Geet was still on bed staring at her mom's portrait with numerous questions running in her mind. "Maa teri beti ki kismat itni achi hai uski maa ki yaad nahi hai aur ye photo mai dekh rahi hu ye tho sirf ek painting tha. Aap ki chehra bhi nahi patha hai muje" complained geet tear escaped from her hazels.

"Papa ki naam nahi patha hai muje na maa ki naam kisi beti hu mai" thought geet with longing eyes she cried long night as the pepers were tored apart.

"Ab wo meri dost hai maa" said geet sitting beside the portrait on floor.

"So how is your son in law work" asked ranjith descending stairs while talking on the phone. Naina didn't hear his words but dadi is smart enough to pay attention. She can only listen one side conversation but heard that carefully as it is about his grandson.

Maan's hear cried listening to her mumbling "wo mera nahi hai wo nahi ayegi". He don't know about whom she is talking but his heart saying it is him only.

"Geet see I am here maan open your eyes" asked maan softly hugging her close to his heart. Maan also not feeling good because of his long day work stayed patting geet's back murmuring something. Geet snuggled close to him taking his warmth completely submitting herself to him.
