Bad Romance

LONG AGO WE LAY IN

LEAVING US WITH

OUR BAD ROMANCE ...

Two days ago -18 Jan 1993

Shrrshrrr!!!!!!!!!

After the long blue night ,the blaring of the alarm clock gave a rude awakening .The lady rolled about lethargically for couple of minutes before getting off the bed .She strolled towards the frame which was hung on the front wall of the room .She joined her hand before it and paid obeisance to the Almighty .

"hey babaji! thank u for imparting hope to me by dolling out one more precious day to me ,please keep showering your blessing on me and my daughter babaji "

The almighty grinned looking at his creations, he wondered how he made such varieties where one questions his mere existence and the other thanks him for gifting her another day ,he gave himself a pat on back for creating such bizarre stage where he had such exemplary actors to enact the play called life .

The lady moved towards the bed after offering the prayer of atonement to wake up her little toy baby who was down the drain in her dreams .

"Get up princess ,you have school today" cooed the lady while taking the little girl in her arms

"two minutes mommy" murmured the girl who was trying hard to hid herself in the funky blanket .

"Princess , I want you to get up right now or else mommy is going to be really mad on you" said the lady with austere tone .The change in the tone was enough to make the little girl jump out of her comfy bed .

"Mommy don't get mad on me,see I got up ,now I am a good girl na"

"Yes my princess is a good girl,now go and brush your teeth or I will call up your dentist uncle to complain."

"No mommy ,don't I m going see"saying this the girl rushed towards the bathroom so as to save herself from the painful and dreadful dentistry.

"Phew thank god mommy didn't take that dentisht thing sheliously,babaji I don't like that dentisht uncle ,he alwabays does some weird things in my mouth which is vely painful ,thank u for saving me"

"Princess to whom you are talking ,come on brush your teeth fast baby ,you will get late for school" the lady blared from outside which was enough to remind the little girl about her school

"Bye mommy ,I will mish you" said the little girl who was all ready to board the school bus

"Bye princess ,remember one thing always baby mommy loves you very much"

"Ok mommy bye ,love u"

Soon the bus leaving the lady behind

"I love you too baby" the lady murmured to herself ,she knew the time was slipping out of her hand like sand and alas !! there was nothing which she could do .

"Why babaji why ?why me only"she knelt down infront of her bitter fate and cried bitterly.

Suddenly she was struck by immense pain in her head ,and she fainted then and there ,helpless she was ,she wanted to run to her daughter and savor her last moments but the fate was playing nasty games with her .

The mob on the road rushed towards her everyone showed their concern but out of those fickle -minded people only one came to lend his hand to the lady who was lying unconsciously on the road.

The man turned the lady on her back to see her face which was marred with sufferings and longing to see her little angel.

The man was struck with happiness and fear as soon as he identified the "lady", happiness because he at least came across her existence and fear because she was not in condition he imagined her to be .

"Ambulance" the man shouted on top of his voice .

Soon the blaring siren of the ambulance approaches ,the man helped the boys to carry the lady on the gurney mumbling only four words "u cant ,give up"all the way .

The blaring sound started to dissipate ,as it head towards its destination .

As the operation theatre light turned off ,the man rushed towards the first person who got out of the OT and well he was none other than the doctor .

"How is she doing Dr"-the anxious man asked the Dr ,his face was filled with worry ,pain and helplessness.

"ahh ,that's hard ,Mr.."-the doctor stopped abruptly and looked the man with a perturbed expression .

"Mr Yash Singhania " the replied promptly .

"Mr Singhania ,I m sorry to inform you that she is critical ,I don't think she will be able to make it" the doctor gave away a sympathetic look towards Yash.

"Please doctor ,I beg u please try to bring her back"

"I will try my best young man ,would you mind to tell me how you are related to her" asked the doctor

"I am her brother" replied yash after a contemplating a bit .

"OH I see ,well I will recommend you to gather all your relatives here err...I mean though we trying our best but you never now what life throws out to you the next second" the doctor left after giving his expert'suggestion which refused to help yash in any way .

"She is alone doctor ,she is alone"yash muttered to himself .

After taking charge of his overflowing emotions ,he ran towards the nearest PCO to call his wife .

He quickly dialed the seven digit number only to hear the sweet voice of his wife

"Hello,may I know who is this"a voice can be heard from the other end .

"Meera"yash replied in a pained voice

"Yash ,is that you what happened you sound so low ,tell me dear what happened ,hello yash can you hear me ,hello"meera was waiting desperately to hear her husbands voice .

"Meera ,I found her ..i found her meera hahaha . I found her"yash cried on the phone which attracted the attention of the man sitting outside the booth .

"Yash ,are u serious ,how she is she opps silly me wrong question , where is she??where are you ??"meera ranted out all in one go .

"Meera,I m at CITY HOSPITAL ,xyz rd"replied yash

"Hospital"gasped meera "Yash, is everything all right. What are you doing there??"

"Meera , you come here first .I will tell you everything"

"ok"replied meera apprehensively ,she till now had somewhat figured out that something was definitely fishy ,she grabbed her purse and rushed towards the taxi stand .

All the way the only thing that troubled her was ...

How was she??

A/N:

Yup I know I have again left a cliffhanger here(oh no not again ) ,but what to do I had no option .ready to take all those shoes and tomatoes coming in my way with a supersonic speed!!!!

Ok I have some things to clear up a bit here J

Well u will find the little girl speaking gibberish here ,don't take it seriously ,she does not have some disorder its just that she is a small baby .

And the who is geet and maan will be cleared soon ,I know u guys desperately want to know the mystery behind .But peeps u just need to trust me a bit here ,becoz the plot needs this set up that's why I m going with the flow . I myself know the curiosity which arises when the plot is little misty becoz at the end of the day even I m a reader .:)

U Guys will find the *PCO*convo little weird (don't worry even I did lol!!!)in the era of ipads and iphones (whatsapp tooJ)but its 1993 we are talking about when these were not relevant unlike today,and in India the market for mobiles was just opening up .i bet apple must have no clue during 93 what an ipad would be like ,anyways bless apple for their bizarre creation .

enough of my bak bak ,so this was for today .
