Part 9

Khurana Mansion started to fill up with guests and friends and Dadi maa and Geet started to receive everyone and everyone who come there was only eyeing at Geet who was pretty as an angel, moving here and there, some thought, she might be the new bride for Maan and some thought she might be an relative, Dadi maa then called her friends and introduced Geet to them and said about Geet's past and her thought,

"Oh so poor, don't worry Savitri ji, we will surely say if we find an nice guy for her," they all said and then Dadi maa felt happy, after a long time, the mansion was so alive with so much of talking and laughing and Dadi maa liked this so much, Geet too was enjoying this new mood in the mansion, she was turning into an perfect host, she was looking after everyone with care and love, and many where impressed by her kind and caring attitude and she didn't speak much but just keep up an smile for all,

Maan's car stopped before the gate and as soon as he saw his Mansion lighted up in bright decoration lights, Maan knew that Naintara was right and his anger raised up to his head, Maan got of the car, rushed inside his mansion, for a second he got stuck seeing all the people gathered here around him, murmuring's talking's and slight laughter's everywhere just like that day, it all reminded him of his engagement day, he hated the feel he was having now,

Maan wanted to scream at everyone who were present here to get out, but he controlled and looked around for Dadi maa but his eyes only fall on to the girl in red, for a second her ethnic beauty caught his breathe and he stood there staring at her until she saw him, Geet felt and sudden fear as she saw him staring at her with his anger filled eyes and her heart trembled up, "Dadi maa said he will not come here now, But" Geet thought and decided to go and greet him,

Maan was shocked to see her walking towards him without any fear and it raised his anger more, "she is the only reason for the things I am facing now and that Naintara" Maan thought and question from media come into his mind and it added fuel to his anger, Geet went near him and before she could say anything, "I hate you" Maan said shocking Geet and Geet wasn't sure whether she heard him right, "I hate you to the core" Maan said again,

"Ji" Geet started to say something, but "Maan" Dadi maa's voice made them both turn around, "you are here," she asked shocked, "Maan, I am sorry, I thought you would be busy with your party tonight so only arranged for this puja, sorry Maan" Dadi maa said and he didn't even turn towards her, he was scared that his anger would hurt her if he speaks something out, Maan stood there looking at Geet, Geet too was looking at Maan not knowing why he said that he hate her, what did she do,

Dadi maa pulled Geet away from there and Geet still stared at him as she went behind him, "Geet lets start the puja" Dadi maa said and everyone started to pray, Dadi maa was doing Arti and everyone was praying but Geet can't Get Maan's words out of her mind and she can't find an reason for his anger, she slowly looked around to see Maan Staring at her and she too looked at him puzzled, "Geet" Dadi maa called her breaking her look and Geet turned around and Dadi maa gave her the Puja thali and Geet too got it,

Geet started doing the puja, but her heart was still on Maan's words, his words were clear and strong, "Geet, show the Arti to all" Dadi maa said and Geet too took the Arti thali and showed to everyone and deliberated she kept Maan the last as she was not ready to go before him again, as everyone had their turn Geet slowly went towards him and showed him the Thali and Maan looked with his burning look, Making her scared to death,

Maan wanted to scream at her and stop everything that's happening here, his anger was rising minute by minute turning his eyes red and his face hard, "Ji, Arti" Geet spoke finally in her soft trembling voice and Maan held the thali and kept his hands over the lighted diya, Geet first thought he would take his hands up, but he kept his palm close to the diya hurting himself, Geet got freaked out and looked at him,

Maan face showed no reaction, "Ji, Ji, what are you doing, doesn't it hurt" Geet asked looking at his strange behavior, "it's hurts but not more than the pain your presence here is giving me" Maan said between his teeth and Geet looked at him with her raising tears, "Ji, please" Geet begged but Maan didn't move his hand, "Get out of here, get out of my life, you will never get what you are trying to have, no," Maan said between his teeth, but Geet wasn't listening she was just seeing his hands,

Geet try to move the thali away and pull it from him, she was hurt more than she was thinking, she can't see his pain, her heart ached and she struggle to get the thali away and in that process she pulled the thali with a force and it fall down making everyone to look at the spot, and Geet looked at him, his anger burning even more now, Geet saw his palm burned and turn to touch his hands, "Get off me, don't you dare touch me again" Maan said pulling his hands away, "you are" Geet said looking at his hands with her tears rolling down, "Leave me alone, Get the hell out of here, now" Maan shouted freaking Geet out and Geet cried up, Maan then rushed away and Geet stood there with her tears and everyone there looked at the scene,

"Sorry everyone, Maan is having an bad day, that's why, everyone please go and have the dinner, thank you all for coming," Dadi maa said and Everyone went away towards the dining area and Geet was still standing there shocked and Dadi maa went towards her, "Geet, I am sorry, I am sorry for what Maan had done," Dadi maa said and Geet shook her head a no, "Please Dadi maa, don't say like that, please" Geet said slowly,

"Do know when his stone heart will start melting, I know he must have got back to his past unpleasant memories seeing the crowd, but it's not fair that he poured out his anger on you," Dadi maa said pained and Geet held her hands, "please Dadi maa, forget it," Geet said again, "No Geet, I will go and talk with Maan right now," Dadi maa said but Geet stopped her, "Please Dadi maa, he would not have done it purposefully, maybe he might have had an bad day like you said or some other tension, and whom did he yell at, me only na, it's ok, I don't mind,"

