What's your name?? Maan asked the little girl who was waiting for the school bus ... She was so cute, with that hair tied up in a pony, her features clearly told that she hails from a rich family. His car broke down and he was waiting for another car to arrive. He was getting late for the meeting, it had been half an hour ... he was watching the child there standing. He couldn't stop himself from talking to her,

She sucked in her breath and looked at the other side not wanting to answer his question ... Tell me sweetheart what is your name?? He repeated with an intention to help her, she was an Indian too and he can say it with her appearance. Probably that had made him ask her problem ... Mama kehti hai ki ajnabee se baat nahi karna, She still looked at the way expecting the car to arrive.

I am Maan Singh Khurana ... Hi ... Maan offered his hand for a shake, and the girl stood there listening to his identity. By the time she could say something her car arrived for picking her which Maan didn't notice ... I guess you know me now, may I help you sweetheart?? The girl smiled hearing him, its my car ... saying she kissed Maan's cheek and ran to sit inside.

He watched them leave, touched with the way the girl had kissed him ... and when his car came Maan too left marking the landmark.

Next day, Maan met the same girl at the same spot ... Hi I am Maan he said giving the girl a chocolate.

I am khushi, she said giggling at him ... Maan gave the girl his address, he had recently shifted to London. He couldn't stay in Delhi ... The past haunted him ... those seven years were hell. But still he had to adjust due to his small business, he worked hard to make it a bigger one in seven years. When he could manage setting a branch overseas he had shifted to run away from the agony and hatred on someone since long.

The girl had become a part of his world now ... coming to London did help him. Khushi has actually got him happiness in his colorless life, the black and white shades began to be replaced with rainbow colors.

Maan uncle aapko hai ... mujhe first rank mila, she said it out with excitement holding onto the cell phone in her little hand. Maan wondered why she speaks in hindi so much even being settled in London. Brushing his thoughts he was about to say something when he heard a similar voice which was engraved in his heart ... Khusi, tu kise phone karti hai aaj kal?? Tu bohut badmaash ho gayi, she pulled the phone from Khushi's hand and cut the call.

Toh tu kya chahti hai?? Ki teri beti bhi sabse dur ho jaye aur akele rahe jaise tu rehti hai?? Pinky said standing behind Geet.

Pinky for god sake stop it ... I am fed up with your taunts, teri wajah se yeh khushi kharab ho rahi hai, Geet said irritated. And that was enough on Pinky to keep her mouth shut, she watched khushi leave to her bedroom feeling sad. This has been a routine for them, Pinky has long back realized that Geet can never love Khushi it was only her illusion and commenting on such issues only raise her anger further. She didn't want to hurt Geet telling her what she feels.

Geet received an emergency call to attend to her patient so she had to leave ... Being a doctor she keeps herself busy with patients and works. Thinking and bothering about Khushi is something out of her personal dairy, and this truth Pinky knew it ... though Geet wont admit it is true that she doesn't love Khushi.

Geet entered her clinic to check out the person who just met with accident, she blinked her eyes ... They went heavy. She stepped back and stood far away from the bed making out who it was, she gulped hard to muffle a silent cry which was nowhere to stop itself from bursting out.

Seven years ago,

Yeh bachpana hai Geet ... tujhe lagta hai ki tu Maan se pyar kar sakti hai?? I mean he is not from your status, damn you hail from a rich family and don't go gaga on him that way ... don't fall for his looks ... Pinky was tired of telling Geet the same thing again and again

But Geet was Geet ... She always got what she wanted and Maan is her recent flick, probably it took her three years to understand that he is the one who can be her life partner. She still cant forget the way they met and how they met ... Geet was lost in her world when Pinky was trying to give a big philosophical class.

Geet's parents died when she was a kid, and it was her grandmother and grandfather who had brought her up. She was in her 10^th when she met Maan in a bus ... They were travelling to their respective homes.

Maan was happy that he met his mother and saw her the very first time while Geet she wanted to have an experience of travelling in a bus. Both were sitting beside each other, that was the start of their relation ... casual talks led them to exchange phone numbers. Geet reached her home so did Maan, she was delighted meeting her grandparents while Maan lost his father for he met his mother. He was a kid when his mother left home ... and had no idea how his mother looked like. Maan was brought up by his father who married another woman and had a second family. Just because Maan met his own mother his father asked him to leave his house and disown him.

