What does staying fit mean to you?
Well, staying fit to me means, just staying fit!
What fitness regime do you follow to keep in shape?
All this while it was Jhalak that kept me fit, but now since I am back to regular shooting schedules, working out becomes tough. So I just try and follow a good healthy diet.
Do you prefer hitting the gym or sticking to normal exercise routines like walking or playing sports?
The ideal workout for me is Dance! I try to avoid the gym, and coming to walks and jogs, well I am pretty bored of them now.
What are the 3 basic things you do daily, to keep in shape?
Drink a lot of water, follow a healthy diet and try to get a good 7-8 hours of sleep everyday. When shooting for Jhalak, I would only manage to get around 4-5 hours of sleep, so I'm just catching up on all of that now.
Do you feel that food and eating healthy play an important part in keeping fit?
Oh yes, of course it does! Following a regular and healthy diet is most important, and specially when exercising and working out is in a tough spot for all of us who are just working around the clock.
Are you conscious of your eating habits and what does your daily diet contain?
I try to avoid fried and oily food most of the times. Besides that, my regular diet contains basic, simple home made Gujarati food. So,whatever I eat is all very light.
Do you believe in the size zero concept that has suddenly taken over everybody these days?
Well, I would really love to, but I don't! Because a size zero body is just very very skinny and doesn't look hot!
A female celebrity body that inspires you?
That would be Sanaya Irani!
A fitness tip for your fans?
Eat healthy and exercise well to always keep fit.
