The Downpour... Part 58
"Geet you take rest, I am coming back in a moment"
Maan said and went out leaving her alone with her vivid thoughts about this family. She had met them just few days back yet it seemed she had become the part of this people. How easily Maan accepted her, his life and Dadima, she never asked or doubted her intention but from the very first day she started caring for her, it was amazing to be felt. Everything was looking like a strange dream which was becoming true. How quickly her life took change and Maan entered in her life being more than just a need but wish of be alive.
"What are you thinking Geet!'
Maan was back and found her still in same position in which he had left her. She smiled. "Nothing'
"Hm! Take this' he gave a pain killer. "Dadima said you to take this'
He made her have pill. He was watching her still lost somewhere, had not concentration in present. He held her hand lovingly, "what happened Geet, what are you worrying about?', He removed curls from over her forehead.
"I'm not worrying Maan, just thinking something'
"And what's that?'
"Actually I was thinking how everything changed within few days. I had never thought that after coming here would change my life abruptly''
Maan, "Do you find this change worthless Geet?' He asked with utmost curiosity.
"No Maan. This is the most wonderful change of my life being'' She hugged him. "I cannot say enough thanks to Babaji for everything, my whole life would look less if I will start to express my gratitude for him Maan'
"Sach..' He stiffened hug.
She nodded. "You don't know Maan what you have given me in few days. Now I have only one request' She looked him emotionally.
"Kya'
"please don't ever try to take it back Maan, I'll rather die'
He immediately closed her mouth with his hand nodding no. He kissed her head.
"Geet you don't know what place you keep in my life. Even I can't give correct answer but I only know, you were the most desired wish of my life which has been fulfilled. Now not in my dream I can think of loosing you Geet'
His answer filled her heart with heavenly satisfaction. She hugged him tighter than ever to hold this moment in her embrace, not to let it slip ever.
"Now you should sleep for some time. You looking tired'
She agreed. She slept comfortably after feeling of lack of pain and also in presence of her love, in no time she went in deep slumber.

At night in dining table, Maan and Dadi came and took their seat. Dadi had sent servant to call Geet and he came back without her and said she was in deep sleep.
SD said let Geet sleep. She started eating when saw Maan was silent. Was not having anything. "What happened Maan, start eating beta'
"Wo Dadima, i'm not feeling hungry now, will eat later' He pushed plate away and started to stand up.
Dadi knew the reason, she chuckled. "Maan you don't need to worry beta, I will make sure to make her have her dinner when she will be awake later. At least you continue yours'
Maan was caught. He said genuinely,
"Dadima, she hasn't had anything since morning and everything just because of me. She was angry because of me and also got hurt. She was in pain and I had forced her to work now at least this much I can do for her in return. Anyway I have to make important call so I will eat later, you don't worry Dadi'' he smiled.
"Okay Beta, but don't starve!!'
He smiled and left. He made few calls and after an hour went back to see Geet, if she was awake but she was still in sleep effect. He went and softly sat next to her, observed her features with his naked eyes. It looked he was going drown in her love so deeply that everything looked so worthy in her. Even in her sleep he could see her smile and he knew, it was him only behind her closed eyes. He waited for her to be awake but could not gather heart to break her sleep. He stood up after some time and turned to leave when she held his hand. He stopped, looked back. She was awakening.
"So you were up?''
He again sat near. She nodded no and kept his hand under her cheek. "When you were going away from me, my sleep broken'
"Did I disturb your dreams' he caressed her hair lovingly.
She shook head smiling, ''I am seeing what I had been dreaming', She said then shied down. Maan smiled in thrill.
"Hm toh ab baante banana bhi sikh gayi ho!!'
"Sangat ka asar hai!!''
"Achha!!'
She nodded smiling. She looked toward time, sat up immediately. "Maan its night, why didn't anyone wake me up??Did you have your dinner?''
Maan said no.
"Why?'
"How could I without you when I knew you didn't have anything since morning'' He said lovingly but it increased Geet worry.
"But Maan why did you do this!! I mean why you skipped your dinner, Dadima would be worried about you!!'
Suddenly Maan planned to tease her.
"That I don't know what she would think. Anyway I told her that because of you I would not have anything. After all you're our guest here. How could I eat when my guest is starving, hm?''
"Because of me?? Maan what you did, what would she think about me!! And you denied on her face, she must be feeling bad!!'' Her tension increased. "You shouldn't have done like this!!''
"Oh, you're right Geet, I shouldn't have refused directly!!'' He think for a while then said shocked, "Ohho.. so that's why she was looking upset when I left from there!!"
"Was she upset?'' She asked anxiously.
Maan nodded making tensed face.
"Maan what will you do now??'' She held his arm in anxiety. He looked her for sometimes like thinking something, "I have an idea'
"What??''
"You'll go and pacify her!''
"Whatt me!!!! Maan are you mad, how would i.. I mean why me. You made her angry it should be you only who would pacify her!!''
"Haa geet but it was all your mistake. I mean because of you only I refused having dinner with her and now it would be you only who will make her happy, samji tum!!''
"But Maan..''
"No Maan.. Remember only dadi, my sweet Geet!!' he gave teasing smile and she made angry face which turned into cry in next moment.
