Part 111

"It means that Ravi knew this accident will...?"

Adi couldn't speak further but Maan understood his unspoken words. His hard turned eyes revealed all certainty in this truth which both had been realizing. For a moment atmosphere became silent. More than chillness of AC, this truth froze bones inside their bodies and their brains started melting with the heat of anxiety. Few drops slips down from Maan's forehead. Unforgotten memories runs to fill his mind when every night he had spent without his father but remembering him for once every day. His mother's pain wetting her eyes was also not hidden from him, her aloofness and restlessness with the feel of being alone in this world and everything was because of only one man in this world. "Ravi Singhania!!"

"Maan are you okay?"

Maan felt a pressure on shoulder. He closed eyes then opened and gathered all his stress in tight fist. "I'm fine Adi. And thanks for this information"

"I'll try to collect more information about this guy. You take care yourself" He decided to leave, knowing Maan needs alone time. He left the cabin. His leaving was the last extend for Maan to control his temper. With a hard blow of arm he threw things upon desk making single piece of thing hitting the floor with blatant sound and he screamed as loud as his cry would've overheard through the hard shell of walls. His roar resounded in aloof room, but there was no one to comfort him.

Romeo peeped inside at the same time. Seemed he overheard his shout. He looked Maan was standing near his desk. He was breathing heavily and all things were scattered on floor. Worried Romeo rushed to him asking if he was okay. But when dangerously glared him, Romeo swallowed saliva in fear and thought better to get off.

He was passing in the corridor when found Nitya's was coming at his direction at some far. He remembered how she'd tried to ploy him. After the incident Lucky had made him understand that how she'd used him. He got chance for revenge. He made an instant plan mentally. He walked to Lucky and started talking.

"You know lucky Bhai I am so worried for Maan sir"

"Why? What happened?" Unaware Lucky asked worriedly. Romeo made innocent face. "You know Lucky Bhai, I'm just coming from his cabin and I shocked to see him crying!" He spoke as loud as his tone could attract Nitya's attention and this attempt worked. She rushed to him.

"What are you saying Romeo?"

"Ma'am you?" Romeo turned startling and asked in wonderment.

"Yes me. Now will you stop spreading rubbish around here?"

"No Ma'am, its truth. I myself have seen him crying alone. You yourself can go and see his condition, he is inside and in same status. You know Ma'am, I've heard him murmuring that his life is wasted and that also because of marrying Geet"

"Geet?" Nitya asked surprised.

"Yes Ma'am. He was murmuring that she has cracked his relation with family. Let me tell you one secret Ma'am" he whispered, "I've also heard that his grandfather is angry on him due to this marriage and now, he wants to exclude Maan sir from all his property. Oh, I so pity on Maan sir. I wish he would have a girl from high society, his life would've more pleasant"

"But Romeo Bhai, how it can be possible. Yesterday only we all witnessed how he favored Geet maam" Lucky queried the same what Nitya had doubted about. But Romeo said that's because of his own family reputation he had to favor Geet everywhere. In her love Maan transferred this company on her name and now he has to maintain this ownership. Nitya was totally convinced. She recalled how Maan had flirted with her when Geet was not around and she was sure, now also she can accomplish her dream to get closer of him.

Romeo had been watching her expression and it was as same as he had imagined, the wicked one.

Nitya warned him for not spreading this rumor in office and she left with planning something in mind. She straightway rushed in Maan cabin. She peeped inside to find, the same scene which Romeo had described and her doubt got cleared. But she didn't see his face. Maan was backing to her, fuming in anger, he was stood near huge table clutching the glass cornet in fist and he was breathing disorderly.

"Maan sir" She spoke and slowly walked to him. Maan startled hearing her voice. His eyes awaken like a lifeless man. He heard her advancing steps nearing to him. Silently he stayed in same posture controlling his anger for not to blast on her. But Nitya mistook his silence his depression. Her courage increased. She came closer. "I know Maan sir you're tensed. You must need someone to comfort you but you should never feel alone" As if she took chance to see how he reacts. When once again Maan didn't respond her boldness became stronger. She touched his shoulder.

"I know you are depressed because of Geet. I always knew that girl is not perfect match for you. I also know Sir that how you're living with her for the sake of your reputation but now, you don't need to take any tension about her. I am with ..."

Suddenly scream left out from her mouth when Maan clutched her throat and pushed her back in such force her back hit the wall behind. She found, Maan was seething in rage. His eyes were ready to burn her alive and his nostrils were fluttering. She struggled in his grip. His tight clutch was stopping her breath and she was throttling to die.

"How dare you to bring Geet name on your dirty mouth" he increased pressure on her neck. Nitya threw hands legs in air to get freed, she was witnessing death before eyes but Maan had no effect of her struggle. As if he had reached to another world where all were his enemy. All wanted to snatch his beloved one from him. "I couldn't save my father but no one can take away my Geet from me. No one! heard you girl no one!!!" He roared in deadly pitch. After a few more struggle Nitya body stopped moving and she became still.
