Here is it! Decide a place for the thing you generally tend to forget! For eg: i keep my eye liner right beside my face wash or I keep my cap right near the door. Make sure that you by heart it and repeat it five times when you decide the place!
And then, daily practise for a while to keep it there! For eg: i used always throw my cap anywhere but one day I took my cap and placed it on the table beside door and stared at it and fixed the image of cap on the table in my mind. For few days, you will have trouble to get your mind into this habit! You will keep it anywhere but the moment you find it lying around, take it and keep it in the place you decided. Once it is habituated to your brain to keep it there, you will do it absentmindedly too. For eg: Now I keep the cap at that place without even me remembering I kept it there and as it is programmed in my head, whenever I want it, my mind automatically supplies the pic of the table I kept it!
