Part 31

Sitting alone on his refined wooden moving chair at a far corner of his bedroom, Yash was swinging in arc motion, calmly in slow pace, lost in deep thought somewhere to the past. His head was bending to back, resting over the plain log of chair and his both arms were positioning same horizontal as chair arms were laying. With his every move chair was breaking the silence which was dominating over the entire place he was sitting in. his eyes were closed, anyone could have mistook him as appearing as dead but behind those a old pair of wrinkled eye lids, life was alive. He could see open laugh of his dead son, --His Rajveer"his little baby, his son, every activities of his childhood was tempting a father heart to take him in his longings arms.

The first day of his school, Yash could still remember, how crying he was becoming but when yash took him in his arms and washed his tears away from eyes and one promise to his son that if he stops crying, they can go to amusement park after coming back from school, little Rajveer smiled with happiness and kissed father cheek.

The day young Rajveer was going to participate in the very first debate competition in school, he was shaking in nervousness. Then a warm touch of Yash palm over the little boy head healed him with warm blessing for success and he won the competition. Yash had still that trophy kept carefully in glass of his study room. there were several moments were moving in his tired mind and suddenly the day appeared when the adult Rajveer fought with his old father for a orphan girl who was his wife!

Yash and Savita had always dreamed for their son wedding with a family friend and business partner daughter but when their dream been found shattered before their eyes, they couldn't control the raging anger and turned their face away from him but Rajveer could only see the clenched fist of his father, but not the falling tears of his eyes. He mistook this tentative anger an insult of his wedding and announced he will never come back here again and left leaving four rumpled tearing eyes which had become mosaic of smashed dreams inside them which was pricking thoroughly and was so painful.

Eight years passed as same as thousands years would have felt, and one day they got the most unexpected news of their son passing away in a road accident. Their world shattered down suddenly and both rushed India forgetting every little bit of past events. They feared before an every mark of their surname would vanish in darkness of their ill-fate they had to collecte rest pieces of their lives. They had come filling dull water in their eyes, but it shone finding their grandchild innocent reflection in their thirsty eyes. Their last heir, their Maan had now become the last hope of secure future and they became engrossed in lulling him so much that forgot to see the source of this little relief, those hopeful eyes of their daughter-in-law who was staring them smiling with the same hope of getting same lull from her husband family, but found only hatred in their eyes as if she was the only reason for their Rajveer death. It was she only for whom Rajveer had left his family and so she could never get the place as a member in this family. But as little Maan needed his mother, Yash and Savita had to accept Alka just as a need of their grandson and they permitted her to come with them, leaving everything in India as same like she would have forced their son for leaving his family completely.

And now, past was stood wearing the same mock smirk before Yash, but this time, only he will win' he was sealed.

He opened eyes with calm but the fury could be seen inside very clearly. He vowed, he will not let history repeat again. "No girl now can win over me. Yash Singh Khurana had tasted defeat once but now I have learnt to win the war. No one can take my Rajveer again away from me. I will not let anyone seize my son again, I will not and for this whatever I will be needing to do, my hands will not tremble to do it!!'

Though he had taken vow as mere whisper but it impacted enough to construct the loud thunder outside. The atmosphere became dark in sky, it seemed, it would storm heavily. Any weak hearten man would stir once to hear terrible boom but Yash face gleamed, seemed he understood, weather itself was admitting his power over the clouds.

"Did you pack your things Mama?''

Maan knocked the unfastened door of Alka room and entered. He found her still sitting on bed, staring at Rajveer photo-frame. She was not crying yet was about to perhaps, when Maan touched her shoulder and gained her attention.

"Maan it's not right', she finally stated, still not removing her gaze from her husband.

"Everything is right Mama and what you think, leaving Geet forever would it be right?'

"No Beta, I never said that but" She was in hesitation in saying, not to repeat the doing what his father had done. She was a mother and could easily understand the heart which her mother-in-law possessed, it would be paining most. But she knew, decision what Maan had taken up was also couldn't be considered as wrong. But she had most feared for Geet, how that innocent girl would have to suffer she was terrified badly.

