Ta'kheer ke liye teh-e-dil se mu'aafi maangti hoon!(I apologize from the depths of my heart for the delay!) 😳
😲😲😲Finding more and more innovative ways to say Sorry..😲The first thing that caught my attention in this chapter were these lines:"...the neat bold writing, the perfect bullet style notes, the precision of thoughts of the writer..."This tells a lot about the person. It tells how the person is in his life; organised, neat, bold, with a knack of conveying his thoughts the way he wishes. I don't know if you gave this symbolism on purpose but it is certainly one which amazed me yet again with how good you are at putting your point across!Penmanship is very important to me😆. I used to have the hardest time reading my husband's letters when we were newly married...😆 although he is more organized, neat, bold and expressive than I am his writing is the opposite...😉 Jokes aside I agree with your point. Someone who gets things easily (intelligent, like yourself) writes notes like this.Darji and Geet's encounter was touching. It spoke of the strong loving bond that these two share. On one hand, she hid the truth from him so he wouldn't be hurt and on the other hand, he feels guilty for something that isn't exactly his doing. One thing I really really liked was that Darji feels sad instead of being bruised on his ego. In normal cases, a man would normally take it to his ego and retort to the woman, trying to make her count his ehsaanaat but it wasn't the case with Darji and this is what love is.Darji is the best. What to say, modeled after the person I consider my God so Darji will do no wrong for Geet although he will put Maan thru' the wringer later on😉.To say I was surprised to know that Geet was playing soccer with the group of girls would be an understatement. I had the impression of her being the kind of girl who'll sit on the benches and watch sporty girls play ball. But I guess she isn't quite the one who'll hold back from having fun!It was the randomness of the moment when people get together after an exam and let loose. She is not a sport figure of course. When she stopped running after seeing him, I was kind of like 'Ahh! Couldn't she have run just a foot more and crashed with him?!'Not my Geet, she wouldn't. I like that she will not take the initative with him. There is a coolness in her which will be melted only by his fierce passion and relentless pursuit. But then, I heartily thank her playmates for fulfilling that wish! 😳 Poor Maan! Had to listen to Ms, Iyer but who cares now! By the way, why was his bike parked in the girls' hostel parking lot? 😆
😆Glad you noticed. Banda will park at the other end of college just to pass by that window...Waise Avi, bus ko bhi blue kar diya? Aren't you crazy for blue! 😆That was totally random... out of the blue..There was a very tangible lift in the mood of the chapter as the summer ended. To think of it, this whole chapter had some kinds of transformations from the heavy and serene mood in the start of the chapter to a contentment which Maan felt at having helped Geet and the tingling feeling when they crashed and shared a smile to the youthful feeling with the trip. This part, however, with Maan sliding on the banister, rushing off to find the bus, freewheeling, all of it actually made Maan appear of the age that he is, the age that he should be, enjoying life. I actually loved the moment when Maan placed his hands back on the bike after seeing her look worried. That was kind of the 'aww' moment for me!Yeah, he is getting over the shock of losing his parents so his spirits need to be uplifted. More on that in the next one.The music did a great job in lifting the mood at creating the ambiance of that lightness which you were trying to portray. You already know that I have never been the one for old songs, or one for songs to be precise, but you, Avi, have me actually enjoying the wide range of songs you've been using with the chapters. And never before this have I realized why Mohammed Rafi was - and still is - considered a golden voice!I love the music in that song esp in the middle when it takes off. Sonu sang it in concert last year and it reminded me again of the song. Old but gold. The conclusion of the chapter made me smile widely. Indeed, new beginnings are here, the beginnings which look promising. The shayr was outclass! Absolutely fitting for this moment. One thing that I noticed was Adi and his friendship with Maan. It has me thinking of him from a different perspective from the first impression I got of him with Sujal's thoughts. But more on this at the appropriate time. Right now, let me tell you that the pictures of the destination feel like it'll be a lot of fun to visit it, even though I tend to stay away from waters and from heights.Sujal's thoughts are of a protective brother. Adi and Pinky are a little different here. Yeah the pics and suggestion by Krati will probably cause me to add a chapter or two..Thanks for updating Avi, and read the first line again for what else I want to say as a closure of my comment! 😆
