i didnt comment on part 48 because i was waiting for part 49. however, i knew daadi won't reject Geet. but the entire scenario has come as a surprise and a very good surprise ,a pleasant one i must say 👍🏼

part 48:
Geet did and behaved exactly the way she should have, given her situation and also, the fact that she is not a greedy gold digger. she is a simple eastern girl, who has had a lot of mishaps and ups and downs in her life. at one hand, she is so strongly tied to her moral values, the ethics, the good in her. at the other hand ,and to add to her strong ethical roots, she really does not want to cause any hurt to the one woman who truly came in her life at the time when there was no one to save her, to give her food, shelter, clothing. and aboe all, so much love and respect. her own recognition. for Geet, SavitriDevi is the woman who really is her guardian angel, the mentor who showed her light when there was no apparent way in front of her. when she was so afraid of facing her life again. definitely, a person with morals and a heart as beautiful and strong as Geet's, how can she even think of causing the slightest of hurt to such a person. Geet's thoughts and her decision to convince Maan about leaving the entire thing in Daadima's hands is very wise and it shows how sensible she is even at this tender age.
and the way SD initially behaved when Maan finally disclosed his Mishty's name was nothing alien. yes she had done her guess work but hearing Geet's name from her grandson was still a big deal for her. and to be very rational, she could not have suddenly acted like a filmi daadi and couldn't have instantly hugged her grandson, shouting 'oh u fell in love son, congrats'. because reality is to happen and to be taken differently. more practically instead of drama. SD already said to Maan that if she could come to terms with Dev's choice in the form of NT who really wasn't the honest and selfless type, she trusted Maan's choice more. she knows him more than too well to understand that his choice can not be wrong and he can not go for anything substandard or negative. his selection has to be the best. yet she decided to take time to think ,recall the past, look at everything from a broader perspective.
this update is the lever for all the things which will follow soon. the much needed standpoint.

Wow..Geet's behaviour may also indicates Dadi that she isn't gold digger types girl.. I like Dadi's talk with Geet.. Dadi wants Maan's biwi to be like krishna.. her bahu.. who can be there in each & every step with him in life... But how she accepted NT as Dev's wife..?😕 Maybe she loves Maan more.. 😊

Dadimas past was too touchy... happy to know that such persons exist for real ... the hesitation which geet had was definitely taking me to thoughts of how dadima will react... but more than her yes the way she pleaded geet for hersef took me to surprise...
