The Downpour... Part 41
Geet was sitting on couch, which was kept outside of room which Asha had been shifted in. She was feeling very tired and her wound was giving her extreme pain now and she was feeling hunger too. Her eyes were repeating touring toward the direction where Maan should have come from and in wait; she closed eyes and slept.
After a while Maan came back and saw sleeping Geet. She was in sitting position with folding knees on up to the couch. Her posture was uncomfortable and giving her pain, that he could guess seeing those temporarily wrinkle on her face. She was loosely clutching her arms which had bandage and faded groans were coming out from mouth.
He came and sat beside her. He slowly made her head rested on his shoulder. Finding the warmth Geet in her sleep, slips closer and snuggles into his embrace. Maan let her do this, did not disturbed. He brought his arms around her from back and made her fitted cozily. He was caressing her wounded arm and slept too after a time period, resting head over hers.
His warm breathes pressurized Geet open her eyes and she found him sleeping peacefully. That made her smile. Though she knew, spending a night with a man was not right; still her heart was defending her ethics. His closeness was teasing her senses but did not want to break his sleep; she let their position stayed like same. For the whole night she could not sleep, her ranging thoughts did not let her close her eyes overnight.

The first sun-rays climbs down from sky and Geet found herself tightly nuzzled between his arms, like she was the most desiring toy of a child. But this time it could be awkward to be seen by people around. She tried to move away but Maan did not let her move. His arms were holding her so protectively. She wanted to leave before he would be awakening and slowly she could come out from his hold, without making him aware. She went to get fresh.
Maan found lack of warmth, he woke up with jolt when remember Geet, was not there. He started searching for her around. He went to check inside room if could have found there but she was not there inside also. He was to come out when heard Asha was moaning in pain. To check if she was alright or in need of something, he went near and bent to hear what she was saying and at same time she opened her eyes, found Maan in front of her.
"Are you okay?'' In concern Maan asked.
She was shocked seeing her boss there. "Did he come for me?" She thought. She tried to get up when Maan stopped.
"Dont! You need rest!!"
She liked his attention. His worry gave her misconception that he had come for her only. She gave stressed expression showing she was in unbearable pain.
"I think I should call the doctor!"
Maan turned to go when she held his hand to stop him. Maan became stiffed feeling her touch.
"Thank you sir!"
Maan nodded and was about to remove her hold when Geet entered in and found Maan there. She stared their hold. Maan immediately removed his hand from her, fearing what if Geet again mistakes him. He was scared thinking her reaction.
"Sir aap yaha? "
"How is she sir!!" Geet had fear for Asha, she did not give heed over anything else. Maan was relieved whereas Asha was cursing her under breath for coming in wrong time. Maan left saying going to call doctor leaving Geet there.

After few hours Maan decided Geet should go back home. Asha was better and doctor said no one was needed there and this time Geet could not refuse him.
"Let's go Geet I drop you!!''
"No, Maan I'll' ''
"I know you can manage yourself Geet, but I'm not going to leave you alone, got it!! That way, I have to talk to you something''
She had nothing left to deny now. She came and sat next to him and both drove off. They were to reach when Maan got call from Dadi. Adi had already informed her about accident and everything.
"Maan Bete, zara apne unko phone dijiye!!'' She said playfully.
"Unko?'' Maan did not understand but when heard Dadi naughty laugh, he understood. Her chuckle made him blush slightily which he hid from Geet, who anyways, was not heeding to him.
"Geet, my Dadi wants to talk to you!' He handed over phone to Geet.
"To me?'' Geet felt strange, listening Dadi name. "Dadi wants me to marry you'' started ranging in her mind and her nervousness increased. Somehow she talked.
"How are you Beta? And how is your friend?''
"I am fine Dadi. Asha is also better now''
They chatted for few minutes and in last Dadi offered her to come KM till Asha recovers completely. Geet was surprised with the gratitude of this old lady, who was so worried for her mere employee but least did she know that Dadi wanted to bring home her grandson happiness only. Now there was no doubt left in Dadi mind about Maan feeling toward Geet but she had to know what Geet thinks. Other day, she had not got any chance because of Geet sudden disappearing but now she would not lose any chance to bring them closer.
"And nothing can be better then this, that Geet spend days in mansion with Maan!!'' Mischief stared playing over her face.
"Haan Geet, you are new in Delhi, how would you manage taking care of her alone Beta''
"Dadima, I know you are worrying for me and believe me, it's the best things for me to find an elder like you in unknown place but my friend is my responsibility Dadi and I want to carry it myself. Please Dadima don't force me to come there, I wouldn't refuse you''
Along with Dadi, Maan also impressed with her mannerism. His respect for her increased umpteenth times more.
"It's okay Beta. I know you can do it better'' They ended their chat. Though Maan did not have idea what was running inside Dadi mind that she offered Geet staying in mansion, but his heart had already started jumping in joy with the thought Geet would stay near him, always. His eyes could be able to see her face in front of his eyes, nothing could be more wonderful sight then this, and he also knew that if Dadi had decided something, she must be making plans to make it in work, for sure.
They reached Geet place. Same like always, she found him following her. Geet knew he would not leave her alone and this time, it was her wish too. They silently reached to her flat and walked in. Neither Maan had to convince her to let him be with her, nor did Geet ask anything. It was like, both understood each other silence.

"Maan you take rest, I make coffee for you'
Saying Geet left to kitchen and Maan went to get fresh in Geet room's washroom.
After sometimes, Geet came back with coffee mug,
"Maan your coffee' '' But saw, he was sleeping on her bed, comfortably snuggled in her blanket and dreaming about her only'
Precap : Maan comes out taking fresh shower. Water drops were swinging on the edge of his messy hairs. Suddenly Geet realizes him near, very near and a drop from his hair kissed her skin followed by Maan..