Looking at his mother, Maan calmly moved and knelt down before her. he cozily placed her tensed hands in his hold and spoke in mild manner "Mama, I know what you are thinking and worrying for but don't worry we will come back here soon. I'll try my best to make Dadaji agree for Geet. I will not leave my grandparents alone for long time but I can't leave Geet as well, she is my responsibility, you know it well',

Alka nodded silently looking at her son. He had grown up really as gentleman as his father had dreamt. How easily he understood his mother heart. She touched his cheek with blessed palm, "I'm not failed, growing you up', she spoke proudly. Her face beamed with this life achievement and eyes gleamed up. Her heart felt like to pour all its blessing over his composure which was not shaken even after having friction all around. Yes, indeed she had given him hope for a companion but he was the one who succeeded her effort. He was the one who had immersed himself completely in a bond, he never remembered yet he trusted over her words and never complained for any lack. He worshiped her narration, he trusted her notion and he believed on her belief. and she knew well, fighting for his own belonging could never be wrong.

She could not have denied agreeing on his decision, going along with him. Even if she was DIL of this family, but before she was a mother, who always had pledged to support her child in his every need. She said Maan to wait for some time since she arranges her luggage.

Maan was waiting outside, deeply occupied in his alone thought when he heard a panic and turned to know the source. He then saw his grandmother was shouting over a mere servant, "Why didn't you tell me before, where are they going?'' tremble of her old voice made Maan feel guilt and a realization, he disregarded her presence in everything whatever had been taken place in this house. At least this time she should have known that he is leaving away from her, ignoring her every wish. Though his bold heart rattled lightly thinking how would she react but he had to tell her. He leapt to her gaining again the softness of expression so she wouldn't feel fear at very first interaction but happened what he had less expected for.

As she saw him coming toward her direction, her eyes was showering fire so soon. Her one glare was enough to combust his skin but Maan did not lose stiffness of his confidence. He was optimist he would be able to make her agree for this leaving.

"What is happening here Maan. Am I that useless now in this home that nobody thought it's necessary at least to inform me anything!! I know I'm grown old now, can't match understanding level with you both big businessmen but I'm not that deaf at least that you both big men could not throw a word in my ears about your decision, and Bahu"my daughter also found me unworthy to know anything, I can't believe it!!''

Maan was calmly hearing her accuses with simple smile flying on his lips. He knew his grandmother very well and knew also how, gentle heart she possessed for her grandson and much admiration for her daughter in law as well. In these several years Alka had succeeded to create place in her heart with her calm and understanding nature.

"Don't show me your smile Maan I can't forgive you and your mother for this ignorance you both have done with me and your grandfather also!!'

"Dadima, won't you give me any chance to pacify you, hm' Maan held her wrinkled chin and made her turn to him, to look him. Savitri glared him, made face in anger, yet she couldn't stop herself to enjoy being lulled by her child. It was heart soothing. But she indeed very much in fury, she turned face aside.

"Don't try trick over me Maan'

"I'll not Dadima''

She turned to him and stared with complained look,

"Where are you going Maan. Joseph (servant name) told me you had had argument with your grandfather and now you are going somewhere leaving this house. What's this Beta'

"First of all, I'm not going leaving this house Dadima, how can I when it's my place. Just for few months I'm leaving and will be back soon. And second, no argument with anyone in this house can make me to take decision to leave here but it's my own work for which I have to go'

"What work Maan' she stared him questioning. Maan calmly picked out his cell from pant pocket and brought before her. She looked at Geet photo in it with narrowed eyes,

"Who is she?''

"She is Geet Dadima!' Maan spoke with confidence.

Precap: Someone rung the doorbell. Geet rushed running to see who it was and her eyes widen, along with wide opened mouth and she gasped in startle
