Maan walked a bit late into the Billboard awards, as he was late he decided to sit backstage for a while till it was his time to turn up on the stage. He heard the voice of the anouncer.
''Please welcome legendary actor singer Marlon Brando''
Maan saw on the screen back stage Marlon Brando walking up the stage. He took the mike and started talking.
''What can you say about the Billboard man of the year Maan Singh Khurana. The man who's acting speaks instead of him. At a age of only 22 when most of us are starting to think what to do with our lives Maan Singh Khurana has become one of the most succesfull actors worldwide in film history.''
A video about Maan's achievment's started playing just then his Phone ringed. It was Adi his manager aka best friend he couldn't ignore that. Adi would never call him unless it was important.

Maan felt is world crashing down.

Maan sunk into the couch. This couldn't be happening his mom left him at the age of eigth uskebaad it was Maan and his dad only. Five years back he had moved to America to make it big in Hollywood. He used to speak to his dad everyday through Skype and he made sure that Adi was there besides his dad most of the time, when he wasn't. His dad Rajeev was a proffessor at *** University. He was also the head of that University.

Maan said in a low voice.
''Maan I have booked your tickets for tomorrow morning when you will come to India I will tell you everything.''
Before Maan could say anything he heard his name being called. As they say the show must go one Maan stood up and walked over to the stage to take his award. He took a deep breath and acted like nothing happened being the great actor he is he knew he could pull it off.
''I would like to thank my fans without them I would be nowhere.''
The next night Maan landed in India. When he entered KM Adi and he sat down.
''Now tell me what happened Adi.''
''Maan you know that uncle has a habbit of sleeping in his office on the campus, right.''
''Haan.''
''Well that faithfull night he was there only, the next day when I entered his cabin he found him lying on the floor with a needle in his hand. According to doctors uncle died by taking a overdoses of drugs.''
''What rubish dad didn't take drugs''
Maan yelled.
''Calm down Maan.''
Maan looked at Adi.
''Someone planned this Adi.''
''I don't know Maan.''
''What do you mean.''
''Uncle was behaving a bit weird these couple of months. He suddenly started getting aggresive and started feeling depressed. I tried talking to him but one day he pushed me out of his office asking me to get coffee. When I did he trew the cup on the floor screaming he doesn't need this coffee and asked me to leave.''
''And you never told me.''
Maan stood up.
''How could you hide something like this from me Adi''
''I didn't want to stress you I thought I could fix it.''
''You didn't want to stress me if you would have told me dad might be here.''
Maan yelled then he closed his eyes calming himself down.

''I am sorry Maan and I blame myself for rajeev..
Before Adi could day something maan interupted him.
''No Adi I am sorry to lose my temper it wasn't your fault.''

''No Adi. Tell me who will take dad's position now.''
''Maan I will after a couple of days you should go back to America.''
''Hmmm.''
''It's the best thing to do Maan.''
''Haan I know your right. I just don't feel like going.''
''Maan if you will stay here it won't do you any good you will just get depressed go back to America you fans must be missing you.''
Adi winked trying to lighten the mood.Maan forced a smile.
At the campus
Geet was reading a book while laying on her stomach. Pari walked inside her flat that was standing on the ground of the campus of University ***
''Heyy Geet, did you here that the son of Rajeev will come today.''
Geet sat up.
''Haan poor guy went through so much haina.''
''Yes I feel bad for him. Poor guy only 22 and lost his dad.''
''Haan I wonder why his dad used to take drugs.''

