Part - 53
CS came to call them for dinner and then they realised d time ,, Adi said surprisingly ..
Adi: OMG!! We talk too much today ,, I met u and talked to u after a long gap Maan ,, u forgot ur college friend ,, in KC we maintained our professional status but we can talk outside and Maan nodded on this. He felt bad that he neglected his childhood friend who was very trusted and pure by heart. They all came inside and went to dining hall for dinner ,, servants placed the meal on d table and CS served them. All enjoyed their meal with little leg pulling of each other remembering college days. Geet became little quiet and Maan felt that ,, he looked at her and nodded slightly in a no when she looked at him . She gave a weak smile to him in reply ,, she was amazed that he was thinking about her and observing her.
They were finishing their meals when Mr Ranjeet Khurana entered in d house ,, CS brought him in dining hall where all were sitting ,, everybody wished him. Maan was surprised to see him at this time and asked ..
Maan: Dad u r here this time? You didn't told me that u r coming today.
Mr Ranjeet: Dev told me about Geet's accident and i told him that i will come to meet her tonight. He came near Geet and lovingly caresses his head and asked: kaisi ho beta ? jyada chot to nahi aai na?(Geet was touched with his love and care)
Geet: nahi sir, mai theek hu ,, jyada chot nahi hai ,, kaafi theek ho gai hai. App aaeye dinner kijiye.
She called CS to serve dinner to Mr Ranjeet and he immediately served him. Mr Ranjeet happily sat there and started his talking to all one by one . Dev and Meera were describing him about their trip and specially the Hariduwar part. Mr Ranjeet was listening everything with all interest and enjoying his meal with these youngsters group.
All came out in living room after dinner and Adi said Meera to bring her bags to go. Meera brought her bags and they all came out to bid her bye ,, she hugged Geet and insisted her to take care of her ,, she promise her to visit her TM and at weekend. Adi and Meera left to their home and Mr Ranjeet too said that he was also leaving for home ,, he came near Geet ,, cupped her face and placed a pack on her forehead ,, he blessed her and said to take good care of her. Maan brought a small bag from his room and gave that to his Dad saying that they and Geet brought these things for d family. Mr Ranjeet took that happily and thanked Geet ,, he blessed all of them and went back to KM.
Dev and Maan went to their room and Geet came in hers ,, She changed to her night dress ,,, she looked at the time ,, picked her phone and pressed some buttons. She waited for reply and after some ringing she got d reply from other side ... Hello Geet Beta
Geet: hello Pa ,, how r u? ( she was speaking in a low voice)
Mr Handa: i am fine beta ,, how r u?
Geet: I m fine Pa
Mr Handa: what happened beta u r sounding low ,, everything is fine na?
After listening his Pa Geet sensed that there was something fishy in afternoon drama but she was very angry seeing them here and wanted to clear everything .
Here Maan changed his dress for bed and decided to visit Geet to remind her about her med. He knew well that she didn't apply d ointment herself. He was at her bedroom door and heard that she was talking to some one ,, when he heard Pa he understood that she was talking to her father. He stopped there ,, outside her room to wait. She was talking normally to her father.
Inside d room Geet was busy in talking to her Pa .
Geet: Pa, why do u send ur family to my house?
Mr Handa: what!! I didn't send anybody ,,, who were there and when?
Geet: Your dear wife and son were here with a guy Vikram for match making and said that u selected him for me.
Mr Handa: what!! I didn't select anybody ,, i don't know anything about it beta ,, trust me.
Geet: then who gave them my address ,, they were here from last 2 days and u didn't know about it ,,
Mr Handa: they were not here but she told me she was going to visit her cousin ,, i really don't know that they were there. Geet i knew u can't stand them then how could i send them there alone when i m here?
Geet: I didn't want to know what she told u and what is happening in ur family? You and your family have ur life and i have mine. I never interfere in your family matters and hope no one from ur family try to interfere in mine. Make them clear never try to threat me otherwise next time i won't think that they belong to u.
Mr Handa: Geet calm down beta ,, i'll warn them ,, it will never happen again. Why r u angry with me? I didn't know anything. Did they misbehave with u?
Geet: Kiya bhi ho to aap kya ker lenge? Kuch nahi . unhe maine choda hai aapki wajah se ,,, I respect u because my Mom loved u and married u ,, u r my biological father ,, My Mom is no more and i m no more a part of ur family. Now u have ur family so keep them with u ,, mere peeche mujhe dekhne wala koi hai ya nahi iski tension aapki family ko karne ki jaroorat nahi hai ,, mujhe meri life ke sath kya karna hai wo mera decision hoga ,, as a father i just inform u and i think that was sufficient for u. Waise bhi isse jyada aapne kabhi kuch chaha bhi nahi.
Mr Handa: essa nahi hai Geet , i know i was wrong but i love u beta.
Geet: It's too late now Pa . OK bye and GN.
She cut d call and threw d phone on bed. Maan peeped in d room and saw that she was standing near d window and looking outside blankly immerse in her thoughts. He knocked at d door to gain her attention and she turned to look at d door ,, she gestured him to come in and asked ..
Geet: tum abhi tak soe nahi?
Maan: tum bhi to nahi soi ,, I came to remind u about ur meds. U were on phone so didn't want to disturb u.
He took d ointment from pet table and came near her to apply.
Geet: mai laga lungi .
Maan: yeah , i knew ,, tum kaisa lagaogi . Chalo chup-chaap lagwao .
He was applying ointment on her bruises and she was standing quietly.
Maan: Papa se baat ker rahi thi?
Geet looked at him instantly but Maan was busy in his work.
Release yourself of those who cause you pain and suffering. Surround yourself with only those who bring love and joy into your life. Do this and your whole world changes. Do this and you will walk down the path of True Happiness.
