Maan came to his guest house..all depressed and destructed and worn out .He sunked on the couch..feeling all defeated,failed,loosed his everything like a looser..his eyes started to rain..The tears those he stopping before others flown out not listening to him.
Munshi ji who followed him seen him in that state awed.He didnt understand why he was reacting this much in this matter."Why,chote babu taking this much interest ? as this issue is very common..to him seen many cases before.."but he was totally confused first and by seeing this side of him breaking down lonely.he understood that there is some personal reason and that could be what else other than love?
dadi ma called to munshi ji as maan couldnt lift his phn frm long..she was worried for him.
Munshi ji answerd the call..
Dadi ma :- kya hua munshi ji maan phn kyun nai uta rahe ? woh teek h nai?
Munshi ji :- maam !! chote baabu teek hai..wo,,wo..
Dadi ma:- kya hua munshi ji..? meri maan se baath kar vayiye.
Munshi ji:- ji madam..sab ab bahut disturbed n upset hai..isiliye woh phn nahi uta rahe..
Dadi ma:-upset hain? par kyun kya hua ?
Munshi ji:- woh maam aaj yaha kuch hua..uski wajah se woh bahut pareshaan hora raha hai
dadi ma:- kya hua ?
munshi ji told everything that has happened
dadi ma :- yeh tho bahut bura hua..aisa honi nahi chahiye..duniya badal rahe hai..sab badal rahe h..par hamara gaon aur yeh log,unki soch bilkul nai badal rahe..koun hai woh ladki..?
Munshi ji :- ji..woh... handa's ki beti
dadi ma:- handa's ? maine bahut suna hai uke baare bahut orthodox hai unki family n bahut rigid hai,,,bechari ladki..kitna sehna pada ?par unke liye maan kyun pareshaan ho raha hai..
munshi ji :- maam..wo..muje lagraha ki..
dadi ma :- munshi ji saaf saarf batayiye kya kehna chathe hain aap..?
munshi ji:- woh..maam..muje lag raha ki...chote babu..us ladki ko chahthe hai..
dadi ma :- kya ?? woh kaisa hua ? maan aur us ladki ? kya maan janthe hain use ?
munshi ji :- yeh wahi ladki hai jisne wo..W.TC ka idea di..aur donate bi ki..
dadi ma :- oooh tho woh yeh thi..ab samaj mein aaya..maan kun itna utawla hora..HP jaane k..hai raam yeh kya hua ? maan kitna pareshaan horaha ?muje maan se baath karvayiye..
munshi ji took the phn to maan
"chote baabu..aap ki dadi ma k phn hai.."
maan startled and looked at him and said dadi ma se kahiye..mein unse baad mein baath karta hun..saying this he went inside..dont want to let her know his state..
dadi ma heard this and sighed.."teek hai munshi ji..maan ko thodi der akel achod dijiye..mein baad mein baad karthi hun"she kept the phn thinking everything in wonder
"muje pata h nahi chala ki..maan kisi ko pasand karte hai..agar pata chala tho..main thuranth kuch kar paati ..agar aisa ho tho yeh sab nai hota..woh ladki k sath..maan ko yeh dusra jakam hai..pehli woh unki parents k mouth se aisi depression mein chala gaya..saalon laga muje unhe is gam se bahar laane ka..pata nai ab yeh baath ka asar un pe kaisa hota..hey..bagawan kya hora hain maan k zindagi mein..kya unhe kabi khushi nai milega.."
dadi ma sat all worried and disgusting by these and fearing for maan..
here maan went straightly to washroom and stood under the shower..trying to drain his suffering and pain through water..
" why geet ??? kyun chali gayi mujhe chod ke..? kaha ho thumm ? jaha b ho aajao geet mere passs..thume aisa karna nahi chahiye tha.. kya thume sach mein meri pyaar k ehsaas nahi hua ? sirf mein nahi geet thum b mujse pyaar karthi ho..kyun chali gayi thum..kaha dundu meein...thume ?
he stood under shower till all his strength drain out and came out..slumped on bed even without changing..
Here at early hours the train reached to Delhi..there is a lot of huzzle buzzle as the passengers rushed to get down the train and heading tho their destination.Never seen that much public. Both Manju nGgeet awed by this and scared. they know that Delhi is a big city lot of population but they never got of their hp till now..heard lot about this shehar and people..they waited till all the passengers in the train went out and slowly got down the train and moved to a corner..sat on the bench..manju every time scanning their surroundings,,there is big qstn in both of their mind..
" ab kya karna hai ? kaha jana hai..? kiski help lena hai ? koun karega ?pehle aisa kisi gher par viswas nai karsakthe..kisi ko yeh b pata nai chalna chahiye..ki woh koun hai..kaha se aaye hai..kyun aye hai.. yeh log inki besahara ki halath se faida utane ki koshish karthe hain..Delhi hai,.. ye.Delhi..pura shahar dhoke baaje se hai !! bahut sun rahi huin yaha..har roj kitna crime..dhoka..zulm hote hai..kaise bachana hai apne aap ko in logon se ? "
yeh saare baath unki mann mein gunj rahe..
