it is really very painful for Geet to hear that her parents died not in accident but murdered...but Maan is bearing all this truth from some yrs...how must he have been in pain but he never came in front of Geet because may be not to attract those people's attention towards Geet...so she can be safe far away from this danger...may be his own parents are also murdered along with Geet's and he was fighting to dig out truth and can take revenge ...he may be risking his life but keeping Geet safe by not coming in front of her...may be when killers came to know about Geet being Mohinder's daughter now they are after her life to kill her so Maan has to kidnap her to save her life...
