Here I am, this is me! (The rest of the lyrics don't suit!)😆
There were so many little things in this chapter which showed us various faces to the characters in there. Naintara, Dev, Daadi, and even Zarin.
Let me begin with the star of the chapter. Naintara. You've always said that you love strong women who'd stand up for themselves and be firm about their decisions. and this Naintara is the ultimate culmination of that belief of yours. She is one of those people who'll not really interfere in other's matters either professionally or personally, until they feel that they need to. Just like she didn't want to step in to Geet's life and her ways but when she realised that the bambi (I love the connection you made of Geet with bambi!) was oblivious of the underlying intentions of the world, she stepped in to shield her. That's perhaps the softest of Naintara we have seen as of yet. In the office as well, though she was annoyed at all the transformation of the environment from a professional one to more like a party one, she didn't say anything because she knew it wasn't her place to do so. Another facet of Naintara was the informed person. She knows about brands and products and she has it in her to show anyone -no matter how much of a popular that person is - their respective place. I like it! And last but certainly not the least, there's a childish fieriness in her, which makes her want to scratch faces and let a certain someone fall face-first.😆
Zarin here, the superstar had all the traits of stars in her. The attitude, the beauty and the haughtiness. She is beautiful and she knows it, and she doesn't step back from using her beauty to her favour. But most of all, what struck me was the friend of Dev. Even after being famous, she's stil friends with Dev, no matter what the intentions might be. I liked this in her a lot. And oh yes, I did not like some Choudhary guy referred to as clingy!
Dev, Dev, Dev! What do I say about him? While there's a lot about him that I won't appreciate, like every other person - yes, I'm referring to his amazing ability of stealing away the credit from Naintara and not being grateful about it, rather having the gall to show her the bossy attitude! - I still noticed a few things which I liked. Like his quick thinking. I admired him when he had to meet Zarin and yet he still kept his meeting with Naintara in mind and adjusted his schedule in a matter of seconds while still being on phone. Another thing I liked was his protectiveness towards Zarin, the way he told about it to Daadi. He's a loyal friend, isn't he? And the sanyaasi dialogue had me chuckling. Shararati!😆
And Daadi, I so loved her!! For two reasons. One, for keeping someone's amanat safe and for ensuring no other person can even think about it the other way,😳and two, for putting Dev back where he should be and giving Naintara the chance of taking the credit of what she does. That was when I laughed out loud, when a whining Dev followed his Daadi out and a victorious Naintara felt like pumping a fist in the air! Tell you what, she should've jumped and pumped her fist. I would've done that, when nobody was watching me of course!😆
The VM... Do I even need to say anything about it? ☺️
And the song on the precap didn't work. 🤔
Anyway, here's my two-days late comment with lots of apologies for the delay (dil mein). Thanks for updating Avi! 🤗
