The coldness is Maan's behaviour is dreadful but not fully unjustified.It wud be difficult for Geet to melt him and bring out the hidden warmth.As u've earlier said smtimes it takes time to the hurt to seep in and when it does it goes so deep that it becomes difficult to divert the situation like in past.
Maan is trying hard that Geet backs off but Geet toh Geet hai,manaake chhodegi Maan babu ko.