"He must be tensed and if you talk about this, he might get even more tensed, please Dadi maa Forget it, please" Geet said, and she was surprised by her own attitude, how could she thinking this much for an guy who insulted her like that, not that she is new to this kind of insults but still she was only worried about him and his pain and she didn't feel a bit of pain or hurt by his acts, all she worried was that he was hurt, he is in pain,

Dadi maa looked at Geet and held her face, "what will I say Geet, you are such an sweet angel and I hope Maan too understands you soon," Dadi maa said and hugged her and Geet too hugged her but her mind was still on Maan's burn in his palm,

Maan was standing in the hall in midst of the lights yet his eyes saw only darkness, that day was dazzling in his minds, "Maan Singh Khurana, the renowned businessman, who is also known for his limitless anger was claimed to be the reason for the dead of his on-to-be fiance, Naina, it's said that the girl was scared to hell to marry the anger dude and committed suicide" the media news ran across his mind, "Mr.Khurana, will you marry anyone else, what if they too run away or commit suicide seeing your anger attitude" the press questions surrounded his space,

Two years, it took two whole years for all those blames on him to subside, he could still see Naina's big eyes and scary face in his mind, and after that he never let any girl near him nor no one else came near him, every time Dadi maa brings a girl, his one act of anger would make them run and nothing went this big, now after a long time, again the same questions, and same blames, all because of this girl, the people who feared me had raised the voice to question me, because of this girl, Maan thought

His anger was burning inside him, he wished Dadi maa could understand this, Geet walked into the hall and saw Maan standing there with his hard face, staring at the blank space, and she walked near him, Maan felt her presence and looked at her, and turn around his eyes still shining up with anger, "what do you want" Maan asked and Geet slowly held his hand to apply the ointment she bought, but Maan pulled his hands so forcefully making her to fall on him,

Geet fell on him holding him and her tears rushed down from her eyes, pained by his anger and Maan stood still as an statue and Geet slowly pulled away from him, and looked into his anger filled red eyes, which takes life's away, "why can't you stay away from me," Maan's hard core voice send a shiver inside her, "why do you always fall on me" Maan asked between his teeth, staring straight into her eyes, "because you make me" Geet said slowly looking into his eyes, Maan looked at her silently for a minute and pulled her away from him and pushed her away,

"why are you so anger" Geet asked slowly, "what's the reason" Geet asked again, "Reason, reason, you are the reason, you, you are the only reason" Maan yelled shocking her up, "Me" Geet asked shocked, "but what did I do" Geet asked confused and hurt, "what you didn't do, and who asked you to come to my home," Maan yelled again, "Dadi maa" Geet said softly and Maan turned his look, "only reason I am this calm" Maan said in his low voice,

"Look, if you are here looking at this luxury life, I will give you that, I will get you anything you need, house, job, money, anything, I will give you whatever you need, just get out of here" Maan said burning in his anger, "No, you can't give me what I want" Geet said and Maan looked at her puzzled, "All I needed is only one thing, all my life I was aching for only one thing which god has taken away from my life long before, love and affection" Geet said, "Love, affection from me, no one gets it from me, I am heartless, I don't love, you are at a wrong place, so get out of here, that's the best option for you"

"Or else you will be facing insults like this always, so Get out" Maan yelled up, "I am not new to insults but I really don't know my presence is giving you this much pain and problem, I had never thought to hurt you, I am sorry, I am really sorry, don't worry I will not be seen in this Mansion, or come before your eyes from now," Geet said with a light smile, "if this was the problem, you could have just told me in the beginning even, I would have gone away rather than hurting you,"

Maan was shocked by her response and looked at her face which was revealing the truth in her heart, Geet then turned away leaving Maan in his shocked state and then turned around, and looked at Maan, who was standing there puzzled, "ji, I had accepted to go away na, atleast now you apply the ointment please, or else it will be paining" Geet said slowly, her affectionate voice made Maan melt abit and gave the ointment and Maan too got it, "please you go and sleep well, don't worry I will not be an problem for you from tomorrow, trust me" Geet said with a slight smile, making Maan to feel an guilt suddenly, "Good night" Geet said and went away,

Maan stood there holding the ointment, and he went to his room, and laid back on his bed, changing into his night dress, "did I over react" Maan thought as his mind played him her face, "that girl seems to understand, I should have talked to her first" Maan thought feeling an guilt, "hmmm, in the morning I will talk to her and Dadi maa together and will see what should have been done" Maan thought and slept off,

Maan stretched his arms as the sun light touched his face, Maan then sat up on his bed and remembered the last night, Maan then got of his bed and went to his wash room and refreshed himself and came out and went towards Geet's Room, as Maan went there, he found the door opened, but still he knocked on the door, "is it too early to talk" Maan thought and looked at the clock which showed 6.30.

Maan then slowly went inside and looked at the bed which was empty and then he turned around to see the cupboards empty and the room was empty completely, Maan heart started to raise, "don't worry I will not be seen in this Mansion, or come before your eyes from now" Geet's voice echoed in his mind, "she is really gone, that easily, without even inform to Dadi maa," Maan thought as he knew Dadi maa will only get up at 7.30 normally, Maan then turned silent and went to his room, "I must not have done like that, but still it all for good, let her go home and get life an easy, happy life" Maan thought,
