First of all let me wipe off the wide grin off my face long enough to type out a sensible enough comment.😃

This whole chapter was the dictionary meaning of the word 'Repartee'

The dictionary says repartee is a succession or interchange of clever retorts : amusing and usually light sparring with words.

It was also what you could call verbal fencing.

I have heard fencers yell out 'Engarde' in movies and then the fencing swords start swishing thorough the air at breathless speeds at the opponent. As I watched these two fence words I understood the breathless feeling. The feeling of waiting with baited breath as you read and hope that the whole chapter will be on par with the awesome zing that it starts with. And boy did you deliver👏👏👏

You know it's a fantastic read when the ending line leaves a warm sensation in the pit of your stomach and you go oh no it's over.

And maybe that's why I push the half eaten chocolate back at him casually and wait for him to take and finish it. If his care was hidden under his teasing, mine was under my indifference.

I think these lines are the essence of this whole story.

Just read all the parts.

Amazing writer u r. Could feel exactly as the character might feel with ur writing starting from laugh muffled with cough in elevator to the hug they shared. Her relationship with Adi is just so sweet and exactly wat happens with many of us. Growing with such a friend and wonder how we have not fallen for each other and still being besties. Maan and his songs are enough to irritate Geet. Waiting for next update.
