At night Geet was going back in her room after completing all households she heard some sound was coming out from Dadi room.

She thought to spend some time with SD as she was not feeling like sleep so headed to SD room and knocked slightly which SD did not hear. She was talking on phone turning her back toward Geet. Geet thought not to disturb her so decided to leave when something intermitted her step on way.

"Dev I don't want you to call here again as I already have broken all the relationships from you, dint you get that!!! Today I handled everything before Maan but now, dare you to come here ever!!!'

And then her talks interrupted due to Geet gasp which she uttered unknowingly. SD cut the call hurriedly but knew it had been already enough late to do this, still tried to make composed face which was failing poorly.

Geet was having both shock and confusion combined feeling. She could not guess why Dadi was saying "Relationship has been broken' but knew, something was hidden from other family members.

"Aree Geet Beta, why are you standing there? Come inside..'

"Dadi what were you talking with .. 'Dev' she took extra second to utter Dev name from her mouth with disgust feeling. "Is he back?''

"No beta there is nothing like that!! He is still on tour. I was just asking him about one of his friend that..' SD tried to make some convenient excuse but Geet interrupted.

"Don't try to lie Dadima. I know you are hiding something'

SD old age was not able to hide more from Geet. Though she tried most but could not get success as Geet could read her turmoil very easily and finally she decided to tell everything. But how, it couldn't be easy to tell about her own blood ill-deed, which was so shocking and disgraceful for her family name. But Geet gave her courage and console and SD told her everything.

"Geet Beta I am sorry, I am sorry that my own child wanted to do this shameful deed with you that no punishment can be enough to cover it up. I had no choice but to hide this things to Maan and you because of your peaceful life but I failed Beta. I failed..!!! 'She cried.

Geet was shocked. She could not believe that how a mother can take this grievous decision against her own child over on just an outsider girl. She could not believe that how much this old lady had been suffering alone without anyone support beside. Her family shattered, her reputation of family could come on risk any time yet she chosen doing justice, over hiding this things. Her own suffering started to go vanish in front of Dadi misery. She could not hear Dadi apologies and hugged her tight feeling so timid in front of her. Geet cried without sound. Her heart was shedding tears which was wetting up her entire body and letting every pain sliding down to make her heart light and collected.

SD hugged her back. She tried to calm her down with her elderly talks but inside feeling guilt and shame. ''How would she face Geets innocent eyes from now', Dadi was worried for, had no clue that Geet was already was going to became witness of all this. .

"Geet hume maaf kar dijiye!!'

"No Dadima, please don't say like this' Geet wiped her eyes. "It's not your fault '

"I know, but it's my own child fault ...' SD said bowing down face in shame.

"And my brother's too' Geet spoke lost. SD looked her confused.

"Kya matlab Beta'

Geet told her everything what happened in HP and how she escaped. Now it was her turn to get shock. So much was hidden from both sides and both had been bearing this all alone. They exchanged their consolation to each other but both had the most dreadful fear now. What would happen when Maan would come to know about this? They got shiver with the mere thought. What would be the entire scene when reality would come out!!!

"was Dev in mansion today Dadi?'

SD nodded. "He had come to met me in Maan absence. He is leaving this country tomorrow and wanted to see me for the last time' She could not hold back her tears and Geet did not let her stop also.

Geet was feeling choke in throat seeing Dadi condition and her helplessness in all this matter. Though Geet hated to even take Dev name from her mouth yet, she thought to call him back for sake of Dadi. With trembling voice she kept her decision in front of her,

"Dadima, if'if you want he can stay here. I'I am ready to''

But SD cut her words in middle.

"No Beta! Don't become weak just because seeing me in this condition. I don't want your pity. Geet don't forget that I am same lady who had brought up the Maan Singh Khurana whom you know keeps as tough heart as a mountain. And don't forget that I have taught him this to be'

She smiled in tears. Geet felt blessed to have this people around her. She smiled back wiping SD tears and hugged her.

"Dadima' Maan!!' Geet spoke worriedly, questioningly.

"I know Geet that someday he has to know but I want him to know everything after your marriage. At least this happiness should enter in his life without any misfortune". Geet nodded.

Suddenly they heard Maan foot steps outside of room. Before they could become settled he stepped in and saw their teary faces..

it is a tough task for a mother to punish their own blood for an outsider

daadi is right in her decision

but still truth of dev is far away from maan

dont know when it will be out in front of him
