very logical update- we have people like taiji in our society who's best time pass jealousy,gossip,try to break perfectly good relations by scamming and gossiping outside making mountain out of dew.
where as we have other character like maan also who don't care for orthodox thinking of some people,who hates back biting and who has got modern thinking ,to change perception of older thinking in good terms who don't believes in widow should be tortured and forget to live in this society after husbands death,rule should be same for man and woman.
but one thing i will like to draw attention of writer is that ,in certain tribe if husband dies ,girl is too young and husbands brother is not married they make them married to brothers wife to keep ghar ki izzat garme raheni chaie so that other people dont take advantage of situation,it is alled as 'dervatu'.
