hi friends...
i think many of my friends do not know about a special incident that happened in my life last week...i want to share this with all my friends/maaneetians in the form of a maaneet OS...just read it if u have time...
MY STORY:
the story of two souls maan and geet and their journey of becoming maaneet..
geet: a girl from a middle class family living in kerela..
maan: a middle class boy living in punjab..
geet's mom belonged to punjab and during summer vacations geet, her mom-rano and her bro-yash would go to punjab to spend a month with her grandmother.. and would return after the vacation..
maan's mom was sister of geet's mom.. so maaneet- not offficially now used to meet sometime during their vacation..
geet used to admire maan a lot and slowly that admiration turned to crush.. then when it turned to love she didn't knew..so to avoid creating problems between the families she started to avoid maan so that her feeling could be in control..
even maan noticed this thing but he could not do much coz they meet very rarely once in a year and after sometime the trips were also reduced..
one day suddenly from somewhere geet once received a call from some unknown number.. usually she never received any call from unknown number..but then she thought something and received the call..
and that call was the starting of the eternal love story.. the call was none other than maan's call..he wanted to talk to her but she was not giving him a chance to talk…then somehow he had to get her number..
slowly they started to talk..geet learned to hide her feelings while talking to him..slowly she became comfortable with him like before..but still her feeling were inside her only..
geet had turned 19 that year..on her birthday maan had called at 12 to wish..geet felt very special..during that talk maan had asked something which had talked her breath away..
here is the convo between maaneet at night 12 in english..
maan: happy birthday geet
geet: thank u..
maan: what are u doing??
geet: nothing..i was going to sleep..what are u doing??
maan: bas was thinking about u..
geet: good joke..
maan: really..ok leave it tell me shall I say yes from your side??
geet: yes!! for what??
maan: arre for our marriage..
the whole world shook from for geet..she was not believing..she knew maan was playing a prank on her coz this was his pass time..
geet: maan stop joking..please.. u know I don't like these kind of jokes..enough jokes for a day..
maan: limit yaar..i am serious yaar and u are telling that I am joking..
geet: if u are gonna talk like this then I am seriously going to cut the call..
maan: geet geet…listen…I am really not joking…
geet: maaannn…stop this…
maan: then is this a yes???
the line went dead…geet was dumb struck… she was going crazy with maan's this behaviour.. but somehow she slept for the day.. morning her mom and dad wished her.. then her mom asked that whether maan talked to her..
now geet was again confused.. she thought about yesterday's convo. but hen ignored it thinking he might be joking and her mom might be asking some other thing which he dint talk..she asked her mother about what was she asking..
"arre about ur marriage!!!" said her mom as it was l=the most obvious thing to ask.. " about marriage??!!!" geet was blank.. that means he was telling the truth… about their marriage.. geet did a little bhangra within herself after hearing it from her mom..
"yes marraiage..maan said that he would ask to u and tell the truth.." said her mother… "now what more is remaining??"
"actually u both vere married in childhood itself..maan knew this..but not u…v thought to tell u but then maan itself made a plan to make u agree then tell the truth.."
geet was now grinning widely but tried to control her smile… after her mom went she went to their home temple and thanked babaji 10000 times for fulfilling her only wish…she was not in a condition to think anything..
she rushed to her room..took the photo she was hiding in her cupboard and caressed it..slowly all the moments in which she used to admire him came in front of her…then she started waving dreams of the future…
suddenly a message beeped… it was maan's message… her heart started beating frantically..
it said "atleast now do u believe me??" geet replied.. "sure…"
there was no reply for some time… she became restless…her mom called her for some work..when she returned there were 25 messages form maan..all said only one thing…
"I LOVE U"…geet was gonna faint with this…but then she kept on reading on…another message popped.. "now ur turn.."
geet became very shy and nervous.. "about what??" she replied..
"about what I said!!!"
geet was getting blusy-blushy… "I don't know what u are talking about…bye..i will talk to u after.."
and till now she had never said it to him…when ever she used to talk to him and he would ask her she would ignore that….
after some days maan had to go abroad for 2 years to complete his masters..so the elders decided to do the engagement now and marriage they would decide further….now they were officially engaged..!!!

hope my story had reached u and i have done justice to mine and my fiancee's feelings...
this is my story….i wanted to tell u all this good news that the person I admire the most is now always gonna be with be…we are officially engaged….and this is my dedication for him to tell him that he is very special to me...
I want to thank all my friends who's best wishes was with me…
hope u like my story in the form of maaneet..
the day 14-7-2013 has become a memorable day of my life….if possible I will share the special feelings of that day….
