Prologue
I woke up listening the beeping sound...beep beep ..i tried to open my eyes but immediately stop that ..there is so much light I couldn't open my eyes...again I tried.. this time slowly...I hear faint sound of talking but couldn't concentrate what they are talking... i opened my eyes to see I'm staring at white ceiling.. where I am?
Geet..?? I hear a faint sound of a woman...I looked at her.. she is old ..may be her late forties...but she looked young & beautiful...
Geet ?? She again said..
Huh?? I croaked.. my throat felt so dry ..i coughed and tried to get up...someone stopped me ..i looked at the women again ..she hand me a glass of water.. i drank the water in one go...I feel better now...
Geet baby ..how are you feeling?? The woman asked me. I looked at her again..
Where I am?? I asked her.
You are in hospital baby..
Who are you??
Geet?? I'm your mother baby...
Huh?? Mother?? Who is geet??
Huh?? The lady seems confused ..that's when someone entered the room with a crying baby ..a very beautiful young girl with a very small baby...she is cradling the baby to her chest ..trying to stop the baby from crying and ..she is saying something..
Mom ..what happened..Geet?? thank god geet you are awake..now lets...and she stops ..she seems confused looking at my confused face..
I am looking at everything confused...my mind is hazy with so many questions...who are they?? Why I am in a hospital?? And specially who I am??
Who I am?? Who is geet?? I asked again this time loud ..the baby's crying stopped suddenly...and the lady & the girl is now looking at the baby ..then me ..they looked surprised...
" You are geet " the girl answerd.
I looked at them blankly...so my name is geet..then how I don't remember.. they looked at each other then looking at me with an unreadable expression.. I felt weird looking at them.. Suddenly a handsome looking man entered the room wearing a white coat ..He is a doctor...He asked me how I am feeling...checked my pulse ..then turned to talk with the women..
She is fine ..everything is normal...the doctor said.
But Yash.. she is not recognizing anyone ..the woman answered.
A nurse entered the room with some paper ..she handed the papers to the doctor and said, here is her report sir..
The doctor checked the reports & looked at me then turned to again talk to the lady..
I'm sorry to say Aunty but I think she has lost her memory ..the doctor said..
Lost my memory?? Why?? When?? How did that happened?? So many thoughts running in my mind ..i feel sudden dizziness..
Lost her memory?? But Yash ...the girl said ..suddenly the baby again started crying...
I looked at the baby ..the baby is so small.. wrapping in a blue small duvet ..its looked just like a cotton ball ..the girl came to me and give me the baby ..i hesitated before taking the baby ..when I take the baby its stopped crying...I looked at the baby in awe ..its a boy.. he is beautiful ..may be 2weeks old ..
He is beautiful ..i said out loud..
He is ..the girl answered..
I looked at her and asked...what's his name??
The girl looked at me sadly and answered ..i don't know ..you have to choose his name..
I looked at her confusedly ..choose his name?? why I have to I choose his name?? I thought she is his mother ..but now I thought she is not...then where is his mother?? Why she is not with this boy??

You have to choose his name...she heisted then looked at the doctor.. the doctor nodded looking at her...then she turned to look at me right in the eye and answered.. You have to choose his name... because you are his mother geet...
