In Daddi's room after few hours…..

Monologue

Savitri Devi she was sitting on sofa.Alone holding a picture in her hand.Whose Picture was that ? Ya Picture...Picture of trio. Proud Savitri Devi sitting in front of her both grand sons Maan andDev.Both brothers standing behind her chair placing one hand each on her shoulder .Dev with great smile on his face and Maan was as usual his choosy smile

She rolled her hand over picture."Where I was at fault ? Even after having everything I hav nothing "

Older memories flashed in her mind ...disturbing her...not letting her take rest for a moment.This was not momentary that she is such in deep grief everything was happening from past two years

Self talk "Maan k Dadaji hume tab chod gaye jab Raj sirf 8 saal k thy. I single handed ran business and raised my only son up with best upbringing in hop that one day My son will take his father's place.Even he did same what I dreamt about. My son was best son in this whole world..in this whole world…my son..."she started to cry bitterly.

She suddenly felt a lil disturbance...like some one's presence just outside the door.Over hearing every thing….

Ashi was there with tear filled eyes.

"Sorry Daddi Maa mujhe apki baat nahi sunni chahea thi " she was feeling guilty for her mistake

"No no beta…this old lady have no one to talk...is liye hum khud se he baat kar letay hai…plz come in " Daddi tried to made her feel comfortable

"Ji " Ashi nodded

" But Ashi why u left Aarav alone beta…unko bhi yahi le aati.He is just a year old."Wiping her tears Daddi got up from chair.

" Daddi Maa…Aarav is a very quite baby.He cry hardly.the girl who work here whats her name !!! " tried to remember "yaa Aarti he was playing with her….I thought I should spend some time with you." She cleared.

"Oh that's fine then...she is very responsible girl..no need to worry if Aarav is with her…come "

Daddi grabbed Ashi from wrist and made her sit on chair next to that on which she was sitting.

After silence of few minutes.

" Daddi Maa I heard how much u did love Papa means Dev's Papa but what happened with him that you are in such pain remembering him." Ashi at last broke her silence.

" What happened with him ?...Not just my son but my Bahu too.I mean Dev's mom. Raj was not just a good human but a great businessman too...For family he was playing his role in such a way he always tried to keep every one happy.Even I choose life partner for him Nitya…a perfect girl " sighed Daddi

" Nitya such a beautiful name is this "

" Ya just like her name she was as beautiful ...perfect in every way ...I was happy that my son was happy ...But that happiness was short lived...Hum bhul gaye thay k khushi hamare liye nahi. Maan he was 10 and Dev was 8 years old .They had summer vacations .Unko Nana Nani k ghar chod kar Raj aur Nitya wapis aa rahe thay when they met with an accident .Aur uss accident main dono..." it was hard for old lady to tell more .She started to cry bitterly hugging Ashi.

" Plz Daddi Maa chup ho jaaea….plz u r heart patient …." Ashi consoled her.Petted her back

"Ashi kehte hai na itihaas apne aap ko dohraaa hai (history repeats itself)…Raj was of same age when I lost my husband …In same way Maan n Dev lost their father when they were in same age...This was not less than a death for me..I am dying bit by bit till now.But I had to survive for Maan and Dev.Humne khud ko fir se khadda kiya...Tried to give my best for their future. I succeeded Ashi …I again succeeded Maan brought KC to that heights jo koi nahi soch sakta…"thinking about what she gained after such big loses a calmness was visible on her face

"Just like Maan...Dev might have followed his footsteps but His one decision to marry a girl of his choice who was notsuitable for him in his family's eyes ruined every thing" like she was feeling responsible for everything wrong happened till now

" No beta this is not the fact.Ya it was Maan's wish that Dev should get married to his friend's sister .Jinke sath hamare family he nahi business relations bhi thay.But Dev was in love with you .Is baat ko lekar dono brothers main conflict thay and Dev ne ghar chod diya...But as time passed by Maan started to realize what was right .But before both brothers can resolve their issues .Every thing got finished for alwayz.They can't meet again Ashi "

Nakul came running

" Daddi Maa chote saab ka phone.He is too much angry " sivering Nakul handed cordless to Daddi

"Hello Maan …Daddi ki yaad aa gayi apko "

" Why u always taunt me Daddi..However u can't change …Daddi Maa I am trying ur mobile but switch off aa raha hai…so I had to call at landline." irritated he said

" I can't change like you can't change urself…..HOWEVER I forget to charge phone….waise Daddi kaise yaad aa gayi apko"

"What Addi told me is that true?….U asked Addi to keep every thing secret even from me.." dropped bomb

" Yes I asked Addi to keep this secret .Coz I know you beta….But one thing if u forced Addi to tell the truth .U might hav gotten this info from some where.? "confused Daddi said

" It matters nothing who told me .But main thing is u started to hide...ho ho but this is not new u always hide from me..." laughed Maan tauntingly

" It means u just phoned me to stamp the news.Not for me.? "

" Daddi Maa one thing I wanna tell u I need not this fact get stamped from any one that how much I love you ? How much I care for u ? Maine is liye phone kiya k apko bata du I am coming day after tomorrow. Plz ask Nakul to recheck lighting system in my room once again.There was some fault aur Nakul k sar per itni responsibilities hai wo bhul jaata hai." he gav reason for call

" Need not to make me remember.I know my responsibilities .Every thing is upto date.But YOU REMEMBER one thing don forget that some one is waiting for you here." with heavy heart

" Ji Daddi Maa …I am bit buzy so can't phone u now .C you take care Daddi Maa "even sone heart Maan melted feeling helplessness of her Daddi.Wh was not able to overcome from the grief she was going through
