dont worry about the meaning its the time when exaggerated poetry and use of oxymorons was at its peak. The music is addictive and the surprise is it's ARR's music. Well it was his early days when his kitty was filled with pure talent and variety.

It has the kind of beats that Goan folk music has. I am sure A.R.Rehman has drawn inspiration from folk music for this one😳

Haven't heard Goan folk songs but Southern folk songs, especially sung in the green fields of Tamil Nadu have similar beats. 😆

The dhol or drum that was playing in the background, particularly sounded like a local goan drum called 'ghumat'

Ghumat is usually played during Ganesh Aarti during Ganpati festival. I love the sound of that percussion instrument.😃

this is Raja sir's first movie as a composer. Most of his songs he said comes from village song inspirations. He says there is a tune for every emotion in rustic village songs.

I think especially mill grinding

These were usually called Ovya in Marathi. The housewives used to be the ones who would compose and sing them.

What has changed? A few days ago, he wouldn't have been snooping for information of his employee's family, wouldn't have felt nerve wrecking anger at a family problem, which is no where related to him, haven't felt anxious like that, wouldn't have played even and helped a girl, and indirectly set her up with his own employee.