Geet : di, ab hum kya karenge ?
manju : pata nahi geet..kuch sochna hai..pehle hum station se bahar jayenge..dekthe hain bahar kuch aisi jagah milthi hai jaha hum reh sake..
and they went out to the station and walked to the local bus stop..there they sat on th bench thinking wat to do..and observing their surrounding..fulll trafic..all huzle buzzle..busses running..people running..all in their own busy..
Manju observed some group a little away from bus stop..they all are daily labor..mazdoor log waiting for their masion
the Masion came and select few of them for today's construction work..they will b paid at the end of the day..
Manju stood at once..and said to Geet tum yahi rukho..mein abi aati hun..she said giving chotu to her..
she went to the masion and stood their camly..after his work..masion looked at her..
Manju :- namasthe saabji..!!
Masion :- namasthey..
Manju :- saab ji..mein bi ek mazdoor hun..muje bhi kuch kaam dilayiye..bahut zaruri hain muje..
Masion looked her from top to bottom..."koun ho tum..kaha rehthi ho ?"
Manju :- ji mera naam manju h..and woh mera bahein and beta..she showed them to him..
Masion :- kaha rehthi ho tum ?
Manju kept silent..
Masion looked questioningly..observing her keenly..estimating that she is not from Delhi..kaha se aayi ho tum ? Manju kept silent..she dont want to tell him their identity and y dey left their village etc as it is not safe to tell about ourselves to unknown..
Masion sighed.."mein aisa ghair logon ko kaam nahi de saktha..kya pata agar tum waha se kuch le kar baag gayi toh..? muje nuksaan hoga..aur tuoh tum apne baare mein batane k tayar bi nahi ho..mein kaisa yakeen kar saktha hun tum par ? "
Manju:- sab ji..agar aap chahe tho mein mera behan aur beta ko aapi ki yahan cod thi hun..aur kaam pura hone k baad mein unhe leke jaungi..saab kaam muje bahut zaruri hai..krupa karke muje kaam mein lelijiye..
Masion felt in deep thought..he is a geninue person and a kind hearted person. He saw a no. of cases in his life ,.. who struggle for even do wakth ki roti ,. kitna mehnath krna hai dIn bhar and heard many heart wrenching stories . He himself helped them . His heart is melting seeing her ,.. aur dekho tho bahut laachar dikhrahe uper se behan and beta ki jimmedaari hai isper,.. ,.. aur ye koi bhik nahi maang rahe ,.. kaam puchrahe ,.. koi neech kaam nahi karrahe ,.. seedha kaam puch rahe ,. ye baath unhe bahut achhal aga,.. thoda respect agaya manju per,. so he decided to give her a chance.' dekhthe hu ek mouka deke agar sahi isthmal kiya tho baad me dekhtha hu ,.. mujhe lagraha hai ki inki pass rahneki koij aga bhi nahi hai ,.. kaha chalegi ? ye jarur Delhi ki nahi hai,. jarur koi gaon se yaha ayi hogi ,jobhi waja ho mai isi laachar ladki ko isa besahara nahi chode saktha hu,.. ek mouka deke dekhtha hu ,..
He decided to give work to her and asked her to got in to the van along with other labour. Manju said sukriya to him and bring geet and chotu to the van . Now he observed geet and got some suspicion.
" Ye tho inki apni behan kahrahi hai ,.. per dekho tho isa nahi lagrahe ,.. donoki shakal aur baaki bilkul nahi milrahe,.. behan tho pura kipura koi achhi khaandaan ki lagrahe ,.. inki rang roop aur nazook wagaira se padi likhi lagrahe,.. per ye manju tho pura alag hai bilkul ek majdoor jaisa thoda hatti katti dikhrahe ,.. din bhar dhoop me mehnat karke isa hojatha hai ,.. jarur kuch baath hai ,.. baad me patalagana hoga,. he decided and made them to climb the van and took them to the construction site.
Manju sighed thanking babaji,.. pehle din kaam tho milgaya shaam tak kuch paisa haath me ajayegi tabhi hum kuch khasakthe ,...aur rahneki ? iski bhi kuch sochna hai jaldi. raat bhar sadak per nahi rahsakthe.
Geet:- Di,.. mai bhi kaam karthi hu aap ke saath,..
Manju:-nahi ,..thumhe kaam karneki koi jarurat nahi mai huna ? mai karthi hu,. thum chotu ko samalo,.. dekho thumhari haalat kitna kamjoor bangayi ho thum,.. jab tak mai hu na thumare saath isa kaam nahi karne dunga humhe ,.. ye kaam tumse nahi hoga ,.. ye bahut kathin hai thum nahi karpaoge, shaam tak hume kuch paisa milegi tabhi hum kuch khayenge thik hai ,.. Masion all listening their discussion ,.. his doubts r getting hiper now ,.. and manju made them sit in a place near Masion and asked him to keep an eye on them and went to work.
