The scene in the principal's office with the glimpse to Geet's views was so touching. I really felt for Geet. The way she has made peace with facing rejection time and again that now she has made rejection a part of her but yes in spite of it with each rejection though she makes her shell tougher to penetrate, within she breaks bit by bit that the small flicker of hope that she holds onto starts fading with each time. But Arjun does and is capable of breaking her shell in his own anger. He comes to give her bitter words dipped in sarcasms he is blinded by anger & Jealousy. He fails to realise that he speaks to her more in anger dishing out all bitter words to her that break her hope & resolve but never does speak much words of love that may help her to come together & reassure her. Both of them jump to conclusions without thinking or listening out to the other digging a bigger grave of their love.
For the very first time I so loved Geet's answering back to him.👏 "Why do you have a problem with me going on a lunch date with an eligible bachelor…." He was enraged may be wanting to say that you're not a spinster but a married woman, only His. Her taunt to him about hiding facts from her even after she begged him to come out clear and that whatever he will say she will believe but him remaining mum leading them to this stage was good one … "I never hide. What I did was infront of you. So if you can't digest it better come up with a reason SIR!" I was smiling reading this showing that she will always not take his say with head down when he can't come forth once and say what is in his mind for them. I most loved her utterly satisfying expression on being aware of Arjun's stunned & seething expression after her stating it out to him.😃
The car ride was beautiful in its description with all that was brewing inside between the two couples. 😳😉It was a great culmination of resistance, attraction, avoidance, and then the bang on stirring to actually bring them closer in one way or the other (for both couples). And the beauty to it all was the song "Yeh dil dewaana" I love that song ❤️ Very apt song mingling with the scenes speaking of the varied emotions you showed us. (I guess you really admire Sonu nigam's voice…. What with that heavenly sexy voice you mentioned time and again*wink*)😆
I loved Dia-Satya in that ride. 😳They're surely in that phase of push-pull which is ultimately placing them in the gradual acceptance & being face-face with their true feelings. They both are trying hard to resist but forget that the harder they resist the age old sure shot success formula of push-pull always makes you end up with getting more closer & forces you to feel true feelings for each other. That's what happened in the car ride—they were in close proximity yet trying best to keep distance & continue with the faade avoidance yet were forced to lean on to each other one leaning for support while the other providing the support. Loved that blush on her face while the smirk on his face.😉 You took it to another level in the farewell party. Satya is quite possessive of Dia. 😳 While Dia loved that protection & support from him as she knows & is comfortable with some kind of protection & support to her who has always stood for herself with no support. But Satya provides it to her without making a big deal of it and shelters her needing self who can now lean onto him without her vulnerability being out in the open but shielded by Satya.👏
Arjun was still bitter with the fact that Geet touched Dev's hand when his touch & claim was on her. But buddhu forgets that she just doesn't need actions but words too to reassure her. I agree his actions & gestures have always spoken of his protecting her, being there for her, sharing with her emotions but then he needs to even say it in words as that also is needed for a wounded girl like Geet who has trust issues and insecure past. That was feeling of a zanjeer around him….He somewhere feels she doesn't trust him and judges her through his lens… that Anant will choose Dev over him and Geet has supposedly chosen Arjun over Maan- Uday's choice for her. All this is keeping him back from expressing himself to her as he doubts her trust on him. But ultimately he knows that they're both bound together by a strong chord that can't be broken…. Koi kacchi dor nahi hai…😳👏
The scene at the venue though filmy with her dupata flying, her struggle, him being pulled towards her, he tugging and wrapping her dupata around his hand, sandwiching her and pulling her towards him …. It was filmy style but I loved it all. And then that Kiss…. ❤️ ❤️ But I can understand Geet's view to it all. Arjun felt that expressing himself through the kiss will help them solve it all, whereas Geet needed more assurance. This is always the case. Men feel that expressing self through intimacy or cuddling solves it all as it covers the distance and feels like troubles are gone while women always need more than that they need assurance through words. It is moreover justified for Geet who is in dire need of words of love from Arjun who has been just rewarding her with Anger words. I agree he does speak through his action but then his actions in the hospital with his touch was just the healing to herself that was feeling a filthy touch on her but there are wounds still needing healing g in her, the ones caused to her by people calling her desperate, horny, taunting her with open invitations for intimacy. That push she gave him was to safeguard self worth after taking all those comments she has faced since days. But the push went the wrong way as she forgot that a man as such as Arjun's ego will be badly bruised after such rejection. When she realised the extent of hurt it must have caused him she did run after him… and him not stopping led her to break a small part of her shell… as she called him Arjun and not sir. But he was so blinded that he couldn't see her effort but was just seeing the wound it was causing him as he felt she's using her power on him to make him vulnerable. She tried touching her Arjun but he again pushed her by making boundaries by calling her Ms. Geet. He made her small effort to go to drain by placing the last nail in her insecure self by announcing his leaving her forever, pushing her again in that shell of insecurity, unworthiness, and loneliness.
Awasthy senior did make a timely entry clearing all the cob webs off Arjun's mind.👏 👍🏼 He made Arjun see through Geet's past. Her tears, desperate & longing wait for her Maan, her loneliness and then dejected acceptance of failure of being incapable of being loved by her Maan. He became aware of her trust issues with him and all his earlier doubts were cleared as well as now nothing will keep him from expressing himself in his true form – Maan to her.
The hostel room scene of her lying down all lifeless on her bed was so beautifully explained.👏👏 She felt just darkness within and around her with his absence & fear of him not being there for her. But then when she picked his call knowing he was still there in vicinity she could feel life again with being tuned to sound around her & him…. The ticking clock, owl's sound…. Her life force existed in his presence, in him. He was crying for them, for their past, for his misjudging her… while she was struggling with her own expression of love & effort to make him wait but failed as she didn't know how. I loved it how you showed them being together soaked in each other's presence though at a distance they saw the arrival of another Dawn of their lives. She felt it as last but he will change it to start of many more dawns to spend together. Also then when he cuts the call she feels darkness within again even though the sun had risen.
That gifting of Saree…😳 was so sweet and spoke of his want to see his bride adorned in his colour of love and his ornaments of binding her to him. I also was like…😳😳 reading Arjun's attire description and his whole look for the party….😳
The whole description how they were taking their fill of gazing at each other and not having enough. How they were admiring each other's presence was beautiful… I loved it.❤️
Geet singing that song on Arjun requesting a farewell song was so heart touching. She expressed and bore her heart in front of him as her last effort and way of stopping him from leaving her forever. He showed her own vulnerable side in contrast to what the world knew of her… of being always smiling and heartless as she had used it as a shell to protect self form expectations and fear of breaking down with rejection but she came out of it all just for Arjun to hold him to her. But Arjun demanded the farewell song… I take it as a true farewell song as this will be Arjun's farewell and thereby allowing Maan to make an entry forever in Geet's life…😉
Arjun now is really transforming into Maan who Geet always over powered just by her presence because only that can justify his act at the neem tree. He had to give her reply to her indirect heart's confession thought the song but her goes & tells her she has an incredible voice and he won't compliment her more. Gadha khotta… mude ki baat ki hi nahi.
But the Maan did come out full form mein…. He gave her the ruby a symbol of his love and devotion and acceptance of her as his and only His. …. It was his answer to her heart's confession saying he is there for her now and always…. ❤️ ❤️
Waiting for more… Anant makes me fear what he will do now?? I guess Arjun will tell her about Maan?? What will Geet do now seeing that ruby in her fingers??