Just then Romeo walked in.
''Everyone has to assemble in the garden area as Maan and Adi sir have arrived.''
The girls stood up and went to the garden area.
''OMG he is so handsome. So dreammyyy.''
Pari chirped.Geet shook her head.
''As you all know Rajeev uncle is no more and there for I will take his position.''
Adi declared simply.
''Excuse me sir why won't Maan take it over.''
''because the movies need him more and that is his passion too. And even Rajeev uncle would want Maan to follow his dreams and not quit them specially because of him. Now all you can go back to what you where doing.''
''Gosh I so hoped we would get a hot professor this time.''
Sameera whispered. She was a bit older then the rest, while Pari and Geet were only 18 Sam was 21, she was in her last year of her study and as a parttime job she was also Rajeev's secetary. Even while she was older the girls she still hit it off instantly with Geet and Pari. That's when Geet noticed her. Gosh these girls Geet thought. Geet was about to walk back when she saw Pari rooted to her place.

'Huh, Geet haan you go I still have to do some stuff.''

Somewhere at the campus.
She ran a finger through Maan's picture.
''Your mine and I won't let you go this easly. Even if you will leave, you will come back running here.''
She laughed like a maniac.
Maan had told Adi he wanted to look around the campus before leaving. Adi agreed leaving Maan alone. Maan was walking around the campus like he was trying to observe where his dad used to walk and work. He inhaled the air like he could feel his dad in this air. He closed his eyes, when he heard a voice.
''Excuse me Maan.''
Maan turned arround.
''yes''
''Hi I am Pari Singhania. I used to be one of your dad's students and I can tell you he didn't die by a overdoses of drugs. I mean he didn't take it himself it was planned.''
''Come with me.''
Maan took her to his dad's cabin.
''Sit, why do you think it's planned.''
''Nothing as such but it just doesn't seem logic. I mean Rajeev sir didn't seem like such a person and was he ever a drugs addicted when he was young I mean why would he take drugs at such a age while his life seems perfects atleast to me.''
Haan maan had to agree as far as he knew even he found it weird.
'''Maan I think you should stay here not forever but temporary to find out what is really going on. I have a feeling there is much more to this.''

'' Maan I think you should take you dad's position temporary. I have a feeling you feel find out more.''
''I should talk about this to Adi.''
''No I think you shouldn't tell anyone anything. I really feel something weird is going on. I know I am no-one to believe but I have seen Adi go to your dad's cabin on odd hours.''
''Are you trying to blame Adi.''
''No I just feel you shouldn't trust anyone.What is there to lose Maan just stay for a while take the position if nothing is wrong you go back and if there is you will atleast know who did this to your dad.''
''Hmmm thanks for your concern can I know why your telling and trying to help me.''
''Because I want to become a policeofficer and my it's my duty to help people and specially when there so dreammyyy and if my istinct is telling me something as a future cop I should tell you.''

Maan shook his head while smiling. Pari stood up and left. Maan called Adi up.
''Hey buddy can you come to my dad's cabin.''
Five minutes latter Adi walked in.
''Haan Maan bhol.''
''I don't feel like going yet. I want to take dad's position over temporary.''
''Maan as a friend I understand but I also know it's the best thing if you leave. If you will stay here you will only land in a desperation.''
''No Adi I know what I am doing. I want to stay for a while. I don't feel like going.''

The next day Adi called again everyone to tell them that Maan was taking over Rajeev's position.

Sameera just giggled and walked away.

she said while running a finger though a human size Maan cut out. She put her head on the shoulder of the cut out soon it will be just you and me. Finally my wait is over. She kissed the cut out and then shied walking away while closing the door of her apartment. Maan walked into the class he started his lecture. After he was done Geet walked over to him.
''Sir I didn't understand this topic at all could you please help me.''
''Sure why don't you come to my cabin at 6. I have to run now.''
''Okay thanks.''
Maan smiled and walked away but not before looking at her one more time. She is beautifull he thought. Geet went to the liberary, when Pari walked over to her.
''Heyy Geet aaj raat let's go out of the campus to watch a movie as it's Friday today.''
''Nahi Pari I have to go and meet Maan sir at 6.''
''Why??''
''I didn't understand something and he told me he would make me understand.''
''Acha why don't I help you then we can go nah.''
''Nahi Pari waisi I have no time now I have to go and meet Romeo as we would finish our project today.''

