oh I know these rituals are followed by widows ...I guess in Rajasthan...where the widows are supposed to have tasteless food without any salt n sugar n no masalas too... they are not supposed to step inside the house during that isolation period...
its more like the girl should give away all her senses... n she should concentrate on god only from now on...

N am sure taiji is doing all this just to throw geet out of house n she can get maan married to that suman ...

No Aanya you are wrong here he admired geet as a person as friend and He compared Arpita and Geet too and that is very natural. and found Geet better than Arpita but he never looked down towards his wife.He preferred Geet as good person but not as his partner.
