one last comment - Maan somewhere had hope that Geet will read through his silence...well she did...maybe not at that moment but she did. But more than understanding it is pain of him niot confiding in her...he took a decision for her happiness but all she wanted was him to make her party to this decision...and that is where and only one place he failed her and she is probably hurt about.

This notion of sacrificing without knowing if truly that is what other person would want to is a crux to this silence...

After reading the update I have mixed feelings for maan yes he did the right thing to break up with geet and wait for the right time to fight for her as it was all for her family he did that but I am not okay with the way he dealt with the entire thing if he had told geet the entire reason for his cold behaviour if only he would have asked her to wait for few years included her in all those plans that he has made to show AK his right place then both of them may not have gone through all that pain.
Partners are supposed to share everything with each other and be each others strenght but here maan took everything on him and literally treated geet as a commodity like 'right now time is not right for us to be together let me make a name for myself then I will get her and I am sure she will wait for me' this is how maan thought he took a chance with geet what if geet had married someone else in those four years for the sake of her family?
After all said and done I liked the maturity of maan here that he decided to first make his own identity and then go for geet as if at that time maan would have gone against his family's wish then maybe he would have been jobless till day true he was a topper and campus recruitment is a great thing happening BUT what is the guarantee for his success in a different company so many companies hire via campus but majority are kept on bench its tough to get a project and provided how mean AK is I am sure maan would have been jobless. A good decison from maan's side to wait till he is settled and then fight for geet but his only mistake was to keep geet away from his plans. But he can be forgiven provided he does fight for his love this time and does not get influenced by his family. AK deserves everything maan has planned for him. Waiting for the next update and the next dhamaka wherein AK (to some extent dadi as well) will be mercilessly shown their right place by MSK.. They wanted MSK now they HAVE to bear the consequences from MSK for ruining his life for four years.

It is so cold hearted when a father cannot give his son the only thing he wanted in life.

There are people who see their kids as a way to fulfill their own ambitions. Sadly even though she should have SD did not stand up for her grand son.

Loved Vicky's stand in this. Sometimes the courage to do the right thing is in the idealistic nature of youth.