Pari left the liberary. Maan was working at his office when he heard a knock. He looked at the time, it was 6.

Geet walked in.
''Aapko kaisi patha tah, that is was me sir.''
''It was six so I persumed it was you.''

Maan smiled at her.
''Come take a seat.''
Geet sat next to him.A hour went by but Geet still didn't understand it. She was feeling so frustrated.

Maan giggled.
''Calm down Geet. Let me explain it again.''
''Sir no use you have already explained it a zillion times, bit nothing is getting into my thick mind.''
She pouted. She looks so adorable Maan thought. He ran a hand through her hair, a pair of eyes saw that. Geet was stuned when he did that.
''Your stressing to much, relax.''
He said while he messaged her head slowly. Someone fumed seeing that.Geet closed her eyes.
''Your not dumb your just taking to much tension.''
There was a knock on the door. Though the door was a bit open Sameera knocked at the door. Maan withdrawed his hand while Geet snapped her eyes open. Both felt akward Maan didn't get what had got into him and even Geet couldn't believe she let him touch her that easly, what the hell was wrong with her. Maan straighted himself.

Sameera walked in.
''Maan sir your coffee.''
Maan looked at the time it was 7, that's indeed the time he liked his coffee.
''Thank you sam.''
She gave a sweet smile and walked away.When Sameera had walked away Maan and Geet looked akwardly here and there.Geet finally broke the silence.
''Woh maybe I should call it a day.''
''Haan.''

Geet smiled and walked out as fast as possible.
Somewhere at the campus
''How dare you Geet Handa how dare you to comethis close to my Maan. How dare you, I won't spare you Geet Handa I won't. Maan sirf mera hai.''
The wicked laugh filled her room that was full with Maan's pics. Geet walked into her apartment still feeling dazed about what just happened. She didn't know what to think about Maans act. Maan's halat was the same he couldn't believe he acted like that. But he couldn't also deny that he was acttacted towards Geet. Maan smiled thinking he wouldn't stop his feelings and he would just go with it and it seemed like that Geet didn't mind it either. he recalled that she hadn't stopped him in fact she had submitted to the feelings by closing her eyes and letting him do whatever he felt like doing. Maan smiled to himself and then walked towards his apartment on the campus to get some rest. The next day Geet saw Maan walking on the campus, it seems like he was going to the liberary. She felt really akward after what happened yesterday so she decided to ignore him. She looked at the other side acting like she hadn't seen him when she walked pass him. Maan saw her he smilled and grabbed her arm. Geet froze to the spot, slowly she turned around.
''Geet what if I give you tution today at 6 again.''
Geet meekly nodded, freed her hand and alsmost ran away. maan smiled to himself. Damn is this what they called love at first sight he wondered. While he was smiling like a love sick puppy someone else was fuming.
''No Maan you won't see Geet today a 6. That's a promise darling.''
Maan was sitting in his cabin he glanced at the time again. It was 6.30. Where was she, did he her scare her with his acts. Damn it, he didn't mean to scare her. He should apoligize. Maan stood up to leave when he dazed into Sameera.
''Sorry Sir didn't see you.''
''No Sam I wasn't looking.''
''Sir Geet told me to tell you she can't make it.''
''Hmm. where is she.''
''Sir she is in the hospital.''
''What why is she okay.''
''Haan she is better now. She has been puking since two o'clock seems like she ate something wrong.''

Sam nodded. Maan entered the hospitalroom. He saw geet laying there while she was talking to Pari. She was looking really pale.

Geet looked at Maan's concern face.

Maan walked towards her and sat on her bed.

''Sir I am just a bit dizzy. I try to sit up but then fall back again.''
Just then the doctor entered fuming a bit. Maan stood up.
''Is everything alright doctor Sameer. ''
''No Miss handa would you like to explean why you took drugs.''
Maan looked at Geet shocked.
''Doctor I swear I didn't take drugs.''
''Of course you didn't.''
Sameer said sarcasticly.
''Maan she took ***** her body couldn't handle it which lead to her puking. I will have to call your parents miss Handa.''
''Please don't, they will make me quit studying.''
''You should have thought about that before taking drugs.''
''Sameer please don't call her parents, let me handle this.''

