Such A Fantastic In creditable Yet Warm And Yearning Story

Sorry I could not comment on the other threads as they are closed .

Daadima had forced Maan into marriage but after a while he realized he can trust Daadima as she knows his taste and will not just chose a random girl , until he heard the ladies speaking about Geet and she is not educated , he felt cheated by Daadima as he wished for someone that would compliment him in every way and if he gets married to someone that only passed her 12th grade and does not know English than how will she stand next to him in front of the world .
Maan anyway married Geet while Geet is busy building dreams for her new life , Maan was angry he felt cheated .

On their first night he ask about her educational qualifications and told her he is leaving and she must not interfere in his life . Geet was pained , she was insulted and humiliated in love but she was forced to keep quiet in front of her family and left with Daadima to Delhi , there she met Annie and both Geet and Daadima did not tell Annie that Geet was married to Maan .
Annie and Geet became friends and she too joined college and slowly forgot about Maan until his return but what pained her more was the fact he did not remember her but again he did not see her face yes he too was wrong but he felt cheated with Daadima getting him married to someone that was not educated according to him .

Maan felt that Geet did not have any respect as she always replied him back and he felt as a guest she interfered in family matters but he could not understand why Daadima always stood strong to protect Geet and they all left to London .

Maan whenever he saw Geet at first he was irritated by her but he could not miss the fact that she was very beautiful and Geet never gave him any importance this he could not tolerate and slowly his mind was getting filled with thoughts about Geet .

In all this time he had forgotten himself that he was a married man but he slowly was getting attracted to her until he realized he actually loved her .

Maan could never understand why Geet always run away from when he knew she felt the same he felt until her first karwa chaut
when he saw her in a saree and marriage symbols he asked her if she is married and she confirmed that she was married , Maan was devastated but Daadima told him that he too never told Geet that he is married and Maan than only remembered that he was a married man .

Geet was in a bit of a problem when some guys tried to steal her mangelsutra and she would not let them have it and when Maan realized the wound on her neck was because she did not want to let go of her mangelsutra he thought about his wife and he thought whatever Geet's husband did to her he too did the same to his wife and he called Geet's home only to get a shock by her family that the woman he is in love with is his wife Geet .

Maan tried many ways to let Geet understand that he was sorry for whatever he did on their wedding night but she was nowhere ready to listen to him until Daadima and Annie finally left London so Geet and Maan can work on their married life and I think that was an awesome idea that they left and slowly Geet had no choice but she had to accept Maan as she always did love him .

The best part is that even though their marriage started off on a wrong foot but Maan truly feel in love with her

read all parts in a go..
nice characterisation of Geet..
hate dis coward Maan..
at last he realized his wives worth and
Geet too accepted his love.
loved daadimaa and Annie..

Hey sorry I'm a very late reader but came across it just recently through the favourite ff page.

May I say what a wonderful ff, amazing writing and great fun.

You've got your way with words, I've read fairytale ages back which was awesome as well

Initially i thought, how insensitive how can maan just leave his bride on the wedding night just because she can't speak English. Granted he wanted someone to match up to his standard but still it was a little mean. Though I understand him, but I get her better

She had been dreaming of him, and he turns out to be s jerk, how shocking but I liked how Geet pulled herself together and didn't let that misfortune affect the rest of her life

If maan can live his life then so should Geet. Although maybe dadima is partly to blame since she didn't tell maan anything about Geet but dadi knows him better 😛

I loved geets and Annis bonding, anni acting the way she did after she found out the half truth was justified any sister would but then she reacted perfectly once the whole truth was out

Maan falling for his wife unknown to him, awe how cute. And then the whole Geet and wife issue, great maan understood it because I sure didn't and I loved his explanation of no matter what he was ultimately going to fall for her 👏

Dadima I just love, I always fall for dadi and Geet oh yeah and maan 😉
Moving to London and their London eye date was cool

Pumpkin and Munchkin are my fav words and to use it for Geet awww. Now when ever I refer to pumpkin this ff would pop into my mind not that I mind at all 😆

Geet becoming independent is great, maan supporting his wife is absolute brilliant, great stuff

I liked how Geet didn't give in so easily although she loved maan like crazy, he'll value her more because of it 😉