Since then Maan was taken care of by Geet's grandparents like he is not different from her. Geet was glad that they had accepted Maan. Their bond only grew stronger, while Geet fell for this man badly ... Why wont she first reason is being adolescent and second reason being Maan was a very good human being apart from being handsome.

Geet came back to her normal world and warned Pinky ... Dare you speak of status, Maan sirf mera hai woh chahe jaise bhi hai.

Maan was 19 then while Geet was only 16 ... He began to take care of Geet's grandfather Mohan Handa helping him with business and also taking the custody of her. Ever since Maan had joined Handa's office, the other business partners of handas hated and envied Maan. Amit shergill was also a major partner in Handa's shares, he always waited for the chance to overtake the shares of Geet's grandfather. He had planned so much but at the end when Maan joined them all his attempts to kill Mohan Handa failed miserably.

Like Geet Maan too held same feelings for her but he was a mere employee in Handa's moreover he was busy with his education also ... He didn't wanted Mohan Handa to take him wrong. But at the end of the day Maan was too adolescent ... When Geet proposed he had to accept her love and he did.

Mohan Handa asked Maan to leave for office work to Banglore for a week ... Geet was hell upset so was Maan. Amit got the right time to target Mohand handa, just when Maan left he had taken the opportunity to sneak out into Handa Haweli. The whole property of Handas belonged completely to Geet and it will go to her husband and her family when she gets married.

Amit tied up Geet's grandparents and made his son Ronak to tie mangalsutr to Geet, she couldn't even resist for she was tied up too. Ronak carried Geet to his room to leave his claim on her physically so that her grandparents will have no other option than accepting him as son in law.

In order to save herself Geet hit Ronak with a vase on his head ... the blow he got was so heavy that he lost his life on the very spot. Geet got panicked, she opened the door and came outside. Amit got shocked seeing Geet in a pool of blood ... When he realized his son was dead, he couldn't digest the fact.

He held Geet by her arm and said ... You killed my son!! And I am gonna make my son alive by getting you pregnant.

She was taken to the hospital, no one knows what happened ... Geet was too nave to realize that she was being inserted with sperms of Amit. She came back home normally unaware of anything ... Her grandparents were safe, Amit warned Mohan Handa that he will tell police that Geet killed his son if they don't keep their mouth shut about the incident that happened. Geet began to slip into depression and a fear that she will be put behind bars for killing a man, she didn't mention that something happened with her in the hospital in her depression for she didn't knew that it was a major issue.

Maan came back, he had no idea what happened in his absence ... No one told him neither Geet's grandparents nor Geet and a month passed. Maan tried his best to know from Geet what was making her so upset but she didn't say anything ... Things got messed up when Geet got pregnant, which led to the death of her grandmother followed by her grandfather. They were so upset with the news that their weak hearts couldnt stand it.

Tears dried up still she had nothing left with her other than those tears, moreover the recent realizations about pregnancy were too much for Geet to digest. She had no idea what happened to her and why her grandparents couldn't take the bitter truth.

Pinky explained Geet how she got pregnant ... she felt like killing the baby but then she couldn't even do it. Maan stood like a pillar for Geet, and she didn't tell him the biggest truth of her life. But finally when she could gather her courage and tell Maan she watched him walk away like she was a kind of rag to him. Its been two days Maan didn't come back to her, Geet didn't feel bad. She could only curse her fate.

You will have to stay alone Geet ... kya kami hai tere life mein?? Your dad has earned so much that you don't even have to look back ... all you have is this baby!! Isme Maan ko meri bewafayi nazar aaye, I know it will be difficult on him to accept a woman who is pregnant with a child, par hum dono itne dur ho gaye ki meri wafa bhi bewafayi ban gayi!! ... Lekin tumhare liye main kuch bhi karongi, yaha tak ki Maan se bhi dur rahongi!!

She was lost in her thoughts when Pinky came ... Pinky her best friend, Pinky the only person who is still with her after every hardship of life, Tell him the truth Geet ... Tell him that this pregnancy is not coz of physical relation, keh do usse ki tum utni hi paak ho jitni pehli thi ... boldo Maan se ... Jitna sacha tera pyar hai utna sacha agar uska bhi hai toh woh tere paas jaroor aayega!!

