The Downpour... Part 11

"Bhai!!!'

A young age beautiful and slender girl called Maan that made him stop his exercise. He picks up a puffy towel and patted face and body to dry his sweats.

"Bhai are you coming, in Arjun's party tonight??'

Annie, Maan's baby sister asked happily.

Maan threw towel on couch and turned to her and nodded.

"Good!! I knew my big bro can't ever refuse my order!!!' She stood up keeping hands on waist, in attitude.

"Achha now I'm leaving. lots of stuffs are still pending and I am sure, my dear hubby.. Mr Arjun Singh Rathore will be missing me badly''

She giggled making Maan smile too. She was Maan's best possession in life and always wished to see her happy like this. He saw her running outside, shouting..

"Bhai please bring Adi bhai also, with you okay!!!!''

After her leave Maan also left for getting ready for office.

After breakfast he was ready to leave for office. Again and again his eyes were searching something in phone when driver brought car and he settled himself inside. When his wait started to make him restless, finally he called Adi after giving up on his thoughts.

"Hello.. yes sir!!!''

"Adi is everything ready for meeting??''

"Yes sir everything is been arranged''

"And did she come"

"She?? Who sir??''

Maan did not want to ask direct taking Geet name like the call of her name would open the secret of his heart that he had been denying till now.

"That girl Adi''

But Adi could not guess the hidden question of Maan, he was confused that why his outspoken boss was making things devious. When he could not understand lastly Maan had to shout..

"Did GEET come !!!!'

The tone over 'Geet' was so pressurized that affected him inward like an alarm bell. His heart skipped a beat in time. Impatiently he waited for positive answer but Adi said she is not yet and this made him disappointed.

"Why the hell I'm having this strange feeling!!!! Maan you're going crazy.. just stop reacting over that stupid girl!!!!!''

He cursed himself for his own uncontrolled behavior. Making heart forcefully in control he reached office and started his work crushing down every weird thought inward.

Geet was bemused with everything. She was much discontented with every passed event and wanted to make clear everything, leave everything and return back home from this unexpected life which she had been started living-in forcefully. She decided to leave this city and started to pack her things.

After few hours Maan came back from meeting room. He had to leave out for meeting and called Adi to ask that has all preparation been done or not when Adi said that Geet was not there yet. She was needed there because she was to assist Maan for this meeting and now it started to raise his temper. Everything could have tolerated by him but not any irresponsibility in his work.

"Adi just call that stupid girl and ask that is she going to join or not because I cannot wait for her for my whole life!!!!!'' He yelled in anger.

Adi got scared. With trembling hands he took out his phone and dialed Geet. Geet who was busy in packing could not hear ring. Adi tried twice and this time Geet heard but she had no idea where her phone was kept!!! It was in her bag and where Asha had kept it after brining with her from office, she could not find and finally when she found, call got disconnected.

"Sir.. s she is n not taking phone'

Scared Adi shivered seeing the coloring red on Maan face.

"Give me her number!!!!!''

Adi got scared. He knew now no one could have saved poor girl from his wrath. Giving her number he left, praying for her.

Maan dialed her phone and it got connected. This time Geet heard it at once and received.

"Hello?' she spoke

Before Maan could reply he heard her doorbell sounded. Keeping Maan call on hold she went to see who it was.

"Who're you?' She asked seeing two unfamiliar men standing there.

"Hei sweetheart!!'

One answered when other gazed on her which Geet did not like and tried to close door saying she doesn't know them.

"Ohhoo!!! Girl why in so much hurry dear. Let's come inside sweetheart we are your guests!!!!''

One stopped her doing so and forcefully pushed door aside and hopped inside closing door behind. Geet got scared, she moved back in fear. Her gasps made sound. Phone was in her hand and it was on, where Maan was hearing everything. He got shocked to the core.

"Geet.. Hello Geet are you okay?????'' He shouted on phone.

He heard her cry. Hurriedly, without wasting a second he jumped out of cabin and pressed lift button but it was in work already.

"Geet!!!! tell me damnit are you okay!!!!!!!''

He took stairway and skipped many steps and reached on ground. Running he hopped in car and started it in full speed when found phone got disconnected. His heart was running so fast that could have come out from chest and entire body became dried-blood white in fear. He had been hearing her tensed breathes.

"is she okay??? Who were those men!!!! oh God where to go I don't even know her address!!!!!

His car wheel got brake abruptly and stopped in mid road. He tried to connect Geet but it was switched off. Thinking fast he called Adi and asked for her address. Adi who had seen him running out of office was amused itself and rushed to Asha and asked her address and told Maan. Everything was going so fast that no one could understand what was happening excluding Asha, who guessed the real reason and got terrorized.

She called someone and ordered him to leave Geet fast and run away …

Till Maan reached Geet place he saw two men were trying to escape. He chased them but they got away. He came back to her flat and saw the entire building people were gathering there, in front of her door and some were inside as door was opened. He did not like the view.

"What are you all doing here? Please go back to your home everything is alright'

He spoke suppressing his anger. As fast as he wanted to see Geet that 'is she alright' but did not want to make any scene there, before all.

"Can I ask mister that who are you???? ''

One middle age guy who was trying to glimpse inside asked, smirking. Maan glared him. He knew the cheap hidden meaning of his query but had no time to give reply nor was he needed to.

"Her friend!!!!'' He answered politely. His one look was enough to shut everyone's mouth and he closed door, showing them his attitude.

Precap : Maan finds Asha in disco.. drunk.
