A fresh start and a fresh day of her life, Geet didn't know if giving up on her career and joining somewhere like this was right or not. All that she knew was she needed time and space from that journalism which had given her a kind of ego rather than other good qualities. She had always excelled with her work and her abilities.

She wanted this new phase to make her understand the other side of the world ... And also expose an animal like Maan if he was truly a janwar. She didn't knew what kind of person he was and the first thing for her was to know his background for which she needed some research. Making up her mind she stood in front of the office in a cotton saree which was her new dress code. Only cotton sarees!! She sighed taking out the clutch from her bag and putting it to her hair. Being a Muslim she was used to wear burkha and this saree seemed a hindrance to her high fi life. (I am only speaking about her saree not the burkha!!)

She entered the office to find girls sitting in a couch waiting for their turn to be called inside to take the charges of new job. She carefully observed a person entering the space where everyone stood to wish him ... He seemed to be a charmer with his looks, kind of curiosity rose in her to know who he was actually. She went to the reception and found Pinky setting the papers probably to show them to her boss.

As her sight fell on Geet she smiled warmly ... Maan sir is waiting for you only Ma'am, unke baad aap hi iss office ki boss hai, Manager!! Geet's jaw literally fell listening to what Pinky said!! Does she mean She was the next boss after Maan?? How could that janwar give her a position like that??

Brushing her thoughts away Geet firmly asked ... May I know why was I given such a position here??

Woh sab mujhe nahi pata Ma'am ... Maan sir ne kaha ki aap unke saath kaam karengi aur baaki ke ladkiyan Dev sir!!

Haan Ma'am wahi hai ... actually woh Maan sir ke cousin hai ... Nath ji ke bte!! Her mind just froze knowing his identity!! Maan himself had put Nath in jail but he was having no problem with Dev?? Is it that he was playing games??

So her first day in the office started ... with a moment of doubt, which would lead her to a path filled with thorns. All she knew was she was strong and she was a fighter, she only knows to win her battle.

Pinky: Ma'am aapko apna cabin dikha deti hoon, uske baad aap Maan sir se millo ... Saying she lead Geet towards her room.

She stood like a statue checking out the room ... it was beautiful, having things of her necessities ... A bed too along with a couch ... Furniture, all the requirements of office. She wondered if he was preparing to make her stay there all her life!! Geet felt embarrassed standing beside Pinky. How could he provide her such things on the name of job and office.

After an hour a meeting was held where all the staff were being present, Maan and Dev ... Both of them were came once the others too assembled. For Geet it seemed like she was in a fashion show. All of them were girls except for three people ... Maan, Dev and Adi who is Personal Manager of Maan.

Maan: I guess everyone here knows that you are supposed to work for my new office ... I am handling this place to my cousin Dev Nath, who would give you the work while Geet would be managing all my void here ... You are very much aware that I am the director of the research laboratory ... so that block is joined to my personal office, and in my absence it would be Geet and Dev who are supposed to run behind my election campaigns.

Dev gazed Geet from top to bottom ... This was the same girl coz of whom his father was in jail, he had long back made up how to take his revenge. He cant stand the power which Maan was having and this girl would make him reach upto Maan too!! Nath was being given a death sentence ... Maan had taken Nath's office too.

He will use Geet for his benefit and wont think twice before he would destroy her. He smirked evilly thinking about the person who warms his bed all the while ...Nisha!! Geet's sister, he had a footage of him making out with her too. Two months to sentence his father and two months to destroy Geet.

Maan asked everyone to disperse ... Geet was the only person who stood there, she wanted to know why she was given such a luxurious chamber. And to her utter dismay Maan said understanding her plight ... you will have to work for long hours in my office, and I feel you will have no problem. Like you said you shine with your work and talent I decided to see how much you are skilled, and I had given all those luxuries for that reason ... Paying a lakh rupees to you mean quality work ... He handed her the appointment letter and left!!

So this was something she least expected ... one lakh salary per month!! Why?? What was the reason behind him giving her such good salary??

Another week passed ... Aman didn't even call Geet neither did she!! And slowly this gave a strong feeling to her that he was definitely playing games with her. Didn't know why it struck to her this way but something was definitely wrong!!

She could see a new Maan on the whole ... Work oriented, and very dedicated with everything he does. She was randomly working in the internet and she typed his name Maan Singh Khurana in google. She got some to read about him in the Wikipedia which had hyperlinks for the website of the laboratory where he was the director. She opened it to find his achievements, and then she got an idea about his professionalism.

The next thing that was related to him was Nath and his background ... she found few links which were going expired so easily.

On the other side of the database ... A Professional software engineer began to design site, so that she clicks and she finds things which Maan wanted to show off to Geet.