Geet cried hugging herself not replying to Pinky ... So was Maan in sorrow, he still took care of Geet's business and property. His only friend Adi came to him ... it was Pinky who requested him to speak to Maan. Offlate Pinky has been trying every possible way to talk to Maan and it was then she understood that Adi was the only person who can tell Maan what happened to Geet. When he tried to tell Maan the truth he snapped, it was then Adi had to ask making Maan to freeze ... Tumhe ajeeb nahi lagta Maan?? Jo ladki yeh nahi jaanti ki physical relationship kya hota hai, aisi ladki Maa banti hai ... And if she was forced toh aaj woh zinda nahi hoti ... She is just sixteen!!

More or less Maan was a teenager too ... that was what has made him an idiot, he felt like someone was stabbing his heart when he heard what Geet went through. He ran into Geet, hugging her, holding her making sure that she was safe. He tried telling her to abort the baby as she had no energy in her body to give birth to a child to which she refused. Maan found that Amit lost his mental stability and he was admitted in mental asylum ... He couldn't even punish a mad man.

The couple managed to stay in each others arms ... for days and nights which led them to land into a physical relationship. No one had control ... when Maan was deep inside her, Geet began to bleed and it was then sense knocked into them. Their closeness led to Miscarriage, Geet lost her baby at the cost of a weak moment.

She held Maan's collar and yelled ... You killed my baby, I hate you ... I really hate you

Geet ... Jaan trust me I didn't do it intentionally bas I couldn't control myself, she slapped Maan hard and retorted back ... Don't you ever show me your face again, just because I refused to abort you had tricked me!!

The word trick began to hammer him so much that Maan lost his temper ... Both of them were equally at fault ... Remember Ms Geet Handa you will come to me asking to accept you, woh din aayega, saying he left.

Seven years passed, Geet did her MBBS ... Settled in London, she adopted a girl for she felt she had to give life for she had taken a life. But Geet could never accept her, not everyone can accept others blood ... So did she!! In true sense Pinky brought up Khushi keeping her own life at stake, she left her admission in college to take care of the child. Geet remained busy in her professional life trying to hate Maan.

She came back to her present and saw Maan staring at her ... She ran away like always not wanting to break down in front of him.

She cried sitting in her room, the more she cried the more her eyes filled with tears. Pinky was seeing Geet since a day, and finally losing her patience she went to talk to her. She was shocked to see Geet in a mess, kya hua Geet?? What's bothering you?? She asked

Maan wapas aagaya ... He is back Pinky, mujhe uske paas jaane ka mann kyun kar raha hai??

Kyunki tu Maan ke alawa kisi aur se pyar nahi kar sakti Geet ... you cant run away from him, she said wiping Geet's tears.

Tu aise kyun bol rahi hai??

Iss liye kyunki tune aaj tak sirf Maan se pyar kiya ... itna jitna tune kisi aur se nahi kiya, yaha tak khushi ko bhi nahi

Yeh tu kya keh rahi hai?? Geet was stunned for a moment, she couldn't react to the harsh words which Pinky was using.

Aur nahi toh kya Geet?? Tune khushi ko bas adopt kiya, you couldn't love her ... you adopted her out of your guilt of killing an innocent life ... You thought that when you killed a baby you had to give life to another baby, that's the reason you got Khushi here ... But you failed loving her, when you were attending classes I left my admission to take care of the little life ... you have adopted her and I had brought her up ... Tu usse pyar nahi kar sakti and trust me I have no complains on it, all I want is you to be happy, chali jaa apne maan ke paas ... I had decided to marry Adi, hum dono khushi ko sambhal lenge par tu jaa ... apne aapko dhoke mein mat rakh!!

Geet went speechless, she had to agree that whatever Pinky told her was right, and it didn't take her long to reach Maan and seek his warmth that she was missing since long.

I love you Maan, jaise tumne kaha main tumhari bahon mein aaongi ... Main khud aagayi, she said hugging him closer.

I love you Geet ... I am sorry!! Geet told him about Khushi but now she was with pinky and Adi so they were happy that she was being taken care off!!

Maaneet got married ... they were blessed with a boy who became second life to Geet while Adi and Pinky had a baby girl. They had now two daughters one being khushi and another being their own blood.