Sameer angry walked out of the room. Maan turned to Geet.

He sat next to her and took her hand in his.

Geet blushed a bit, what was happening to her she wondered.Maan noticed the blush he smiled.

''I had some coffee, which Pari made for me out of my own coffee can which I Always use.''

''That's weird even Adi said something about dad asking about coffee.''

''Geet can I have the keys of your apartment.''

Just then Adi walked in.

Pari was playing with the keys in her hand not knowing what to do. Geet noticed.

Pari nodded Maan looked at Geet she looked so weak he hated it. Following his heart he bend and kissed her forhead, Geet closed her eyes. Adi's eyes popped out.

When Maan walked out Adi walked behind him.

and he walked away smiling. Adi made a o-face. Maan and Pari went into the apartment of Geet.

Pari went and grabbed the coffee can and gave it to Maan.Maan trew the can in his bag.

''I asked her whether Sam came yesterday she said no. Then me thought of telling her, but I was scared that I would scare her off.''

She nodded. Maan walked out of the apartment to see Sameera and Adi fight about something.

Both stopped in tracks when they saw Maan raising a eyebrow. Sam turned around and walked away. While Adi let out a nervous chuckle.

Adi walked away too. Maan found the convo weird but had no time for that he walked to the hospital.

When Sameer left Maan went to Geet's hospital room. She was sleeping on the bed looking so drained out and fragile. Maan sat next to her. He carresed her cheek slowly. Geet opened her eyes.

''Haan Geet mein sahi to kehrah hoon. I understand you weren't in the mood of tution, but that doesn't mean you act like this to get out of it.''

Geet whined. Maan smiled and kissed her forhead. Geet blushed.
''Finally some color came on your pale cheeks.''
Geet blushed more, while Maan let out a chuckle. Sameer walked in.

Pari words ranged in Maan's ear. Was Sameera behind all this. He had to talk to pari about this.

Maan left from the hospital. He walked around the campus searching Pari. When he saw her coming from the liberary. He walked over to her.
''Pari we need to talk.''

Maan took Pari to his cabin.
''What happened.''
''Pari in the coffee can there was drugs and even Adi told me dad asked him about cofffee and when Adi got him some he pushed Adi away saying he didn't want this coffee.''
''So you think the same person who drugged your dad is now also drugging Geet.''
''Haan it seems like you where right it was planned this can't be coincidence can't it.''
''No I am sure Geet would never take it and neither would your dad.''
''I was wondering if you could help me figuring out who is behind this before we tell the police this as I don't want any media attention regarding this as for now.''

Maan stood up and both Pari and he walked out of his cabin. Maan went and sat on a bench he closed his eyes. Could Adi his best friend really be behind all this. Just then he fell a hand on his shoulder. Maan turned around to find Geet looking at him, with love in her eyes if wasn't mistaken. Maan took her hand in his and lead her to where he was sitting. He made her sit next to him. She looked at him with a smile while her curl was playing on her cheek. He slowly tucked it behind.
''How are you feeling now.''
Geet put her head on his shoulder. Maan carresed her head.
''Weird.''
''Hmm you should go to your apartment and take some rest.''
''No it has nothing to do with that.''

Geet sat straight she started playing with her hands.Maan noticed she was nervous about something.
''Kya baat hai Geet, you can tell me.''

''Woh I like it when your arround me, I like your touch, while I hardly know you. It feels so weird. How can I feel attracted to a guy I hardly know. I don't know what's happening to me. I would slap a guy hard if he would kiss me on the cheek or even message my head like you did the other day in you cabin. But I enjoyed it. I don't understand why.''
A tear escaped from her eyes. Maan wiped it away.
''Sssh. don't cry I feel the same. I never touched a girl like that. I swear Geet but I don't know what happens to me when I am arround you.''
Geet could see sincerty in his eyes.

