? I am so full today ki pani puri mushkil se utra!

Yup!

Party tha! Party...

Arre! Dont talk about tips! If I start taking tips from her, I will be able to write a book!

She is amazing! The way she remains calm and practical at the face of any problem is mindblowing!

These few months after her retirement, I just observed her and was amazed by her thinking style! I have a bad habit of freaking out over smallest things but she... she remains calm at the largest problems! I was shocked by her calmness when Naani went into shock during my cuz wedding. The way my mom handled the situation without alerting anybody and with only me as help was simply awesome! I have calmed down a lot and stopped panicking on smallest things these days after observing and learning from her! If I understand human emotions, she is expert in it! She can calm anybody and charm everybody! I can do the same but I have inherited dad's emotional panicking too. 😆 So I panic first rather than be calm. Now I am learning to be calm and be rational rather than emotional in front of any problem by observing her!😳
