This chapter was one such that made me feel mix emotions'. Few moments & scenes caused me to smile, some made me feel all romantic, while some just made me to feel sad & reach out to Geet & Darji in their own pain & sharing of life & relations. Naina has aptly named her Bambi. She indeed is innocence personified. One question though do such people like Geet that you've sketched out here really exist?

Geet is based on a girl I know. She is indeed like that innocent and mumbling to the floor and yes I will pass the hug on to her.

Her keeping account to pay the person who spends to send her couriers shows how pure of heart she is, untainted innocence. So much so you compel me while reading to just go & give this Geet a hug for being so sweet & nave while at the same time show her that world isn't as she views it through her vision of purity. But then that would taint her perception, she needs to learn her own lessons with Maan & NT by her side.

Geet madam is unaware that Maan is the rich MSK, for her he is just a commoner. This aspect just adds another dimension to her nature.

Will this dimension scare her away from him? This is going to come up again in the story.

With each part I'm feeling so good to read about Darji-Geet bonding. Their relation just strikes a chord deep within me & touches me to do something for them. I love the way you've brought out & added meaning to their connection to each other as the only support in life in form of a family & in terms of love ' so simply put together but very impactful. The implicit trust, concern & love is so reflective that it can be felt even while reading. Darji's anguish on being unable to fund her education & the feeling of failure he experiences on knowing her struggle to work to be able to shoulder the expenses was so reciprocated & mirrored by her concern & guilt of hiding the half truth from him. I liked this ' half truth & no lie'. It has a lot of depth in it.

She can't lie to him but to protect him, she will do everything. Her truest relation will always be with Darji just like most of us are with our parents.

Now coming to the dealings of the budding new relation. Maan is very well following Aisha's advice, of being on the same path as her though not alongside her but at least behind her to support her whenever she falters & later to be able to be in step with her journeying through life. He is like her strong fortress/pillar but someone who shelters & shields but unknowingly so as to not be felt as burden but one who makes it possible to feel capable of facing anything in life.

He wants to be loved for himself. Not as an obligation or because of his money. Yeah Aisha was very much needed to bring this side of Maan out because I don't think teenagers like him think this deeply.😆 Money will be a factor later on in the relationship.

The almost hug on the playground was so '. Geet paid him his dues of helping her unknowingly in form of the almost hug & the shy smile with which he was able to pass the summer vacations.

The whole bike chasing bus scene was good. Everything was clichd & movie like' yet it made me smile & feel all too good. May be because it was so much like teenage love, the naivety, adrenaline rush, the impressions setting & attention seeking, the smiles exchanged along with eye locks. I loved his style on the bike' being all strong & masculine by trying stunts so as to get attention from her & also her being all concerned & worried for him. It spoke of passion yet mixed with innocence, teenage confusions yet concern, illusions yet attraction. It all left a sweet tingle' & seed of first love that will blossom in first trip together.

I really liked the way you summed it in that paragraph'.- "A new year in college, a new path I walk with you''' taking steps together in our journey." Naureen's shayari was as always too good'. Like cherry on the cake.

Don't know but the ending was not working out for a while so I finally went thru' her shaiyari and that seemed to click it for me too..

P.S.: I have just noticed ' must be something I'm just conjuring randomly. Are you very fond of the number 500' (508 or 584)? Just a random observation may not be so'😉

Rs. 584 is the exact cost of a courier of notes as per Palin (palindrome). Research maam..😉

I loved the song it gelled well with the situation'. Also I so want to go to Mussoorie now after looking at pics you posted at the end.

Yeah Daadi is having her work in the outhouse not in KM. Maan doesn't know about her (Geet wale chapter mein tha) working with Daadi, he thinks she is there because of Dev, which is one of the reasons for the MU.
