The Downpour... Part 86

Though Geet decided not to go still she was very desperate to tell Maan everything. But first she calms herself down. She sat on bed and drunk cold water, after a while she felt relaxed.

"Geet, why are you worrying about her? You know very well that she must be playing another plan so just take opportunity from it, don't make it hyper! Haan.. I should talk Maan first, should wait for him and then think what to do next''

With the sudden call she had become fidgety but after thinking over it, she felt that it was worthless to think more until she talks Maan. She thought to again call him when got Annie call instead. Geet said that due to network problem phone had disconnected that time.

Annie said she would message her Arjun number without asking any question. Geet thanked her saying her one friend needed to know some information about the area where Arjun office is located that's why she wanted to talk him. Annie convinced with the reason, they talk for while when Geet got Maan call in waiting,

"Annie, Maan is calling I talk you later''

After Annie phone cut Geet received Maan call and talked.

Maan was in meeting when Geet called him. He had planned to come here with her only but she messaged about her shopping thing. She even did not reply back of his' miss you' message,. In entire meeting he had been waiting for her reply and at the end she said she is going back mansion instead of coming office back, his frustration increased. When she called him few minutes back, he did not talk her properly and then waited for her call back eagerly with the wish of she would pacify him but when did not get any, he worried thinking if she is alright! He knew she never would leave him like this after knowing very well that he was upset and he called her immediately.

Geet took call and before she could say a word, Maan almost shouted in worry,

"Are you okay Geet??''

Geet smiled, she knew he would never leave her alone and like magic her heart forgot to fear and mind started working again in normal.

"Haan Maan I'm fine'

"Hm!!''

Again he came back in his previous upset mood just with the intention of being manao-fying.

"Maan I wanted to tell you something''

"Bolo''

"Maan Asha had called me ..'' and she described everything.

Maan became alerted with this news, his mind started running fast to get the clue of Asha purpose of calling her.

"And what did you answer her Geet''

"Mai ghabra gayithi, I could not think anything and said I will go''

"Geet you're not going anywhere, I am coming to pick you, where are you now?''

"I'm in office'

"What!! But Geet you had told that will be going back Mansion!! Why did you lie me?''

While talking Geet heard his car engine sound and understood, he had already started driving to her. Geet was not sure whether she should tell about her surprise but then hid, said she wanted to complete her pending files.

Though Maan angered with her carelessness yet didn't want to make her more stressed scolding her. He said her to be ready he will be reaching there soon.

Geet changed in her suit. She came down and started waiting for Maan and meanwhile called Asha and said, she is stuck in traffic will be reaching there soon.

Maan reached there after some time and both started driving toward mansion. Maan was still in wonder what next should execute when Geet said she wants to go the place,

"Geet are you gone mad! You know she must be trying to harm you however you want to go there?''

He was furious.

"Yes Maan, I want, I have to do this. I want to see how low she can fall. Maan if she knows about me being in Delhi she can also possibly know that we are together and then she would be more alert and conscious about us. She would start thinking bigger to spoil our peace or possibly can be vanished completely from our lives but I want punishment for her Maan. I want to make her face what she had given to me, the fear, those restlessness of day and night I want to gift her back and for that I am ready to take any trouble because I know, I will be safe, you will be there for me to make me safe'

Maan cupped her face lovingly again defeated with her trust on him.

"But Geet we don't know anything what she had planned, what level of trouble you will have to face there and I can't let you face any of them'

"That's why I want to go there and see what she had planned Maan and this is what you also had said me. Maan I want to help you, you wanted to know what would be she doing next and this is our chance to get it know. Maan try to understand, now I have you with me, what if in your absence she tries to harm me, what will I do then. I want peace in our life, I can't spend days thinking what she will be doing next to make trouble for us, I want to end this game straightway and for this, I would have to go there. Please Maan..''

Maan had no heart to let her go but she was adamant. He also knew that she was right, what if in his absence she does something. He could not trust over Asha ability as she could do anything, stoop any low. Finally he agreed. They drove toward the house.

"Maan stop here!''

Geet said him to park car little far from house. She did not want anyone to know that she was not alone. She started to come out when Maan held her hand,

"Geet you are not going alone and I don't want any further argue on it!!''

"But Maan..''

"Now if you say any more word, I'm driving back to mansion Geet''

Geet nodded, she knew this time it would not be that easy to make him understand.

"One min Geet'

Maan made her wear a Bluetooth in ear and kissed her cheek, caressing it saying,

"Please take care Jaan'

She nodded smiling. Both came down and started walking on road mingling fingers together. It was less crowded area with middle level houses across road. For some far they walked together then Geet requested him to walk on little distance otherwise there would not be any use coming here if anyone see them together.

She stopped before the house, it was two floor building. She looked back where Maan was hiding behind a car and was constantly keeping eyes on her. She rung doorbell. A girl came from inside and talked with Geet and took her inside. As door been closed Maan rushed and started looking for any way to go inside.

Asha got call from guy that Geet reached and she was alone.

As he cut phone she smirked and started working over her second plan, she changed the sim of phone, (An exported one), called police and said,

"Sir I know the place you can find a gang with much illegal stuffs like guns, drugs and all and also they had kidnapped and kept a girl there. Please do hurry otherwise a girl dignity would be on stake Sir!!!'' And she cut call.

"I burned my all problems in alone fire!!!''

She smirked in evil.

The girl led geet inside and they reached to first floor. She told Geet to sit and wait there and herself went to call someone. Geet was very scared now,

"Maan.. are you there?'' she whispered.

"Haan Geet don't worry.. I am here and listening you, ''

Hearing his voice she felt relief. She roamed around the room. It was small house well furnished and looking like belonged to any rich personality. She thought to get clue how many people was there and she started descending down. She reached to a living hall area and found a room attached, door was slightly opened. She tried to peep inside. She felt more than 3 men were there and all were drinking, then suddenly her eyes fell on mirror where she saw a reflection of a man and shocked to identify him. He was same guy came to rob her, she started shivering in fear. Now she understood Asha intention and hatred reached on edge for her in Geet heart. Suddenly she found one man eyes on her and she was to catch but before he could hold her she runs to up and locked door from inside and started breathing heavily.

She fumbled with words and was trying to talk Maan but he was not speaking anything when suddenly someone knocked her door. She became more scared found the knob was being twisted, she tried to get something to hit him, but did not find anything, she crept back in fear tried to hide somewhere and hid behind wardrobe. She stopped her breath, covered mouth with Dupatta but her heartbeat was enough to make sound and then suddenly found door was opened with bang!

Her breath stuck in throat she closed eyes in fear, she was shaking badly, was covered in sweat and suddenly a hand touched her shoulder, she felt like she was dead.

"Geet!!''

She heard Maan. She turned instantly and found him there, she could not believe it as true, kept staring him with blank teary eyes.

"Geet it's me Jaan.. ' He cupped her face shook her to get her back in sense. Then she understood it was not her illusion but he was really there, in front of her and she was safe! She clung on him tight crying...