Maan smiled and pulled Geet ot himself. Gesturing her to put her head back on his shoulder and she did.
''Geet why don't we go to the holloween party together that is held on the campus this sunday. This way we will know each other and are feelings more.''
''I will be ready at 8.''
Maan could feel Geet's smile touch his shoulder.
''I persume that is a yes.''
Maan said smiling. Geet nodded. He kissed on hair.
''You need rest let me walk you to your apartement.''
Both stood up and hand in hand they walked towards Geet's apartement.
Somewhere at the campus
She walked into her room feeling wild she trew all her belongings of the table.
''How dare he to gesture her to put her head on his shoulder. How dare he, doesn't he know he is only mine.''
She yelled. She grabbed the Maan cut out by his shoulder.
''Why are you doing this, don't you understand we belong together. Don't do this to me. ''
She pushed to cut out a side. It fell on the floor. Something suddenly got into her she ran fell on her knees. and took the cut out in her lap.
''I am sorry Maan this isn't you fault, but Geet's and she will pay for it. How dare she putting a arm on my Maan's shoulder how could she come this close to you.''
Suddenly she pushed to cut out out of her lap again.
''And how dare you promise her you will never hurt her. Maan you will be mine soon and that's my promise to you.''
Again her scary laugh filled the room. Geet was smiling thinking about Maan she fell on her bed rolling and smiling to herself.It was the day of the party. Geet was feeling so happy. She was almost ready. She was just combing her hair while singing to herself.

Suddenly Geet felt two strong arms embracing her from behind.

She turned arround and hugged him. Maan hugged her back. Slowly they broke apart.

Geet nodded both entered the party, walking hand in hand. Two pairs of eyes fumed looking at them hand in hand. Her eyes where fixed on them. She swore Geet would pay for this. Geet felt like someone was looking at her she look back but saw no-one looking at her.

Geet saw his worried face. He really cared a lot for her she smiled and shook her head.

Seeing her smile a smile even came on Maan's face. Just then Geet's eyes saw Sam and Adi walking hand in hand.
''OMG Maan I think Sam is dating Adi.''
Maan saw it too.
''Hmmm.''
Adi and Sam wallked over to them.'

''Haan Maan we both needed to be sure about our feelings first before coming out with this news.''

Before Adi could reply Geet stepped in.

Both said. Then Adi took Sam to the dance floor. Geet looked at Maan and noticed him lost somewhere.

Maan changed his mood quikly he didn't want Geet to know he didn't trust these two.He went on his knees.

Geet giggled and put her hand in his. Maan lead her to the dance floor. He put his hand on her waist. Geet put her head on her shoulder while they slow danced. Someone was going mad in anger. While Geet had the best night of her life. Maan dropped her home. He kissed her head.
''I really enjoyed Geet.''
''So did I Maan I had the best day of my life today.''
Maan smiled and took her in a hug. After they parted Geet walked into her room to get a peacefull sleep. She was sleeping peacefully when she fell a splash of water on her face she opened her eyes. She tried to move but she couldn't all she saw was someone's shadow.Her arms where tied up.
''Who is this.''
She asked in a terrified voice.
''Geet Handa you touched my Maan with this hand nah.''
The person broke a glass on that arm. Geet screamed in pain.
''This is just a warning remember stay away from my Maan. Or next time the warning will be worse.''
and then the person left. Geet screamed for help and out of pain. But no-one heard her screams. The next day Maan woke up early he decided to suprise Geet he bought a flowers and walked to her room he was about to knock when he realised the door was open he walked inside. The sight infront of him froze him. geet was lying tied up in the bed with blood spots on her arm and on the floor her rushed to her. He freed her took her in his arms and rushed to the hospital on the campus. When Geet opened her eyes Maan kissed her whole face. He had the feeling he would loss her.
