"Maan.. Maan where are we going?"

Geet shouted while being dragged and she was totally confused with this sudden spin of Maan's mind. Maan stared her and pressed lift button but remained silent.

"Why you're not talking me?"

Maan crossed arms across chest and changed his position in attitude. Geet got frustrated. "I was so near to my goal. That Ravi the rat was just going to be trapped in my net but no.. you had to spoil everything. Now when I'm asking where we are going you've stitched your mouth. I was right. I shouldn't have bought you with me'' She had been murmuring as loud as he could hear and her eyes glared him purposefully but Maan even didn't respond. Lift door opened and he marched toward his car.

"I'm not coming with you... listen Maan!!" She yelled. Thought he would care but Maan let continued his walk. She waited for little span. Waited that he would come to her to take away but instead she heard the car engine sounded. It got louder.

"Urgh!!! Hate you .." at last Geet stomped to him. She hoped inside and fastened the seat belt. Maan started driving. After going some far when yet her antics could not make him utter anything, and this mystery started taking her life and the silence started turning the toll over her already annoyed mind, she decided to start the conversation. "Stop the car" she said and for her surprise Maan did.

"Now can you tell me Maan what is running in your mind? Why you're not talking to me? Why did you have to run off from there when I was just an inch away to win my challenge haan!! " she spun to him at once. Maan sat relaxed and smirked in reply.

"Stop smiling Maan. You're enhancing my anger I tell you" she pointed finger on him.

Maan glared at her finger and then at her face. Her breath was quivering in anger. Suddenly with an instant swift Maan caught her finger and pulled at him that unready Geet fell on him colliding her mouth against his neck. He twisted her hand on her back tugging her closer. She had to clutch his shoulders for support and a gasp got released from her mouth with this sudden skin to skin contact. Her breathing was fanning over his skin. Maan heart skipped many beats with the feel of her warm breathes and the pressure over her hand got increased in term of controlling his secret yearn. A soft cry came out from her lips but that faded away in air when his hand freed her finger and started slipping over her spine. Geet started losing her sense.

"Did you feel same Geet, how I'd been feeling when you'd not told me anything? How your silence had been bothering me? How did I feel when that person wanted to touch your hand and I just felt like to kill him then and there?" His soft strokes over her spine had started becoming possessive. He intimated her closer whispering every single word near her ear that his lips could taste her skin. His voice became heavy. "Didn't you think once how would I've felt when his filthy eyes raised on you and you were smiling at him? You requested to the same person who had intended to hurt you.. Had tried to hurt you Geet? Why didn't you keep faith on me.. Why Geet?"

Geet looked him in awe. She hadn't expected this instant transformation in him. He was looking in pain. She tried to study his eyes but he hid his emotions. She couldn't guess his intention, those were masked behind his dominating gesture. Maan trapped her face between his tough hands and his fingers were pressing her skin.

"Maan..." She tried to speak but he peaked on her lips to stop her saying further.She shivered to feel his cold touch.

"Don't.. let me complete" Maan spoke still feeling her soft lips and when he was sure, she wouldn't interrupt, he moved back. "You know nothing about him. You don't know that RS is much dangerous than you can imagine him. He can do anything. If you think that your one question can hook him in your plan than you're wrong. You don't know but he would have hundreds of methods to escape easily today but that must have alarmed him against you Geet and I don't want this risk for you. I don't want his eyes on you again. I don't want you to be his target of enmity. Don't do this fault ever again Geet, your little mistake can make big harm for you and that I couldn't handle anymore. I'll rather die Angel"

"Shut up Maan.." She peaked his lips same he had done her for stop him saying. She still couldn't understand as what escape RS could've found for himself but she understood Maan's concern for her safety. Her one kiss relieved his spanning heart. Maan brought her in hug and kept near his heart. The fact he'd realized that RS target was Geet, had made him extra alarmed against Ravi. Today when in meeting Maan noticed there was something hidden in his expression, the way Ravi was taking interest in Geet questions, the way he was trying to behave normal when his face had slight sign of rage, this all confused Maan. He knew Ravi would try to escape from this question and it was not so hard also. He could have given wrong number. He must have contacts with many media houses and he could've used this matter against Geet easily. When he can play fake reporter game nothing can be impossible for him. But I have to know, why is he doing this to her and who's behind all this!

"Maan.. what you started thinking?"

Finding him silent Geet shook him. "You don't take much tension Maan, I know you were jealous but... " She stopped to watch his reaction... "but that doesn't mean he can harm me"

"Jealous? .. me?" He raised eyebrows.

"of course you.. weren't you?" She moved back and settled in her seat while Maan started car.

"huh! You're gone mad. Why would I feel jealous Geet?"

"Because.. I'm beautiful.. and all like to see me" she grinned.

"Who told you this?"

"Why,, you don't know yet? See.. how big my eyes are.. they are even beautiful"

"Really!"

"yes.. and Baba says I looks like a princess"

"And you believed on his lie Geet.. so innocent you're"

"My Baba never lies"

"But this time he told .."

"Maan!! You're so bad!"

He smiled looking at her pouting face. Geet wanted to cheerup his mind and she succeeded.
