Maan was tongue tight * he had nothing to give her and he looked at Dadima and then Geet nervously. Dadima blinked at him and said .

Dadima: haan wo special bhi hei aur khandani bhi jo Maan ne Geet ko dene ke liye select kiya hei ... hum abhi laye Maan .. aap sabke samne Geet ko dena and Dadima went to her room and came back with a Bful box in her hand * she handed that to Maan . Maan took that with a smile and turned to Geet .

Geet looked at him then took that box and thanked him . All sat there and GD took d box to see that special thing * she opened d box and her eyes widened seeing that object . Pam and Annie too praised that * Maan was looking at all curiously , he didn't know what was in that box ? Geet's eyes were reading Maan's expressions and now she was sure that he didn't know anything about d gift means it was not from his side * Dadima was saving his G son from this mess. She felt a vacuum in her heart and wanted to go away from all this canting.

Maan was looking at Geet who was lost in her thoughts * her fingers were playing with d box in her hand * she didn't show any charm for d gifts and he knew d reason * her blank eyes were hurting him * after some time all went to their respective rooms. Geet was waiting for this moments and she rushed to her room * she was feeling suffocated there * wanted to cry out her pain but nobody was there to give her a shoulder * those boxes of jewellery were like a burden in her hand * she got up and went to Maan's room * he was changing when he heard d knock at d door . Maan opened d door and found Geet there * he was stunned to see her there * she never come this side

Geet: MK , please have these things with u , i can't keep these .. Sorry and forwarded d boxes to him .

Maan felt d bitterness of her heart in that cracky voice.

Maan: Geet these r ur gifts then why r u giving me * Dadima gave u with so much love , so please keep these with u otherwise she felt bad and insulted.

Geet: and what about me Mr Khurana ? Maan was hurt with her indifference and felt insulted on refusal of d gifts.

Maan: Geet ye tumhare liye hei tum hi rakho .

Geet: ye mere liye nahi hei Mr Khurana isliye mei nahi rakh sakti.

Maan: Geet sabke samne tumhe diye hei to tumhare hai .

Maan was froze at his place , he didn't know about that and he was looking at her confused and tongue tight. Geet waited for his reply but didn't get .

Geet moved in and kept that boxes on his bed * he wanted to stop her but helplessly rooted there * she moved back to go giving him a faint smile but her eyes were burning . Maan held her wrist when she crossed him * she looked at him surprisingly but he was looking down and his lips were quivering to speak but unable to formulate d words. Geet jerked her hand to make her free but he held more tightly.

Geet: leave my hand , she pulled her hand again but he was tightening his grip after every attempt * her hand was paining coz of his hard grip .

Geet: u r hurting me , leave my hand and let me go MK.

Maan didn't response and stood there without giving her a look * he was in a turmoil * it's now or never situation for him * she had done her duties and now it's his turn * he remembered Dadima's words that Geet felt insecure and she didn't have any trust in this relation * the reason of her insecurity was he ... The Maan Singh Khurana , her husband . All were very sure about her that she never turn down them but she didn't trust anybody in this house and it was because of their relation which he didn't accept * he is at fault * he gathered his courage and spoke with a lowered head.

Maan: Geet , agar mei apne aur tumhare rishty ko accept karu tab to tum in gifts ko accept ker logi na * sirf meri wajah se tum refused ker rahi ho.

Geet gave a sharp look to him and spoke rudely : Majboori mei iss rishty ko accept ker rahe ho ya ye bhi ek dikhawa hei apni family ke liye * ya taras khaker mujh bechari per khairaat baat rahe ho .. ki lo isne itna sab humare liye kiya hei to badale mei isse kuch de do .

Maan looked at her N replied: Geet essa nahi hei, tum galat samajh rahi ho.

Geet: accha mei galat samajh rahi hu ? Very good, OK then tell me why r u accepting this relation ? u didn't trust me * u didn't know me * u hated me from d day one * u slapped this relation * for many months u didn't know where was ur wife * u didn't recognise d girl who married u Mr Khurana then why this sudden heart change? Give me any one reason Mr Khurana.

Maan was speechless * every word was right which she was saying * he couldn't deny d truth .

Geet: aapke paas abhi koi jawab nahi hei Mr Khurana * jab ho tab bata dena * aur haan mujh per taras khane ki jaroorat nahi hei * mei logon ki khairaat (charity) per nahi jeeti , now leave my hand .

Maan: Geet , u r right at ur place and i know i was wrong but i want to know u , i want to be with u , I trust u .. i trust u Geet, please believe me Geet .

Geet looked at him registering his words which he was saying .. I trust u.

Maan came close to her and held her both hands in his * he looks at her beseechingly.

Maan: Geet .. I'm sorry * Geet hum dono janty hei jo bhi hua wo bahot galat tha aur mei apni galti manta hu Geet , please forgive me . I know u won't trust me as a husband , but i request u please trust me as a friend ... Please Geet * ab hum itne bhi Ajnabee nahi ki dost bhi na ban sake?

Geet was in deep thought * she can't deny this relation but she can't trust him coz he was in love with someone else and there was no hope of love for her * The two main things to nourish a husband-wife relation were Trust and Love which were far- far away from them .
