The Downpour... Part 26

"Good morning sir'' Asha wished with extra sugar coated voice. Maan did not reply just gave slight nod in his supreme attitude. But the voice he wanted to hear was silent. Geet was standing all mute without giving a glance to him and that irritated him.

Geet felt his complaining eyes on her but she was so conscious to speak out what he wanted. Finally when she gathered spirit to wish him, lift had stopped and he had left out in anger. She felt bad that could not even greet him at her first day.

She met Adi who helped her understanding the job. Geet was attentively listened him and very soon got to know what had to do. She settled in her desk, did small prayer and started her job.

Maan was very impatient, walking back and fro in thought of Geet, that how should meet her. Though she could have been called easily in his cabin but Maan wanted a little moment with her. He wanted her to see his desire, his love, and his expose of heart that was beating only for her. Geet was around him and he could not feel her near willingly, this was the worst thing he had ever experienced but did not want to force her for any of his wish. He had seen how conscious she was in lift after their little closeness, now he did not want to give her any wrong gesture about his love. He wanted to make her close but on her own will, but how!!'

It was time for him meeting with client. He thought to get fresh and went to refreshing room. He was cleaning hand in wash basin when suddenly his eyes caught something on his shirt, through mirror. He looked closely and found, it was pink lipstick mark on his white collar!

"But how did I get this mark?"

He tried to think and suddenly remembered 'Geet touch on his neck'. His whole body burned on fire, only having the mere thought about her touch. His heart recalled the feel, it was so exciting. Though he wanted to preserve her gift for always but he had another plan in mind. He smirked naughtily.

He returned back in cabin and called reception to send Geet in his cabin with the file.

Maan was very aroused with the thought of feel her near. He was waiting for Geet impatiently and when she knocked. Maan wore the sudden stern expression on his face.

Geet was very nervous to come before Maan after their awkward encounter. The intimacy they had been sharing unknowingly for past two days, were enough to make her feel weak but she tried to be professional. She tried to make herself prepare for facing her boss with full attitude but as she stepped in, her confidence dissolved, seeing him engrossed in his work and he was looking so handsome.

"Handsome??? Geet, what the hell are you thinking,, Stupid girl!!''

Her hands and legs were shaking slightly in tension, how she would control her gasping heart, she was unsure. Murmuring small prayer to Babaji she spoke,

"Good morning sir'' ,In her meek voice, which felt like mild breeze to his ear.

Maan felt freshen after having her in same room, inhaling breathes which she was exhaling and that made him feel better. But as he was in his naughty mood, pretended that did not hear her.

Geet waited for few minutes for his reply then again wished, this time in little bold voice.

"Ohh Geet! I'm sorry didn't hear you!'' He looked up to her and gestured to sit. Geet unwarily felt bad that he did not notice her but then shoved off this weird thought.

"Did you bring the file?''

She nodded. She slipped file to him and Maan read for some time.

"Did you check this point Geet?' He showed her something in file. Because she was sitting opposite to him, having difficulty to see what he had showed. She bent little ahead on table.

"Which one sir?' Till now she had almost forgot her hesitation and been engrossed in work.

"One minute''

Maan stood up and settled near her, dragging chair at little distance from her that she could not feel any awkwardness.

"Look, this one!' He started to make her learn things and in term she slips closer to him without notice. She was so much engrossed in file that did not feel his eyes on her that had hidden mischief.

Maan intentionally bent to her in such position that mark should be seen by her easily and that happened. Geet eyes suddenly fell on his collar and her eyes widen in shock! She glanced Maan who was still occupied in file though he was smiling inward imagining her flooring reaction.

"Oh Babaji.. what's this mark???''

Geet mind alarmed with the thought that he had been close to another girl, which filled her heart with jealousy. She could not understand but didn't like the thought, her heart pained. Her face dulled and that Maan noticed it.

"Why is she so upset?' he thought. He had guessed that she would blush to see her mark on him but here she was disturbed and bit red in anger "but why?? What happened?? Is she repenting our closeness?'' He feared. He stood up in disappointment and composed himself to leave.

"Geet, we would discuss it later as of now, I am leaving for meeting''

He headed to door when Geet stopped him.

"Sir stop, one minute''

"Even though I don't know who is she but no way would I let him go out taking this mark with him. I don't want anyone making fun of him!!'' She thought.

"Geet, can you do fast, I am getting late'' He was stood facing his back to her and was highly upset with her reaction which was utter opposite which he had imagined.

She walked hesitantly and stood facing him. Maan looked her but did not understand her behavior as why her face had disappointment and what the reason she stopped him.

"Geet you… '' Maan tried to speak but Geet interrupted in middle, angering her eyes. He saw an unknown authority in her eyes over him. She hold corner of her Dupatta and rose it up, brought with same level of him and started to rub on mark.

Maan was stunned when felt her touch over him. Though he had been waiting for this moment only but it pleased him much more than that what had thought. Her face was so near, almost a hair distance from his face and he could see slight possessiveness in her act. She was boldly removing mark, holding his shirt with other hand over chest with full concentration that the thin lines of her skin was even visible to him clearly. He was staring long thick lashes of her eyes. It was looking so beautiful on her white smooth skin. He strongly desired to kiss them, feel them. In his lost state he raised hand and brought near her face, softly caressed her cheek. Geet suddenly stopped and looked him meeting his eyes. She read his eyes, it was reading hers. Their eyes were talking, chatting secrets. Geet hold on his shirt tightened and Maan's on her cheek. Both forgot their individual thoughts and became partners of one journey which was taking them near to each other hearts.

Geet came back in sense first, she instantly left his shirt and moved back but Maan did not let her go. He clutched her arm and pulled to him that forced her to look him.

"What happened Geet?'' He sternly asked which came out as mere whisper. She made angered face, which was actually an expression of jealous, which she was unaware of. She did not reply but struggled to move out from his hold but it effected opposite. Maan yanked her closest that there did not be left enough space, even to pass mild air. Their chests were mingled with each other whereas faces were enough closer to smell their fragrant breaths.

Maan held her chin and made her look him.

"Bolo Geet!!''

She was not sure how to explain her condition; even she did not understand why the hell she was feeling this weird. Why she could not remove everything off from mind, the image of Maan with another girl, "Why the hell I'm worrying about it!!!''

"Next time please check yourself after meeting your girlfriend sir''

She uttered in one breath then instantly looked him in shock, whose face was blank.

"Babaji, what I said!!!'' She got scared and runs out covering her mouth. Maan thought what she said, her words felt so alien to his ears. He recalled, and then suddenly he got the meaning. His heart started dancing in stimulation of excitement.

"Oh hoo,,,, so she thought that I was with my girlfriend and from her, got this mark!!!''

And then he got the reason of her anger and unusual behavior. "Was she jealous??'' He remained stunned for minutes with the thought and then smiled with whole heart.

Precap : (Same) "What you are searching Geet!!'' Geet was searching for her 100 rupees note under table, bending down on floor when Maan sudden voice made her draw back and her head hit with table..
